"Where are brother- and sister-in-law?" Nina asked when she first hid

her meeting from David; she had already caused mental torture for

herself, and she didn't want to keep it from them anymore; it would be

"They just went to their room; I think my brother went to change his

clothes to head to the hospital to meet brother Alex,"

Rose informed; she failed to notice the tension and helplessness on

Nina's face because she would never have imagined in her dream her

sister was facing such a life-death situation in just a few minutes.

Their brother and sister just returned, and their family reunited; who

Nina just sat with them but couldn't set her mind, so she went back to

her room and opened her laptop. She wanted to research the matter,

but nothing came to the search button; it was all blank.

This made Nina even more frustrated.

She just shut down her laptop with a thud; she walked to the window

and looked outside; the sky was clear, stars were sparkling far in the

sky, and the moon was shining so beautifully that Nina felt it lighten up

the entire mansion.

But why was her life so dark? She hates men; whenever she looks at

any man other than her brothers, she feels disgusted, no matter how

often she discusses it with her psychiatrist and tries to cure her

David went to shower; Kate was lying on the bed and looking around

on the headboard and swept her eyes around their bedroom.

She didn't want him to be late, but who knew that man would want to

reconcile their memories of their bedroom the moment he entered?

He said he would be quick, but an hour had passed before leaving the

bed. Kate smiled; it was not like she was complaining; she was already

happy; this was their bedroom where they had spent their married life

and created beautiful angles.

She spent so many awakening nights carrying their children when they

were little; she missed this bed and this room so much; this was where

she felt relaxed and comfortable making love with her man.

Because this was the boundary of their married life.

Rose was about to get married; Nina had already said she would move

out with Noah to the mansion David gifted her near the company, but

Kate didn't want that.

That's why she didn't move out. However, today she noticed Nina's

changing expression. She accidentally saw Nina hurriedly lock her

phone after looking at it, so she felt something was suspicious.

When she was in her thinking mood, the bathroom door pushed open,

and the man came out with a towel wrapped around his waist; he was

seducing her.

He came with a towel and walked towards her; Kate blushed because

she knew what he wanted to do, she tried to grab the towel, but her

man pushed away the blanket and pulled apart her legs.

"take a short rest, then take a shower; if Devin and Destiny wake up, I'll

let Nina and Rose handle them until I come back; as for Daniel, he will

be okay," David said. He had a hidden meaning in his mind.

Kate nodded; David cleaned her body and put the blanket back on her;

he leaned toward her and kissed her, "I'll come back soon.” He said

these words seductively.

Kate knew this man was warning her that she should rest now. He was

giving her a chance without caring about the children because when

the sun goes down.

She should give him time; for the daytime, he was pretty merciful, not

snatching her away from their children.

David pushed her head to the pillow, “sleep.” He kissed all over her

face and forehead and went to the closet to change his clothes.

When he returned in formal clothes, he saw his little bunny still peeking

through the blanket gap.

He went to the closet and took out his old phone; he opened it and took

another phone, and went to her side; he silently put down the golden-

colored phone on the bedside table.

He leaned over and hugged her “wifey, I'm going out, be obedient.”

He said he didn't want to leave, but as a brother, he didn't think Alex felt

his brother had left him all alone; also, something significant needed to

be discussed before he could make a decision.

David tucked her tightly and left the room after switching off the light;

Kate was also tired after the plane journey and his endless passion.

As she closed her eyes, she drifted to sleep in no time.

changed something else.”

Rose couldn't help but laugh at his miserable expression; who asked

Seeing Rose's mocking expression, Liam felt she was taking pleasure

David ignored him and told the chef to prepare some dishes and put

them on the table.

Since they had already had dinner at Richard's mansion, he knew no

one was hungry, but by chance, Kate felt hungry, so he told the kitchen

to prepare the food in case she woke up before he came back.

He checked the babies, and since Daniel also fell asleep, he felt

relaxed; he was most worried about his son. He hopes Daniel gets

better with their loved ones and that fear does not leave any scar on his

head.

Amy just served Alex dinner inside the hospital since the man became

clingy, and he didn't even let her leave the hospital, if not something

important, but Amy felt happy. Finally, he realized where her happiness

head.

But God showed mercy on her fate; didn't take him away from her was

enough for her. So then, in the cabin, suddenly, the door pushed open.

Standing against the bed, Alex raised his head and saw Liam enter. He

gave a gentle smile and opened his mouth, but his words stuck in his

throat when he saw the person entering after him.

Alex is always a formidable man when facing the world, but when

facing Amy, he knows his heart best facing this person.

He knows even if the world falls, this person won't hesitate to hold the

world for him because this person is a guardian angel in his life.

“Alex.”

Hearing this name, Alex felt he had passed the most challenging time in

his life, and the lightness wiped off the darkness.
