Chapter 597 -

CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife

“Then I'll send my family over on Sunday to fix the marriage date." He

had waited for enough; he didn't want to miss another month again.

He looked at Rose with a smirk; Rose blushed; she didn't look at him

anymore; she knew what he meant by that lustful look.

David deliberately ignored his soon-to-be brother-in-law's flirting stares

and looked at Kate.

“I need to go to the hospital to see Alex. Can you wait for me at home?"

he didn’t want her to go there yet; they had just returned and left the

children alone, and he didn’t want that.

Since David knew this time he wouldn't give anyone a chance, that

meant he was confident.

He wanted to meet Alex; also, he had important work at the hospital,

but he didn't want to tell anyone about it because he was unsure.

Hearing Alex's name, Kate showed an emotional expression. “I want to

go with you, but I don't want to leave Devin and Destiny for today; I'll

meet Amy tomorrow; you can meet them if you have time; we'll be

okay."

She said she didn't want to drag her children to the hospital since it was

nighttime.

David nodded. "Don’t be afraid, Wifey; I will not make the same mistake

this time.” So he rescued her once again.

But he could tell Kate was not afraid at their home because she

believed her husband would never leave her alone if he were unsure

about his arrangement.

He took a remote “just press this once you notice something abnormal

at home.” David said with meaning.

“What is this?” Kate asked curiously.

David pressed the button, and a few eclectic systems appeared from

the wall and in every secret corner, but they didn’t take any action.

“Once they will reject unfamiliar people, they will act; you don't need to

think twice, even when I'm not at home; if you feel strange, just press it,

this will also alarm the entire mansion’s security.”

Since he was a master of using his brain, he decided to believe in

himself more than his people.

Because the people were too slow to react, but these will ruin the

enemies within a second.

Kate nodded; she also didn’t want to take any chances regarding her

children.

A man in his late 40s appeared. From his outfit, he looked like a chef.

David nodded at him and left for the kitchen. “He will cook from now

on,” David explained.

Kate looked toward the kitchen “is he a chef?” looking at the man’s

living figure, Kate felt something was wrong with that man, but she

couldn't tell what.

David smirked; it seemed his wife's brain became sharper after this

incident, which was good for her “yeah, he is not. He is someone who

can handle 50 people alone with no weapon.” David said without

keeping it a secret.

Rose looked at her brother. “It seems my brother turned our home into

a spy agency.” He arranged for people who could fight when needed.

Liam was amazed by David's thought, but it was also okay because

these people would come to help if one day they needed it.

“Also, I arranged a few female bodyguards, wifey; I know you don't like

it, but until I wipe off his presence from this earth, bear it, they will work

as baby nannies, but they will be secret bodyguards.”

David was fully prepared; he would never even give that bastard a

chance to grab his wife's shadow.

“Darling, it's okay; I understand,” she said.

Since Devin and Destiny were sleeping, and Liam seemed to want to

talk to Rose about their private matter, David carried Kate away, leaving

the adult to take care of the children.

After David and Kate left, Liam changed seats and caged Rose in his

arms.

“Rose, even I will try not to do what I shouldn't, but since my aunty is

the only daughter of my grandpa, I don't think they will not invite her;

she is a little twisted-minded if she dares to run her mouth, just let me

handle her,” Liam said helplessly.

He had already warned his mother, but even his mother was helpless

because his grandpa would bring her with him; that made him angry.

Rose knew what Liam meant by his aunty’s twisted mind, she knew her

birth was already a taboo in her life, but since Mrs. Jones had already

accepted her, she didn’t need to think about it anymore.

“It's okay. Do you think my sister-in-law will give her a chance?”

Rose has complete faith in her sister-in-law because their sister-in-law

could bear her insult, but when it comes to her husband and sisters-in-

law, she will accept no one pointing their finger at them.

Mrs. Jones had already experienced it and finally realized it was her

mistake; she wholeheartedly accepted Rose.

Liam also realized her meaning; it's not like he couldn't handle his

aunty, but when it comes to family, that woman has seven horns on her

head, and no one could refute her; at least Rose now doesn't need his

help to handle her.

He hugged her without caring about him anymore. “I'm gonna send a

betrothal gift tomorrow.” But Liam informed her he had already told his

mother and grandpa.

They don't have any problem with his decision.

Rose raised her eyes “how come I didn’t even get a proposal yet to get

a betrothal gift?” Rose teased him, but Liam only smiled with a hidden

meaning.

Seeing his silence, Rose was a little angry. Every girl dreamed of

getting a bouquet of roses and a ring.

She was depressed thinking about how she promised to marry when

her brother returned home. If she knew he would not propose to her,

she wouldn't even say this at that time.

Inside Nina's bedroom,

She locked the door tightly and dialed a call on the same number

where the message came from.

“Hello.” When the call went through, Nina got silent, so she broke the

silence.

“Hmm.” a cold and upfront reply came through.

“What does this mean?” This person has lost his mind; otherwise, why

would he send this kind of message so soon?

“Because the timeline I gave you has already reached the limit, now

you need to be ready to fulfill your promise.” The man’s cold voice

made her shudder with fear.

She broke into a cold sweat; this man was too strange.

It's been a few hours, yet he already knows her brother has returned.

“I need a few more days.” She said she needed time to consider her

decision when he gave her the condition.

She was in a hopeless situation. But, now that her brother had come

back, she wanted to seek help from her brother if he could find a cure

for Noah.

But before she could voice out, a cold sneer entered her ear.

“Huh, it seems Miss Xiver thought what I said was nothing but a joke;

even your brother searched all over the world,

He can’t find what you want; only I can give you that; he also knows

this.” Ace Welsh'’s cold voice frightened her.

What was more frightening was how he could read her mind even

though they were only talking over the phone; this kind of person can

be anything but merciful.

Nina tightened her grip on the phone. “I will let you know.” she didn’t

dare to think anymore and hung up; she leaned against the wall when

she felt she needed support to keep standing.

This man made her feel like she was prey captured in a jungle with a

beast; she never once remembered how she had met him that night or

how she made Noah with him.

She didn’t even see his face yet, but his voice shook her heart when

she couldn't even think how she would survive when she got to see him

for her son.

But she remembered his last words; her brother knows about Noah.

This made her even more scared; she was afraid; what if he was right?

What if her brother wouldn't even find a cure for her son?

Thinking about this, she walked out and went to the living room. She

needed to ask her brother; she wanted to hear it from her brother;

otherwise, she had to do what that man wanted.

When she saw Liam and Rose and the children, her eyes fell on her

son; she felt like the answer was even more apparent than before.

If David told her there wasn't any possible way to save Noah, then she

would go to M country even if she was afraid; she could shield her son

from the world,

But what if she couldn't save her son from the grim reaper?

As a mother, she would sacrifice the world for her son without a second

thought, let alone go to the living hell; she wouldn't think twice.

Otherwise, her life would be worthless.
