Chapter 401 * Who are you *

The face she wanted to see all her life, a face that made her whole life

a fairytale book, she finally understood who was crying, because the

person still had some tears stains on his face, her husband, her man,

her darling David Kate Xiver.

Kate raised her hand, she felt someone tied her hand with a heavy

stone, yet she raised her hand with too much difficulty, her hand fell on

David's cheek, feeling his warm skin, she forced a smile even though

she was aching all over her body.

Moving was like a mission to her, yet her pain felt nothing to her just

looking at his face; she finally came out of her dream, looked around,

surrounded her, was unfamiliar, where is she?

She repeatedly thought until she remembered everything, her wedding,

her kidnapping, gunshot, everything.

Her eyes soon stuck on David; she didn't look anywhere other than

him; Kate knows if he is around her, it doesn’t matter where she is.

She tried to turn back toward him, but she felt highly stiff; although she

was okay with her stiffness, she couldn't turn around at all. She tried to

push herself with her little strength, but her push was like a father.

She was out of breath because of tiredness; she took a deep breath

and tried again. This time, she successfully turned around. As she did,

she felt her giant stomach.

She was shocked; what's going on? Why did her stomach become so

huge? What's going on here? She screamed in pain because of her

difficult position. Her lower body and waist felt like they were torn apart,

yet her sounds came out like groans. She sounded was barely coming

out,

She looked around for her help, but no one was around who could help

her; she tapped on David's shoulder, but he was not moving; Kate felt

frustrated why David was not moving.

She looked around and saw a small toy at the bedside; she picked up

the toy and threw it down. Even though the toy was small, it made

some noise. The door suddenly pushed open from the outside, and a

stranger appeared there.

It shocked Kate to see the stranger; Aiden’s assistant looked at the girl

on the bed with wide eyes; he had never seen her open eyes.

But now, she seems ever more beautiful with her jade black orbs; his

whole body trembled with shock and fear. “M-M-Mrs. Xiver.” he felt the

entire world stopped for a second.

The air seems turned frizzy,

Kate wanted to ask what's going on and who is he? But she couldn't

hear the unmistakable sound, she hinted him with her hands; she

needed water and his help.

The assistant was in a difficult situation. He could understand she

needs help, but if he dares to touch her, master Xiver will skin him alive

but seeing her pale and painful expression.

He gritted his teeth and walked over to her; her belly was too big for an

ordinary person. He put on his gloves, grabbed Kate's shoulder, and

helped her turn over.

Kate finally sighed in relief; he handed her a glass of water; Kate drank

it. After a while, she could feel the relief in her throat.

She handed the glass back to him. The assistant took the glass and put

it aside; his eyes and mouth were remained open. He felt he just went

inside a horror movie, where a dead person became alive so suddenly.

His heart and mind were about to explode with shock and horror, yet he

stood there like a brave hero when Kate felt a little better, she looked at

the man, even though he was a stranger, she didn't feel any dangerous

vibe from him, especially since David was sleeping next to her.

“Who are you? She asked the man, the man cried out in shock, Kate

looked at him confusedly, what's going on, she just asked who he is,

why he cried for such a simple question.

He was practically pouring his tears out like endless rain; Kate freaked

out before she could ask what's going on. The man ran as if something

dangerous was coming behind him. Kate was speechless. She was the

unconscious one. But why did he act like he just woke up?

She was confused; she looked at David, who was still lying motionless.

Seeing this, Kate felt uneasy. The David she knows will never do this if

she calls him, no matter how deeply he was sleeping.

Fear rose in her heart; she touched his forehead to see if he had a

fever or not, but his body was average temperature. So, she called him

again, and this time she got the same result.

She called him repeatedly, but he was silent, tears sparkling in Kate's

eyes. She felt tired already.

Aiden’s assistant ran to his master; he finally found him in his secret

place; he was still talking to Robert and Derek when his assistant came

to him running like a crazy dog.

“Master, something happened,” he screamed at the top of his lungs;

Aiden’s heart turned cold. He looked at his assistants pale face; before

his assistant could tell him, what's going on,

He ran toward the villa, his assistant followed him. He thought his

master understood what happened, but who had thought his master

thought something happened to David or Kate.

When they entered the villa, he ran in airplane speed toward David and

Kate's bedroom; he pushed open the door with a thud sound.

He ran inside; the next second, Aiden’s assistant heard a shriek. He

thought it would be Mrs. Xiver, but his misconception broke when he

saw his master on the ground.

He palmed his forehead but felt a little happy because he was not alone

here to deal with this horror movie. Kate looked at both strange men

and glared at them “y-u, you” Aiden felt no word to understand the

situation, what's going on, Aiden, who was on the ground.
