Chapter 559 - Back to your throne...!!!

The video was about a man carrying a girl in his arms since the girl

buried herself in the man’s chest.

No one could see her face, but that did not shock David. Instead, the

man whose face shocked David.

Because he knew this man, and he never could forget this man. When

Kate had just given birth and returned home, he met this man outside

their house.

He was about to enter their home when his car bumped into another

car. When he saw this man, he wore a golden mask on his face to

cover half of his face.

Since it was just an accident, David thought little about this and told

Max to handle this matter since Kate was with him. So they went for

Destiny's regular checkup.

But David gave him a stare when he saw how that man was staring at

his wife and daughter with a burning gaze.

David was a very possessive man; he didn't like it when people stared

at his Kate, so he hurriedly drove away when he saw that man had no

intention of looking out.

Kate didn’t care about the other people as long as David and her

daughter were alright, she was angry, and the other party was reckless

for driving senselessly.

When she wanted to get off the car, David hugged her and left the spot,

but David always had deep memories about everyone who looked

suspicious.

Since that man left without making a mess, David thought he might be

afraid since he was guilty.

But now he knows that man was not thereby a coincidence. Instead,

that man was there for Kate.

David slammed the table again and again until he couldn't stop him

forcefully. Then, finally, David looked outside the window.

Suddenly, he couldn't breathe. Seeing the pained expression on

David's face, Kevin knew he was in pain.

“I'm going to kill him.” David stood up and wanted to leave, but Kevin's

words stopped him.

knows you're alive. Also, you should look at the entire footage other

than him.”

Kevin showed him the con about his sudden action.

“What do you mean? David asked,

“Did you see the girl in his arms? Whose shadow do you see in her?”

Kevin asked, hinting about something.

David didn’t care who the girl was, but he sensuously glanced at the girl

more carefully when he heard Kevin.

He might be a fool, but something stuck in him when Oscar was about

to enter the room.

The girl lifted her face and looked at the man seductively. That's when

David understood what Kevin wanted to say.

David kept repeating the footage until he was sure about this. His eyes

stared unblinkingly at the screen. Then, once he was convinced of his

heart, he opened his mouth.

“No, this is a fake; this person is a fake,” David said with a firm voice.

Kevin was shocked. He wanted to believe David, but what he saw was

not something he could deny. Every single pore in his body felt like it

was about to burst.

“Because I know.” David knew Kevin didn't want to believe him, but he

didn't want anyone to misunderstand this because God knows this was

not possible,

others might not know, but he knows this was something possible, not

even in the next life.

Kevin suddenly had doubts. Was it possible to be true to what David

said, or if David was too emotional?

“Don’t even think about this because this is impossible.” So he denied it

once again.

“Then what about this footage? It's not like someone could edit this.”

Kevin was coming up with an excuse.

"Because I know what he wants to do.” David didn't know to see it

again to understand what that man was trying to do.

Huh, since he fooled everyone once, does he think he could do it

again? No way, this time, he failed even before he could execute his

plan.

“It might be possible because he has your son.” Kevin suddenly pointed

out.

David stopped on his track. Hearing Kevin's words, he slowly

understood why Kate followed that bastard. That bastard knew Kate

would leave the world for her son.

That's why he kidnapped Daniel to take her away; Daniel was the key

to her submission to these people.

David couldn't tell what he should say. His heart was numb by this

thought. He was suffering, and now this news was chilly in his wounds.

It was burning his entire body.

Because of their son, she had to go through such pain because he

couldn't protect them as he promised. Because of his failure, she had

to step into an unknown hell.

David didn’t know if he could ever forgive himself for this.

David didn’t know how many wounds he would get until he got his life

back.

“Even so, this is something possible. When is the engagement? David

asked, suddenly throwing aside his impulsive behavior.

“The day after tomorrow, it seems your plan worked on the Astor family.

Now they are afraid their support will fall. Nate Allen did a great job

When David heard it, he knew why Kevin acted like that since he also

just do another favor.” David and Kevin talked for a while.

After David ended the call, He called Derek again.

Derek was with Nate since only he could handle the business matter

other than David; these two had the same mindset.

David didn’t need a word to explain what he was thinking to Derek.

Derek could guess.

That's why David always regarded Derek as his eldest brother. The

other was younger than him, and David was the one who protected

them.

While Derek always protects David under his wings, David and Derek

have a different bond that only they understand.

Derek could take things with a calm mind. But, unlike Robert and

Adam, one was short-tempered, and the other was childish.

Liam was mature enough to handle the family matters, but he was not

that strong to hold the enemies that David had over the years.

While Alex was in a coma, Aiden had to stay by Alex's side.

So David could only find Derek. He explained everything to Derek.

Derek felt the world was going in the opposite direction.

“So all along, we targeted the wrong person, damn it.”

He had the same reaction. If not for Kevin informing them about this,

they would fall into the Blood King's trap. All along, he was suspicious

about David's death.

If David appears at the engagement party or they take any action,

Blood king would push his plan ahead. Either way, they never could

find Kate in this life.

“Now, what do you want? Derek asked.

“Alert our men, even if they have to dig out the ground of an entire A

country, find my wife and son.”

David stood up. He had enough of the restrictions and rules of this

game. But, since he knew what Oscar wanted and how he wanted to

play this game, David would not hide anymore and wait for the

opportunity.

“David, we could be wrong; what if she...."” Derek wants him to think

about the possibilities,

But David laughed bitterly, stopping Derek in his mid words, “Brother,

do you think I can be wrong about this? Do you have doubts?” David

asked.

Derek suddenly felt he was awake because, in this world, anyone could

be wrong about Kate's matter, but Not David; since he had, he was

right, that means he never could be wrong.

“So, what are we going to do now? Derek was restless because Kate

and Daniel were their priority.

“Follow his location, find how he returned and where he was, the path

he had taken, everything about him. Don’t let anyone miss the mark.

Since he wants to trap my life and mislead us, I'll let him have the taste

of his own medicine.

He is just two days old. Does he think he can do anything just because

he was successful once?” Finally, David had enough of this.

“Then let's do this. Let's show him who is the king of this battle. Just

because you left your Thorne doesn’t mean you forget your way back

to the throne.”

Derek was always a calm-minded, violent person. He wouldn't get

angry quickly. But, once he did, he would be the most dangerous

person anyone should fear.

David and Derek made a plan. Even though they knew they were

taking risks, David knew he had no choice.

This was like finding a needle in a haystack. They couldn't find

anything, but they would not give up, even if they had to turn the entire

country upside down.

In the hospital, a man who had been lying in the hospital bed for

months blinked his eyes.

The sudden light was too much for him to keep his gaze on in the

morning for a little longer. He looked around and saw a girl sitting on

the couch with something in her hand.

He didn’t even blink when he saw the girl, even though he had

difficulties keeping his eyes open.

He thought he would never see her in his life again, but seeing her

made his little heart thump with excitement.

When his heart rate rose, the beeping machine suddenly made a

beeping sound. The sound got the girl's attention.

When she raised her head and looked at the machine with a sigh, her

attention fell on the man on the hospital bed.

She couldn't believe what she saw. The book she held fell to the

ground. She barely could keep herself from punching her face to

believe what she saw was true.

The man smiled at her; Amy jumped from the couch when she saw he

was awake.

She ran to him and touched his face. “I'm not dreaming, Alex; you're

awake.”

Amy cried, and Alex helplessly sighed at her reaction. He raised his

hand and touched her face. “It, it's ok.” he could hardly feel his throat

any more. It felt like dry wood.

“W*.. water,” Alex murmured, and Amy returned to her senses. She

turned and picked up the water bottle.

She poured water into the glass. Alex couldn't get up since he was

feeling weak all over. Amy raised his head and helped him to drink a

little water.

A little time passed, and Alex finally felt a little strength in him. He

suddenly pulled her and hugged the crying girl. "Don’t cry, I'm, I'm

okay.” Amy couldn't help but burst into crying.

These times were a nightmare for her, her fiance was lying in a hospital

bed, and her best friend and godson were nowhere to be found.

Her brother-in-law went missing when they thought he would come

back with Kate and Daniel.

Then news came that he died in an accident in M country. She couldn't

help but be broken by the situation.

Their hopes shattered, and everyone felt depressed. She had no one to

express her sadness.

Now that her man was finally okay, she couldn't handle it anymore. She

cried without stopping, and the nurse heard the sound; she entered.

When she saw the great screen in front of him, she screamed, almost

scaring Amy and Alex.

The nurse smiled embarrassingly and went running to inform the doctor

Aiden was present. When he heard the news, he came running. But

when he saw Alex smile awkwardly, his nose turned sour.

He cared nothing. After checking Alex's condition, he sighed in relief.

He almost thought Alex would stay for an unknown time; only Aiden

knew how complicated Alex's surgery was for him since Alex's injury

was in his head.

“Man, you frightened us so much.” Aiden couldn't help but vent his

feelings.

Alex smiled, then he didn’t care about anything and asked, “what about

sister-in-law?

He already remembered what had happened before he lost

consciousness, even though he could forget everything; he never could

forget where Kate looked at him with a helpless gaze before following

these people.

He tried his best, but he could. Then, someone hit his head with an iron

handle. He had felt he was about to die. He almost lost the hope of

coming back to life after going through that pain.

When Alex mentioned Kate, both Amy and Aiden fell silent, the room

surrounded by silence; the pain they hid in their heart significantly came

back.
