“Something happened to my sister-in-law, and Daniel, Alex, Max, Aunt

Lin are missing with her. He gave us 30 min, and you know what he

would do if we couldn't find any trace about sister-in-law?

Robert had once witnessed what happened to David when Kate had

almost left them. If that happened again, that man would lose his mind,

David walked around and called Amy, who received her call “brother-in-

law.”

“Has Alex called you after leaving the house? David asked her

hurriedly.

“No, he left after getting your call; he said he is going to the mansion;

why? What happened? Amy asked casually; she thought Alex went for

some vital work.

When David heard her, his breathing had caught in his throat “call me if

he calls you,” David said.

Suddenly, Amy felt something was not right. “What do you mean,

Brother-in-law, has something happened? She asked worriedly.

David tried to keep his voice in control. “Nothing, just his phone was

switched off, so I called you. If he calls you, tell him to call me,” David

said.

Amy sighed, “okay, brother-in-law " David hung up and looked around

frustratedly,

Then he heard babies’ cries from upstairs. Upon hearing the babies

crying, David ran upstairs. Devin woke up and cried loudly; Destiny also

woke up from his endless crying noise.

David walked to the bed and carried the boy in his arms. “Shh, don’t

cry” he patted Destiny's head gently, but unlike other days, Devin kept

crying, his voice turned hoarse,

David kept wiping his tears, but his tears were like an endless pool,

rolling off from his eyes nonstop. Everyone had gathered around them.

Rose carried Destiny. Rose tried to take Devin from David, but the little

man turned his face and kept looking at his father. David's heart ached.

He didn't know what to do.

Soon, his phone rang. “Master, we found the car’s location,” his man

informed him.

When David heard it, he stood and kissed Devin's head. “Wait for

daddy, mommy, and Daniel will come home soon” He handed Devin to

Rose reluctantly and was about to leave.

The boy was crying his heart out, David looked at him helplessly, but at

that moment he couldn't do anything, so he had to leave.

“Lock the door and stay inside the mansion until I come back and don’t

leave Noah and Devin, Destiny alone, not even for a second” With that,

David had left.

Before he left, Robert sent at least hundreds of men to protect the

mansion and the people; all of them were from underground.

After David had left, Adam and Liam came to the mansion; after

hearing what happened, they went to the location where David went,

He kneeled and fearfully checked Max's breathing, which barely was

there. “Call the ambulance right now; he is alive; I want him alive!”

David yelled at his men.

People ran around, and soon they carried Max. He was unconscious.

David and Robert's people had searched the whole city; they closed

the way to go outside the city.

Even alert to the police, army, everyone, but no news came from

anyone, David suddenly felt his world collapse.

After searching for his wife and son for the entire day, he sat on the

roadside and looked at the night sky. The road was empty like his
