Before Kelly could react, her hands were grabbed by Ian.

Kelly was confused. “I’m not injured.”

Ian checked carefully. After confirming that Kelly was alright, he looked up with a straight face and lectured her, “You’re not allowed to hit anyone in the future!”

What did he mean?

Kelly’s heart ached. Was he going to stand up for Lucia?

Before she could feel aggrieved, she heard Ian’s stern voice. “In the future, let me or instruct Cyril to do it if you want to hit people. My heart will ache if it hurts you. Lucia’s skin is so thick and hard. It hurts you so much when you hit her.”

Kelly was speechless.
