Olivia didn’t ride a horse at night, but she liked to take the horse for a walk.

This black pony with snow–white hooves was Olivia’s favorite. She had to ride it a few laps every day, take it for a walk at night, and occasionally brush its fur.

Olivia took the coffee from the butler and took a sip before looking up at Mia. “What’s the matter?” she asked.

Olivia leaned against the sofa with her legs crossed. She looked lazy and didn’t care about Mia’s words at all.

She glanced at Mia indifferently and suddenly said, “I don’t know if Daniel has an ulterior motive, but I know very well if you have an ulterior motive.”

“What nonsense are you talking about?” Mia’s eyes suddenly turned cold, as if her thoughts had been exposed. Her entire body was filled with guilt.

Olivia held the cup and rubbed the rim of the cup with her fingertips. After a while, she looked up and said seriously, “You have a deep relationship with Daniel. He values you as his own sister and I respect you very much. I hope you won’t disappoint us.”

“What?” Mia sneered. Her voice suddenly became sharp, and for the first time, she revealed a mean and unkind appearance. “You haven’t even married into the Sullivan family, and you’re already impatient to say this. You’re quite ambitious. Unfortunately, you’re destined to not be able to marry Daniel.”

At this point, Mia’s eyes suddenly flashed a coldness. She stood up and walked to Olivia’s side. She lowered her voice and said, “I have prepared a big gift for you. Just wait for it. You will receive it tomorrow.”

“Gift?” Olivia’s expression did not change. She asked calmly, “You found a woman for Daniel?”

Mia’s heart skipped a beat. She found it unbelievable. “Aren’t you worried?”

Mia thought, “Any normal woman would be nervous. Why doesn’t Olivia care at all? How could she be so calm?”

“Worried about what?” Olivia looked up.

She was a little sleepy. When she spoke, her voice unconsciously slowed down, and she said very slowly, giving off the illusion of gentleness.

Mia was stunned. “Aren’t you worried that Daniel likes other women?”

“I’m worried.” Olivia nodded slowly.

“Then why are you so calm?”

Olivia’s expression was lazy. She gently raised her eyes and said calmly, “Because I trust him, and I trust myself more.”

Mia was stunned.

She did not know when she had returned to her room, nor did she know what she should do.

She wanted to call Jack, but she was afraid.

Mia did not know what she was afraid of, but she did not dare to call Jack.

She sat at the head of the bed, quietly waiting for the results.

Mia pretended not to know. “Why did she enter Daniel’s room?” As she spoke, she smiled slightly and glanced at Olivia. “Is she an admirer of Daniel?”

“No,” Ellis explained. “Her stepmother, step–sister, and Bob have already confessed. Betty was originally framed by her stepmother and given to Bob. Halfway through, Betty woke up and ran over the balcony to Mr. Sullivan’s room.”

Ellis suddenly looked at Mia and said softly, “The hotel is closed because the balcony is too close. Also, we found surveillance equipment in Betty’s previous room.”

Mia clenched her fists tightly under her skirt, but her face was still calm and curious. “Did someone intentionally design it? Have you checked the mastermind behind it?”

“It’s not a design. It’s a coincidence,” Ellis said. “We have already checked. It’s just a coincidence. It wasn’t designed by anyone, but…”

“But what?” Mia asked nervously.
