Chapter 388 * Waiting *

Aiden took the aircraft to the Z country’s military hospital. As he landed,

they alerted the military with red light; when they saw the symbol in

front of the aircraft, they ran and stood in line. They respectfully

saluted.

Aiden’s assistant ran out first and looked at the military head,

“emergency, prepare everything,” before the military ran around.

They dragged the stretcher to the roof; David jumped out with Kate's

body

“Show me the way.”

He said to Aiden; he doesn't want to put Kate on the stretcher, just

looking at the stretcher. His heart was in endless pain. He only

remembers people using this to carry the dead bodies, but his Kate is

still alive. She will stay with him.

Everyone recognized him with one glance, especially the military head.

He was shocked and almost jumped out of excitement, but his

happiness broke when he saw a woman in David's arms.

In one glance at David Xiver's face, he knew she was not any woman

but David's life. Everyone panicked when they saw she was covered

with blood and her face lost all color.

Aiden sighed. He runs in front while David carries Kate in his arms.

Soon they came in front of the operation room. Aiden looked at, “put

her here; 2nd brother, sister-in-law don't have time to waste.”

David looked at Kate for the last time and reluctantly put her on the

stretcher. He leaned over and kissed her forehead.

“You need to stay with me. Remember this, if not, I will die here with

you taking our baby with me,” He whispered.

He threatened her, still kissing her forehead. She is his precious life;

seeing him like this, Aiden felt a sharp pain. This man never lost his

composure over anything, yet he lost his sanity over his woman.

Everyone felt sad seeing such a scene; their heart ached, a god-like

man using childish ways to threaten his woman. Aiden and the other

doctor took Kate inside with them.

David felt his world left with her. He was holding the ray of hope, hope

that she would come back to him.

A while later, Aiden came back with a frightened face “sister-in-law is

pregnant? He didn’t know this; David shakes his head.

He already gave up on the baby because nothing is more important

than her; he never will.

“Save her; I need nothing else.” David gave an obvious answer.

“Shit” Aiden pulled his hair like a madman. He was furious. He vows to

do an operation on that bitch woman because her sister-in-law and

their nephew are in danger.

“I will try to save the baby, but I don't think so” Aiden left after leaving

his last words.

Even though David knows the baby might not survive, but his

heartaches, a baby, his and her, they both created together, this baby

stayed with them for months, suddenly leaving them.

The operation room closed with a thud; David felt this sound straight hit

his heart. He fell on his knees before the option room door.

The head officer tried with braveness “sir, everything is going to be

okay. Please sit here at the table,” he said.

David didn’t even move from there. He stayed on his knees. His hand

was injured, but he was bleeding in his heart.

Dozens of footsteps rocked the hospital's ground; the officers and

nurse peeked in the direction and saw a crowd of people was coming

toward them.

Everyone looks deserted.

The entire family came, Nina, Rose, Liam, Adam, Alex, Amy, Mr. Allen,

and Mrs. Allen, the Roth family, everyone was there.

“Oh, my god,” everyone screamed when they saw David's white shirt

covered with blood.

“What happened? Is our sister-in-law okay” Adam felt his heart going to

blast anytime? He could tell David was not in his normal mind, so he

asked the nurse and the head officer instead.

The head shook his head “they shot her in her heart; the situation is not

on her luck.” Everyone felt someone threw them in a fire pit.

Everyone stood behind David. Alex found everything, Robert gave the

details. He wanted to hide it from everyone, but Amy screamed so

loudly that everyone found out.

They all almost beat him, so he helplessly took them here.

Everyone was crying, especially these women who almost fainted

hearing the whole thing.

But David didn’t even blink his eyes; he just stayed on his knees while

looking at the closed door.

Mrs. Roth was a heart patient, so she fainted. In the end, they had to

admit her to the hospital.

Mrs. Allen was calm, unlike these women. She walked to David and sat

on the ground next to David without making a sound. Everyone was

shocked; even Mr. Allen was shocked.

“Love, get up, you can't sit here like this,” he said in a low voice, but

she didn't care; she looked at David, who was sitting there like a dead

body without caring about the world; she put a hand on his shoulder.

“she is going to come back to you. She knows you will leave with her if

she leaves you now. Kate will fight with her all for you” her words

affected everyone.

David didn't look at her, but he asked in his hoarse voice, “is she? He

didn't believe it because his heart was not agreeing with her word;

these words are like sharp needles in his heart. They are ripping his

heart apart.

Mrs finally failed to keep the calm look on her face; tears sparked in her

eyes. She also doesn't know. For the second time, she felt someone

dug out her heart from her chest.

She felt like this when she lost her daughter. Why is she having this

again? Mrs. Allen rubbed her chest to erase this pain.

Everyone was looking at the red light of the operation cabin; the

hospital suddenly felt like a cemetery to everyone; their heart was stuck

in their throat. Everyone is waiting for Kate because if she gives up,

they will lose someone else with her.
