“Oh, do you think I took advantage of you? I’m old enough to be your mother!” Alva began to boast, “Do you think I enjoy changing your clothes? I’ve seen you grow from a boy to a man, I’m sick of it!”

Thaddeus was helpless.

He was well aware that Elspeth was a cun ning woman, hence his cold demeanor towards Glynnis.

But Glynnis didn’t see it that way. She thought that she had beauty and a good family background. Plus, she was so straightforward. She was sure Mr. Jareth would be eating out of her hand soon.

So, she pulled her collar lower, straightened her chest, and flirtatiously hung onto Jareth’s sturdy arm, puckering her red l*ps.

“Mr. Jareth, let’s go, I’ll take you to Thaddeus.”

However, the next second, Jareth’s eyes turned frosty, his gaze cold as ice.

“Let go of me. Your perfume is too pungent; don’t d*rty my clothes.”
