Chapter 591
Billionaire’s Missing Darling
Yossi counted silently. In a single morning, Prince Andrew had traversed the courtyard eight times, an astonishing eight times!
Even Olivia was taken aback. She whispered to Yossi, âIs Andrew really that busy?â
Yossi shook his head, thoroughly baffled. Tve never seen him this occupied before. Moreover, Prince Andrew wouldnât personally handle such matters. An assistant or a subordinate would suffice.â
After spending the entire morning outdoors. Olivia felt a pang of hunger. Additionally, Andrew had just left, presumably for lunch, and he might not return for a while.
She considered. Perhaps itâs best to return to my room, have a meal, and take a brief respite.
Unexpectedly, as soon as she returned to her room, Andrew reappeared.
He had donned a fresh ensemble, a suit that seemed to be recently tailored. For the very first time, he adorned a silver timepiece. His appearance was strikingly handsome.
As he strolled back, he feigned interest in the documents before him. His gaze bore an intensity that spoke of deep concentration, rendering him irresistibly captivating.
As he approached Olivia, he smoothly passed the document to his subordinate, seizing the moment to steal a glance at her.
Ultimately, there was naught but emptiness.
Andrew came to an abrupt halt, his breath catching for the briefest of moments, yet swiftly reclaiming his steady rhythm.
âWhere is she?â he thought with a furrowed brow.
His countenance abruptly grew somber, as if it were the tranquil interlude before an impending tempest.
âWhereâs Yossi?â he inquired, his voice hushed and raspy.
The assistant promptly beckoned the nearby bodyguards and inquired about Yossiâs whereabouts.
âYour Highness, Butler Yossi has dispatched Miss Smith for lunch, came the response.
âSo, she has indeed returned!â
Andrewâs exquisite gaze was cast downward, hearing a nearly imperceptible trace of solitude. He had chosen this attire with. care, hoping to catch her eye, yet she remained oblivious.
A melancholic aura enveloped him.
Andrew found himself devoid of the strength to take another step.
His thought echoed, I am utterly exhausted. Walking is beyond me right now, and I also yearn for sustenance!
Coincidentally, Yossi returned after seeing Olivia off and hurried to Andrewâs side..
Is lunch prepared in the kitchen? Andrew inquired.
Yossi displayed a hint of surprise. âDid Prince Andrew not mention he was dining out? The kitchen hasnât prepared lunch for Prince Andrew.â
Andrew frowned.
Yossi promptly responded, âI will go and issue the instructions immediately âToo late.â Andrew impatiently remarked. âWhat is currently available in the kitchen?â
âYes,â Yossiâs mind raced. âThere are only a few dishes prepared for Miss Smith.â
âAh.â Andrew sighed deeply and wore an expression of resignation. âI suppose Iâll be sharing lunch with Olivia this afternoon.â
Yossi was speechless.
Yossi couldnât help but feel the weight of his inadequacy. He lowered his head and pondered, âWouldnât this be terribly unfair to Prince Andrew? I couldnât even arrange a meal, and now he must partake of Miss Smith Oliviaâs lunch.
Without hesitation, Andrew made his way toward Oliviaâs room.
This time, his feet were free from soreness, and his legs lacked the weariness of before. His entire being brimmed with renewed vigor.
As he advanced with purpose, his subordinates struggled to keep pace, and even Yossi had to break into a jog, his breath labored from the exertion.
Inside the room, Olivia was in the midst of preparing her meal.
Nancy Banks approached with a somber countenance.
Olivia gripped her fork and sighed, âWhy are you here once more? Do you intend to observe me cat again?â
âNo,â Nancy Banks retorted, her gaze directed at Olivia, exuding an air of nobility and frigidity. Thave come to caution you. Iâve heard that you spent the entire morning in the courtyard. Are you, by chance, prying into Prince Andrewâs movements?â
âI have Yossi with me. How could I possibly pry?â Olivia responded, her tone carrying an air of innocence.
âThatâs good.â Nancy Banks nodded. âBut I must remind you that Prince Andrew has no desire to encounter you. Your presence in the courtyard is a vexation to him.â
âA vexation?â Olivia questioned, her brows furrowing in surprise.
Olivia clenched her fork, feeling a sense of injustice. âDid Andrew send you to speak with me?â
âOf course, Prince Andrew has no desire to see you, Nancy Banks replied, her tone unwavering âGot itâ Olivia lowered her eyes.
As soon as she finished speaking, the door swung open, and Andrew made a striking entrance before Olivia.
Yossi panted as he followed behind, and he announced, âMiss Smith, Prince Andrew has come to dine with you.â
Olivia asked, âHuh?â She thought, âWasnât he detesting her and avoiding me?
Nancy was speechless.
She pondered, âI merely intended to sow discord. Why is it proving to be so arduous?
