Kelly didn’t even know when Brenda left. When she realized that Brenda was gone, she even looked around. “Mr. Lester, have you seen Brenda?”

Sawyer shook his head. “I didn’t see her.”

The assistant director snickered and said meaningfully, “I guess she’s too ashamed to face anyone and left.”

‘What does he mean by that? Why would she be too ashamed to face anyone?‘

Kelly did not understand, but the assistant director did not continue.

Kelly didn’t have many scenes on the set of “Great Business“. After all the scenes. were finished, the filming was completed, and the crew needed to go somewhere else to film.

The three female leads finished filming at about the same time.

Kelly couldn’t bear to part with Vera. These days, Vera had taught her many things.

Kelly held her chin. “What are your plans next, Miss Stanton?”

Vera smiled. “I’m different from you young people. I’m considered semi–retired. After filming this movie, I’ll go back and rest. I’ll make a comeback when I want to film one day.”

Vera asked, “What about you, Kelly? What are your plans next?”

Kelly replied, “I might need to participate in a variety show.”

“Variety show?” Sharon, who had always been aloof and rarely spoke to them, suddenly asked, “What variety show?”

After asking, before Kelly could reply, she held her cheek with one hand and pretended to look troubled. “Alas, I’m also choosing my variety show. My agent has sent a few contracts over, but unfortunately, none of them are to my liking.”

She suddenly thought of Kelly. “By the way, Kelly, what’s the name of the variety show you’re participating in? Let me tell you, you’re quite popular now, but you can never ever participate in some lousy variety show for money. It will consume your popularity.

“If you don’t have any good choices, I can bring you along.”

“No, thanks.” Kelly shook her head. “Amanda has already arranged it for me. I’m about to join the production crew.”

After Sharon asked a few times, Kelly didn’t say what variety show she was participating in. Sharon immediately knew that it was probably an insignificant variety show without much funding.

Sharon felt better after realizing this.

Kelly was the female lead in the production crew of “Great Business” while Sharon was just a supporting actress. Although her character setting was not bad, she felt that she was inferior to Kelly.

Especially since the director always praised Kelly.

After leaving the filming location, Sharon would participate in a popular variety show, while Kelly could only participate in an unknown variety show.

Sharon felt proud at the thought of that.

Without even saying goodbye, Sharon rushed straight to the van and called her agent, requesting to participate in the second season of “Let’s Travel Together“.

No matter how her agent tried to persuade her, Sharon insisted on participating.

In the end, the agent became impatient and sneered. “Try to get it on your own. Anyway, the company can’t help you get it. If you really want to participate, let Mr. Phil help you.”

With that, the agent hung up the phone.
