He almost lost the hope of coming back to life after going through that

pain.

When Alex mentioned Kate, both Amy and Aiden fell silent; the pain

they hid in their heart significantly came back.

Alex could tell they were hiding something from their expressions; he

was David's right hand over the years, so how could he not articulate

what they were thinking?

“Don’t tell me my sister-in-law is missing till now? Alex asked, sensing a

great fear in his heart; he was afraid of this,

Instead, he was deadly frightened for his master; Kate was their

master’s life; he once witnessed how David had lost his sense and life

after Kate was kidnapped and almost got killed by that bullet.

Aideen sighed; he couldn't hide even if he wanted to. “Yeah, sister-in-

Amy and Aiden jumped out of fright and surrounded Alex; Aiden

checked him and angrily roared, “stupid Alex, you stop thinking about

these matters, think about recovering well soon,

You don’t know what painstaking afford I had to use to keep you alive; it

was your master’s wish; how dare I refuse, yet you even appreciate my

effort?”

Aiden scolded Alex; it was already a miracle; waking up and still

returning to everyday life was already a blessing for Alex; even Aiden

didn't expect this since his wound was on his head.

Alex tried to calm himself, and Amy sobbed in sadness. She already

went through the pain of losing him once.

If she had to go through the same pain, she might lose her life hope

and end her life with him.

Alex patted her hand. "Don’t cry; I feel uncomfortable. It's okay.” Alex

tried to calm her down.

He could tell his girl had gone through so much pain for him while lying

like a dead body. So he owed her a lot.

He loved her with his heart, yet he couldn't be with her when she

needed him the most.

Alex hardened his heart and hugged the girl gently. Aiden coughed

awkwardly.

But it was okay for him since he was used to having dog food from

David and their sister-in-law, just thinking about the old days.

He felt it had been a decade since he had seen his brother David and

his lovely family together. Yet, their five buddies kept their calm

because they knew David's plan.

Otherwise, they would have burned down that old bastard’s kingdom.

The moment he had the guts to touch their brother, their brothers were

Alex knew he was being cruel to his girl, but he had something to talk

about to Aiden. He felt responsible.

He felt the burden because he failed to protect his master’s happiness;

he wanted to beg for forgiveness from his master,

But he didn’t want Amy to feel pain because of him anymore; the

moment he woke, he vowed two things in his heart.

One was begging for forgiveness from his master for his failure, and the

other was bringing Amy all the happiness she deserved.

Amy was not naive; she knew what he felt when he heard they did not

find Kate; he was feeling overwhelmed; Amy nodded and walked out

politely.

As she felt, Alex looked at Aiden. “Please don't hide anything from me;

tell me what happened while I was in a coma.” Alex asked seriously.

Aiden wanted him to rest, but since he refused, He told Alex everything

from the very first and till now what exactly happened to David and

Kate.

After hearing everything, Alex felt the nerves in his head thump with

pain, but he didn’t care; he was furious this time.

His heart ached for his master, and he could tell his master might have

suffered so much that even death would be better for him.

“So you're telling me they still couldn't find my sister-in-law? Alex asked

bitterly. In the end, they still couldn't find her.

If they would solve the problem with no difficulties, all solutions are tied

to their sister-in-law, as long as they couldn't find her.

They couldn't act recklessly since she was the most important, and

there was Daniel, the little boy who was just three months old, damn it.

“Don’t overthink; think about how to get off this bed soon; I'll keep in

observation another week, and then you can go home with your girl.

Amy held herself together for him.

Alex smiled bitterly, but there was a lot of happiness in his smile; yeah,

Aiden was right; after Aiden left, Amy entered.

Since Aiden was not present anymore, and he didn’t give any particular

order, Amy hugged the man tightly and cried, pouring out the

grievances she had suffered alone.

On the other side, Kate carefully listened to the surrounding noise;

everything was calm without any sound; she opened her eyes since

she couldn't hear anyone around her.
