Chapter 543 - Protect the people...!!!

CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife

"Why did you hide it from me? Kevin," Old madam burst into crying.

"Because I was too weak to face my enemies.” His answer left her in

an ocean of pain. She sobbed with a broken heart. This child found out

that she hid it well. She felt bitter.

She didn't do it for her; she did it because she wanted to save his life.

She had no choice, but she didn't regret it at all; if she had to choose all

over again, she would do it once again.

"Since you knew it, why didn't you ask me before today? Were you

going to hide it all your life if I didn't ask you?

Old madam Allen always saw him with open eyes; she always thought

Kevin was a carefree child; he was always like this, that's why she

never doubted him.

Kevin sighed, but the coldness in his eyes was still visible. "no, you

would find out about it sooner or later, but today’s event was too

sudden.” he said.

But his calmness was like a sharp pain in her heart. "Kevin, since you

know I did that, do you want to understand how and why? Old madam

Allen asked.

"I already know, grandma,” he answered again; he was very patient

when it came to handling matters that could blow anyone's mind.

This time she looked at Kevin in a different light because three people

only knew this matter, one was she, and another was Butler John,

Since butler John said nothing to her, that meant he didn't know about

Kevin's finding out about this matter. She also didn't tell him, only he

left, but Kevin never found out about this unless he said, Kevin.

"Kevin, how did you find out about it? She asked him in confusion.

"Grandma, how did I know it doesn't matter anymore? I already know,

and you don't need to panic about this, but grandma, I have one

request. Don't tell him yet; I don't want him to find out about this yet,"

Kevin said.

Old madam Allen was confused. "Why?" she wanted to find the right

opportunity to tell him. Today's incident was too sudden, and it took

them off guard.

"Because it's not the right time," he said with a cold smile. Old madam

found something amiss with Kevin, the aura he carried around him was

never before today, or she should say he hid it from them and always

faked his appearance.

He was cold and distanced himself from everyone. She thought it was

because he inherited it from someone, but it seems he did it because

he wanted to hide.

"Are you sure? Don't you blame grandma? After all, it was a huge

matter," she asked him in concern.

Kevin smiled, but his smile didn't reach his eyes, but he was calm, like

water. "I do, but not you. Don't you think I should blame someone else

because they were capable of protecting us?"

Kevin replied ruthlessly this time, and Old Madam felt Kevin was cold

toward his kin.

She hurriedly tried to defend that person. "Grandson, it's not like this,

don't blame....." when she opened her mouth, he closed it with his

heartless reaction.

He snorted coldly, “grandma, sometimes one reason should be enough

to protect the world, but if someone is dumb, a thousand reasons will

never have enough, so let it go; I don't need it anymore. I didn't get it

when I needed it; now I don't need it anymore because I'm strong

enough to protect the people I love." He laughed scornfully.

"But..” before she could say anything, Kevin looked at her with clear

eyes "grandma, I don't need it anymore, let it go.” he stopped her and

went to pack her luggage.

Old Madam Allen's heart ached to stare at his back, but she didn't

repeat it because if anyone had suffered, he was the person who got

hurt the most.

After packing, he carried out her things, went to his room, packed a few

things in his backpack, and went downstairs. When he came to the

living room, he looked at Robert, who was glaring at old master Allen.

The older man's face was pale, breathing with difficulty. But he didn't

bother to show any concern if anyone deserved to be treated by others

like shit; it was old Master Allen.

Because this man was the problem of everything, if he didn't encourage

his sons to compete against each other, they would not be where they

were.

Old madam looked at her with a complicated gaze, but no one noticed

it. Nate looked at his mother. He finally understood his mother was now

old; his heart ached,

but he didn't have anything to say because now he was stuck between

his blood and family.

Old madam hugged her son and patted his back. "Son, don't feel guilty;

mom is sorry that I couldn't give you a happy childhood, sorry that I

gave you a father who valued his twisted thoughts more than his son.

Don't blame yourself; I'm happy that you finally came back; I'll come to

see you sometimes." she knew her son was in pain; he might look

heartless, but he had a gold heart.

Kevin grabbed old madam Allen and helped her out. The old master

looked at his heartless grandson, who didn't even bother to glance at

him. He couldn't even stand on his feet. How would he walk out?

When he was about to shout at Kevin, Butler John grabbed his hand.

“I'l walk you out," John said without showing any sympathy; if not, he

was his master's only son, but since his young master didn't want to

see him, he would surely help him out.

Old master Allen frowned, but he didn't argue. He needed rest, and

Robert frightened him to the core. That's why he didn't dare to show his

temper anymore.

Nate's eyes were on his mother; he never looked at his father, not even

once. He wanted to keep his mother there, but the old master and Jack

would surely try to come there with an excuse for her.

But when he saw the arrogant fellow looking at him with a sneer, he

couldn't help but want to punch that brat. He didn't know why the way

that boy looked at him made him feel guilty.

Even though he understands it might be because he threw out his

family like beggars in front of him, whenever he thought the boy was

Jack Allen and Mia Smith's son, he couldn't bring himself to feel any

kindness for the boy.

After they left, the mansion became silent; Nate looked around with

pain; this is where his daughter came into this world; she grew up; she

slowly descended with her tiny feet holding his fingers,

This is where they celebrated Kate's first birthday, this is where they

started their family, but this was also the place where he lost

everything.

This mansion was like a sweet nightmare to him. Once, this house was

his home. Now, this mansion was nothing but a place of brick and

stone.

"Inform him we did what he told us.” Robert looked at Derek, who was

a silent audience for a while. Derek laughed. He took out his phone and

dialed a familiar number. Soon, the phone got connected.

"Done," Derek whispered. A soft response came through the phone.

"What should we do now? Derek asked.

"Drag Astor family in this mess." the voice replied coldly.

"Okay," Derek answered, and the person hung up.

"What he said? Robert asked.

"Drag Astor family in the Smith and Allen family mess." Derek laughed.

Nate frowned. That idiot sure knew how to cause trouble.

Kevin helped his grandmother in the car outside the mansion, but he

didn't climb in and closed the door.

Old Madam Allen looked at him, confused. “are you not coming with

us? She asked fearfully; she really couldn't understand what the boy

was thinking all the time.

"Grandma, I have something to do; I'll go to see you soon," he said and

looked at the driver. He didn't give his grandmother another chance to

ask anything.

Old master Allen frowned, but he didn't brood over it.

Kevin looked at the mansion behind him calmly and left without looking

back anymore.

"Who? An icy voice sounded in the darkroom.

"Black Wolf's leader, Robert and Nate Allen.” Rebel reported.

"Only they came? Are you sure David did not go to the Allens? The

masked man asked in doubt.

"No, Master, he is dead. Wouldn't it be a miracle if he came to the

Allens with them since they came alone? That means the news is true.”

Rebel believed David's death because no one succeeded in escaping

from that damn older man's grip, let alone since David himself walked

into the tiger den.

The masked man's eyes flashed a dark, cold glee, but he didn't dare to

let his heart believe it.

After all, their enemy was none other than David Xiver.
