Author note: Guys, there are some changes yeah.. Sarah is not a cheerleader but Anna is. Sarah is a valedictorian material.. she's a brilliant student... Yeah that's the changes.. hope you guys are not confused. Now enjoy the story 😄

Mrs Hudson's Pov

I take Sarah home since it's already late. We both are silent since we don't know what to say to each other. "I can hear you think from the passenger seat" she said sarcastically. "I just think about something that's it" I told her. "Liar Liar Pants on fire, I didn't take you for the lying type, Mrs Hudson" she chuckled. "You can call me Diana outside the school" "alright DeeDee" she smiled widely. "Wait, why DeeDee?" I asked her confused. " Because the nickname is cute and you're cute" she just shrugged. I can feel blood rushing to my cheeks.

"Why is your face so red? We are sitting in the air conditioned car, then why are you re--- owhhhh wait are you blushing?" She teases me. " It's nothing, maybe some kind of allergic reaction" I tried to say nonchantly. "Yeah, allergic reaction to my compliment " She laughed. "If you're finished laughing at me, we are already in front of your house. Get out before I kick you out " I smirk at her. "Wow I feel so loved right now " she chuckled at me and got out of the car. She waved at me and I waved back.

At home

"Girls, where is your dad?" I asked those two munchkins. " Papa said he has some work to do, so he went out" Gabrielle my eldest daughter,told me. " Yup he said not to wait for him since he doesn't know when he will come back" Isabelle,my youngest daughter said. "Alright, I have no mood to cook right now, so I'm going to order some pizza, I need you girls to freshen up first okay. " They both nodded and ran to the bedroom.

Suddenly my phone received a message from an unknown number. I opened it and my hands started to shake. There are pictures of my husband in his office working. And below those pictures, there's a message,Dia,what will you do if suddenly your husband is no more?

I know who's the sender because there's only one person who called me with that horrible nickname. I immediately called my dad and told him everything. He asked me to stay at home and he will go to check on Daniel.

I can't think straight now. My husband is in danger and I do nothing about it. I called my sister to take care of my kids. She immediately came and I drove to the company he worked at. I can see some people gathered at his office and I feel scared. I saw my dad and went towards him but what I didn't expect is I saw Sarah standing there with a bandage on her arm. I rushed to her to check on her, I can feel that she didn't expect me there. " Love, what are you doing here?" Daniel asked me but my attention was on Sarah. "I came here to check on you, btw what happened here?" "Sarah, are you okay?" I asked worriedly. " Yeah I'm okay, it's just a small graze." She gives a small smile but I know clearly that she's trying to hide her pain." What do you mean by small graze, muffin. If I didn't come at the correct time, who knows what will happen to you?" Her dad said clearly still shaken up.

Sarah just looks down. "Are you okay? Does it hurt so much? Did you eat the medicine yet? Do you need anything?" I shoot a lot of questions at the same time. "I'm okay DeeDee, don't worry, hey at the bright side, I saved your husband" She grinned widely. I turned my attention to my husband to see that he was alright then turned again to Sarah. "Can I talk to you alone, everyone excuse us for a while" I walked out first then followed by Sarah.

"What are you even doing here in the first place?  I asked her. " My dad is working here, he left some of his documents at home, so I brought it to him" "wait,how did you come here?" I asked her confused. " I have my driver's licence " she shrugged. "Alright, can I know what happened here?" I ask her. " I gave the documents to my dad and when I passed by your husband's office, I heard some noise. When I went in, I saw some guy trying to stab your husband, and when I tried to save him, that big guy stabbed me on my arm. When he heard that some of the workers were coming here, he ran away." I tried to control my sob but after I saw her arm, I couldn't control it. I placed my forehead on her shoulder and cried. She holds me with her uninjured arm."DeeDee, stop crying, your husband is okay. He's safe, nothing happened to him." She said to me.

"Do you think I'm crying because of that? Yeah, I'm grateful that nothing happened to my husband but when I saw you with that bloodied shirt, I felt that someone stabbed my heart a hundred times. I always hurt you, you don't deserve that " I sniffles. " Wait, I don't get it, what is the connection between this incident and you?" She was confused. I told her everything about Ryan. I was torn between whether she will leave me alone after this or I'm dragging her into this mess.

"Okay that's a lot to take in, but I'm not scared okay, I'm here for you and I will protect you. I will do anything to protect you and your family since I know how important they are for you." She promised me. " Listen, I don't want to drag you in my mess okay, I want you to stay away from this problem, I can't lose you okay " I said tearfully. " I love you and your problem is mine and I'm here to help you, and don't argue with me " she said with finality in her voice . I lean and kiss her forehead and rest my cheeks on her head. I heard her sigh and lean on my chest. We both embrace each other tightly and for the first time, I felt so light.
