Chapter 564 - A death wish...!!!

This bracelet would flash a light that could burn anything that came into

contact, that would alert the people. So she didn't dare to risk her last

chance of survival.

Kate hugged the child and took the path of an unknown road. She

didn't know where she was going or where she was; she walked for an

unknown moment.

The sky had already turned dark; she barely could see anything. The

road didn't have any light stands, and she could hear the sounds of

countless insects in the darkness.

The road looks like an immovable road. Kate didn't even see a car on

this road. What she didn't know was that her darling stopped all kinds

of contact and transportation arrangements.

Kate didn't even have shoes on her feet. Earlier, she left her shoes in

that mansion because if she walked in the shoes, they would discover

her by footsteps.

Her feet were bleeding after picking at countless sharp stones, making

her even more determined since she had already escaped that hell.

She would try with her life never to return to that place; now, she just

wants to walk toward her husband.

Kate finally saw hope; she saw the light on the opposite side of the

road; she crossed the road when she was about to go to that house.

She saw two men were smoking, leaning against the tree; they had a

bike with them.

Kate didn’t feel right about them. She didn't dare to walk toward them,

but they had already noticed her; since it was already dark, they

couldn't see her face, but judging by her appearance, they took her

beggar.

They walked to her; Kate took out the hairspray she had in that bag.

She tightly gripped it, and on the other hand, she tightened her hold on

Daniel.

The men stopped before her; they stared at her face. Then, when they

couldn't see anything, one of them flashed his phone light and held it in

front of her face.

When they finally noticed the beauty behind the dirty appearance, her

face might be a little messy. Still, her figure and appearance were

enough to trap their hearts.

Lust appeared on their faces. “wo ho, I thought you were a beggar; it

seems you're a rare beauty, huh?”

The man laughed excitedly. They were local and not rich, but their

characters didn't look decent.

Kate subconsciously took a step back, but two men surrounded her.

"Where are you going? Hey, beauty, what is this? Another man pulled

the thin bedsheet from Daniel.

When they saw the baby, who looked like a living angel, the boy was

staring at them with an unfriendly face. He rolled his round eyes at

them.

When the men saw the boy, “wow, it seems you're such a slut, you

already have a child; I thought you were a young girl who is yet to

bloom.” The man mocked her.

Kate was furious. They acted like hooligans, yet they dared call her a

slut. They are too much.

“Please step aside.” Kate wanted to leave with no trouble. She was

afraid, but not much because if they dared to mess with her, she would

just show them they had a death wish.

The man looked at the woman, who looked like a helpless child who

was trying to rebel against them.

“Pretty girl, since you look like this and are wandering around like a

bagger, you might have nowhere to go, so why don't you come with us?

We'll indeed serve you and your baby with our hearts.”

The man raised his hand and grabbed Kate's chin. Kate felt burning

anger in her heart; she felt like vomiting. His touch disgusted her, and

she jerked her head away.

“Wow, it seems little kittle is angry, bro; why don’t you help me hold the

baby while I carry this little kitten? Our night is going to be the most

beautiful.”

The man said with a wicked smile on his face. The yellow teeth in his

mouth were most disgusting. Kate felt nauseous just looking at his face.

Kate suddenly raised her hand and sprayed hairspray on their faces.

She got them off guard. Their eyes burned; they even felt they couldn't

open their eyes anymore.

“Shit, woman, you have a death wish.” But unfortunately, the hairspray

was not strong enough to prevent them from getting near her.

One man grabbed Kate's shoulder and tried to snatch Daniel; they

knew if they took the child away, the girl would follow them obediently.

They would show her the result of messing with them and punish her in

bed; Kate knew the situation was out of her control.

She knew she couldn't hold them or run away anymore. So she

grabbed the little bracelet from her son's hand and pressed it.

As she pressed it, the bracelet flashed a light, reaching the sky. The

light was so piercing that Kate had to close her eyes, and even she

used her hand to close Daniel's eyes.

These men were stunned; they loosened their hold and stepped back.

It colored the entire sky red as if a red moon appeared beside the half-

moon in the sky. Kate looked at the sign. She felt her messy heart

finally seeing the hope she didn't even dream of seeing until now.

“Hey, what is this? The men murmured in horror when they looked at

the woman in front of them.

“You better leave before you regret it,” Kate warned them. She didn’t

want to waste her time on them since she had already opened them;

she was not afraid anymore.

But she needed to wait; after all, she was nowhere near the city; there

wasn't even a house in that area.

These men tried to get closer to her again, but this time Kate pressed

the attack button, and something sharp pierced through the man’s

hand.

Instantly blood gushed out from his arm, a hole appeared in his hand,

and he lost his arm; he looked at the girl in horror. But this time, they

were not as arrogant as before. Instead, he looked like he saw a grim

reaper on that girl.

When the other tried to walk closer to her, Kate raised the weapon

again as they walked closer.

This time, these men were scared out of their shit because they had

seen the action of the thing she had in her hand.

The first man dragged the man who seemed to have lost his hand for

his life. They left before Kate could even scold them for being such a

coward.

She wanted to blackmail them into knowing where this was, but these

men were so cowardly that she didn’t have the chance before they left

with their tails between their legs.

She didn't know if she should laugh or get angry. Earlier, they were so

brave, yet the moment she took action, they left like a storm.

Kate looked a little farther away from her. She saw a little house which

she had seen earlier. She walked toward the house with the weapon

with her. She was not afraid anymore.

When Kate got near the house, she saw a small gate. She sighed and

knocked on the gate. At first, no one responded.

After knocking a few times, an older woman walked out with a touch.

"Who is it? The woman asked in a loud voice.

Kate felt excited; she saw the woman turn on the light when the older

woman saw a little girl standing in a sorry state outside their gate.

She walked to the gate and opened it. "Hey girl, what are you doing

here?” The woman glanced at Kate from head to toe when she saw the

baby in her arms.

She was stunned. It was far away from the city. What was this girl doing

there with a baby in her arms?

Kate felt like crying. She could tell the older woman was a kind person.

“Aunty, I had an accident. Can you please shelter us in your home for a

while? My baby and I will just wait for a while until my family comes to

get us?”

Kate knew and believed from her heart that someone would reach

there very soon since her husband said so. She knew it was true.
