Chapter 604 - 21 years...!!!

Nina was stunned; she didn't think her brother would readily agree with

her sister-in-law; this made her even more anxious. Did her brother

hide something from her?

Last night, he said he would try his best, but now his tone was

something else, which was a little scary.

David felt her gaze on him. Last night he had emailed Aiden, and Aiden

sent an answer this morning.

He said the Welsh family was crazy nuts from the start, especially the

old master Welsh, to control his wife and his children; manic had built

something so secretive that no one found the thin ray of that thing.

He also told David to wait until he came to S country; he would scan

Noah's entire body to see if he could find a solution.

First, when David had done all the physical tests on Noah, they found

something wrong with him, but nothing more could be found.

So this time, he wanted to do it again to be sure.

Suddenly Nina grabbed her brother's hand nervously. "Brother." she did

not know what she wanted to ask, but she knew she couldn't do without

her brother.

David let go of Kate and put his one hand on Nina. "Believe in your

brother; even if I have to leave Noah to go back to the root cause of his

“Believe in your brother." Those were David's last words to Nina

because he knew, as a mother, Nina was already on the verge of

But he didn't want her to be a weak mother and a strengthless woman

who would be left crushed under someone's foot.

Nina nodded, she knew she could believe her brother with closed eyes,

but fate would allow her because this was about her son's life.

After the late breakfast, Kate carried Daniel, leaving Devin and Daniel

to Nina and Rose. She knew Amy might go crazy to meet her and

Daniel, but she didn't want to leave Alex.

So Kate wanted to take him with them, and David didn't refuse; David

drove the car, and Kate carried little Daniel in her arms.

She sat in the passenger seat, Kate always liked to leave the window

open, but since Daniel was with her, she didn't dare to because the

weather demand was not something she could deal with.

Since S country's weather was different from A country, it would take a

while to adjust to it.

David grabbed Kate's hand and drove with another behind him, and in

front of him, at least 15 cars were guarding them. He was not a person

with a show-off of the mind, but this was something he would never

ignore, even if people might overthink it.

Little did David already know the people were trying to stalk them, but

since his people surrounded him, they couldn't come near his family

even if they tried.

But he didn't care; the war he had wanted to fight would take place

soon; Kate looked at him and his frowned forehead. "Does someone

already know about us coming back home?" she couldn't help but ask.

David looked at her anxious expression and smiled to lighten her mood

"Wifey, do you think they can come to S country if I don't allow them?"

David gave her a direct hint.

Kate looked at her cunning husband. "So you want him here? But

why?"

Kate couldn't understand why he made such a decision because his

mind was too deep when playing with someone for life.

David laughed from his heart, his wife was a little naive, but it's like he

minds.

"Something or for someone." David didn't directly tell her. Instead, to

distract her, he asked her something.

"Wifey, you said Aunty Lin was there with you, so can you tell me her

behavior toward you or something that might have shocked you?."

David didn't directly tell her because he knew fake aunty Lin badly hurt

her.

When she heard this name, Kate felt someone respond to her wound,

which was covered up by great effort.

When she saw how aunty Lina helped these people, her first reaction

was shock, pain, and then helplessness, and it turned into hatred when

she needed help, but that woman just stood against her.

"She's not the person we knew; she became another person,” Kate

said through her gritted teeth, she didn't want to hate her, but her

actions cut her deeply.

David's heart ached for her; even though he didn't witness everything,

he had felt every bit of her pain because his heart was connected to

her, and whenever she was in pain, his heart would feel even more

significant pain of bitter life.

"Wifey, If I tell you she was never Aunty Lin but someone behind a fake

mask, will you believe me?" David glanced at her for a mere second

and said.

Kate halted her breath; she let go of the object in her hand and looked

at David with great shock, "what do you mean?" which was like a bomb

in her heart.

David already expected her reaction, but seeing her in shock, he felt he

should've waited until she calmed down, but he wanted to tell her

because he didn't want her to regret not seeing aunty Lin on her last

day.

David knows better than anyone; Aunty Lin barely has any soul in her

body, so he doesn't want Kate to miss this chance.

“Yeah, she was not who kidnapped Daniel and forced you; they already

replaced her even before we returned after our babies came to this

world." David tightened his grip on the steering wheel.

Kate looked at David with grief and pain; her expression had already

become stained because of David's words.

David wanted to hug her in his arms to tell her it was not her fault when

he saw her expression.

David did as he thought; he parked the car on the side of the road and

pulled her in his arms; since Daniel was sleeping, David didn't crush

him between their hugs.

"Don't be sad; it was no one's fault, even I didn't realize that since she

was with us for the last 21 years, they planned everything without a

hole since we were not present in S country.

That man took his time and planned mercilessly.” David didn't want to

take his name because he was already holding back to not ruining

everything.

"So she wasn't," Kate murmured, her hand shaking; she had strangled

that woman thinking she choked Aunty Lin.

She already could feel how deep her hatred was toward Aunty Lin;

thinking this, she was embarrassed to point out that she wanted to

return to the time and not hate Aunty Lin.

That woman gave them 21 years of her life, yet got nothing but

misunderstanding from them, this man Kate wanted to slap her brain.

David patted her back gently. "Don't blame yourself; my heart can't take

it. Otherwise, my heart will bleed.”

David coaxed her; he was right; no one knew about the replacement,

yet they hated her for doing something she wasn't even aware of.

Without even realizing they wronged their family members, which was

the worst feeling for David and Kate, they felt even worse thinking

because of some fake; they hated her.
