The banquet was held at the estate south of Launu.

It was just after dawn when Olivia set off. The sky was dyed with a faint shade of blade, and the grayish–blue color had a unique kind of beauty. Mia sat beside Olivia.

She was in a much better state now. She was no longer so nervous that she could not sleep at night as before.

However, it was not a whole lot better. She was still a little uneasy.

She forced herself to maintain her composure and turned to Olivia. “Olivia, follow me when we get there. Don’t be nervous. I’ll take care of you.”

Olivia tilted her head and looked out of the car window at the rapidly passing trees.

Hearing Mia’s words, she rolled her eyes and chuckled. “Okay.”

The Devonstern family’s manor was enormous. The guests‘ cars had to be parked in an empty space specially reserved for parking. Then, the servants would lead them into the banquet hall.
