Chapter 532 * Memories....!

On the other side, in the vast bedroom, Kate felt she was in a dream,

where she was a little girl, standing in front of a garden and eagerly

looking in front of her.......

Kate felt a little curious, so she looked in the direction where her little

self was staring, at what she saw was a little boy in front of her.

Still, the boy was a little older than her. She was confused; she had had

no memories of her childhood; she thought she was too small to keep

the memories,

But now, at that moment, she knew she didn't forget them. She just lost

them after she woke up after the orphanage people rescued her from

the water.

She saw the little girl slowly walking to where the boy was carefully

picking fruits from the tree.

Kate followed the girl and walked closer to him. She was so small that

Kate felt she was a little cute like David had described her.

Kate closely followed to see what the little girl would do? The little girl

walked to the garden; what she didn't expect, she would knock into a

stone and fall on her knees,

The little girl felt pain in her knees, and she cried out; the boy heard the

cry and turned back when he saw the little girl was sitting on the

ground,

holding her knees, which were bleeding from the earlier fall, the boy

threw the basket he had in his hand and ran over to the little girl.

“What happened? Didn't I tell you not to move? Why did you not listen

to me, Grace? Are you going to refute me like that? The boy scolded

her like an older man, but the little girl didn't feel ashamed. Instead, she

giggled like she always does.

Kate walked closer to them and peeked at the boy out of curiosity, but

her interest turned into shock when she saw the boy's face. She felt like

she had seen this face somewhere but didn't know where.

She didn't know why the boy suddenly twisted his face when she was

still in shock. Kate felt he was looking at her like he could see her,

“Ahhh” Kate closed her eyes, and a few seconds later when she

opened her eyes again, this time it was so bloody messy in front of her,

she was standing in front clingers of the mountain, down below was a

vast sea,

The surrounding was so black that she could barely see anything. Kate

was always afraid in the dark. Now it was getting even more severe

because she was standing nowhere in horror.

When she wanted to go back, suddenly she heard muffled cries from a

little farther away from her. Kate could justify that it was the little child's

crying sound.

Kate searched around her and saw two children were facing a few

men. One was the little girl, while the other was the boy she had seen

with the little girl in the garden.

“Don’t touch her,” the boy yelled at the man with his all might. Even

though he looked like a goat in front of those scary men, Kate felt fear.

What were the small kate and the boy doing in such a secluded place?

And something warped her mind in one question. How did they come to

such a place on their own?

She felt despairing and wanted to help them, but she could do nothing;

when she thought these people might do nothing to them, one man

walked to them and grabbed the boy and threw him aside; Kate felt her

heart come out of her chest for a moment.

She thought the boy would cry out, but he didn’t; instead, he stood up

with his bleeding knees and looked at the man who grabbed the little

girl and hung her in the air. The little girl lost her voice from her endless

sob. She was so frightened that she shivered in fear.

Suddenly Kate felt pain in her chest, as she grabbed her chest and

looked at the man as if she wanted to say something. Now she knew

how much she had suffered in her childhood.

She looked around helplessly; where were dad and mom? Why were

they not with her? Why didn't they protect her and the boy?

Even though she already knew her father said she was kidnapped

when they were busy with the party.

Suddenly, the man raised a knife and wanted to stab the little girl; Kate

panicked. From her knowledge, she was not stabbed in her childhood;

otherwise, she would have a scar on her body, but she didn’t. So

instead, she just had a scar on her head.

She was thinking about what to do? Then she saw the boy pick up a

stone and throw it at the men. Even though he was just a boy, the hit

was not light. The man’s forehead bleeds immediately.

The man didn't expect such a hit from the boy; he suddenly threw the

girl to the ground and grabbed the boy. The boy tried to hit him, but he

was out of luck. A scary wound appeared on the boy's flawless face

when the man’s knife pierced through his treasure skin.

When the girl saw the boy was bleeding and the man was about to hit

him again, she bit on the man’s leg. The man looked down and hissed

in pain,

He angrily sprang his feet, and the girl rolled on the ground. She moved

pretty far and hit her head on a stone. Bam! Blood was flowing out like

tap water. Kate felt her hand and feet were getting cold from the

memories.

“No, no, Grace” the boy ignored his pain and screamed, seeing the

girl's lifeless body, he struggled and wanted to reach for the girl, the

man cruelly hit him, this time the knife went through his chest, and the

man threw the boy down.

Kate never thought when she lost her memories; she forgot such a

critical phase of her life; a boy lost his life because of her,

Yet she doesn’t even remember his kind of joke fate played with her.

When she thought both were over, suddenly two people appeared,

She didn’t even know them until they stopped before her little body.

“What a waste, check on her,” the woman ordered, and the man

squatted down and took her pulse.

“She is barely breathing,” the man confirmed. When the woman heard

him, she let out an evil smile. "Throw her down,” the woman ordered.

The man looked at her in surprise. “But Mia, you said you will let me

use her as a bargaining chip? The man looked furious this time. The

woman looked at him as if she was looking at a fool.

“Huh, do you think they wouldn't know who kidnapped their daughter

once she wakes up? Do you think she will accept you once her

daughter tells her it was you who lured her out of the party?

The woman's words made the man come back to his senses, and he

suddenly picked up the little girl's motionless body and looked at the

woman.

“You're right” with that; the man suddenly threw the girl down to the

mountain.

"No........" A scream enchanted the entire bedroom. The scream was so

loud that someone pushed open the door and entered when they heard

the scream.

When she saw the person lying motionless for two days finally waking

up, she wanted to dance in happiness. “Miss is awake.”

She ran back and went to inform everyone; Kate, who had just woken

up from a two days coma, opened her eyes, felt the light coming

through the window, eye-piercing. Still, she tried to keep her eyes wide

awake, even though it hurt her eyes. Kate looked around.

She hoped she might wake up in her home after her dream, but the

reality disappointed her, and she woke up in the most hated place.

She sighed disappointedly. She tried to calm her mind and think about

what happened to her when she remembered the memories.

She felt another part of her come back in her, and now she thought she

knew almost a third of her childhood, even though some things were

still blurry in her mind.

Still, she was thankful that she got something important from her

nightmare. But when she thought about her death plan created by her

closest people.

She felt nothing but disgust and hatred for them. Sometimes dearest

people were more disgusting than any harmful creature.

She tried to sit up but felt so weak that she could barely move her

muscles; she thought after a night she lost all of her strength, when she

tried again she still failed, the door burst open, and a few unfamiliar

faces appeared before her eyes.........
