Chapter 606 - A pro...!!!

Kate walked up to Alex and seeing his wounds mark and fading

wounds, she felt sad. "It's been hard on you, Alex."

She didn't want to tell him he neglected himself and jumped in danger

because she felt a few people like Alex would risk their lives for their

master, which was already heartwarming.

So saying thank you or sorry would never compare to his loyalty.

Alex suddenly looked a little emotional, others might think he didn’t

care, but hearing this from Kate, he finally understood how much his

madam appreciated his effort, even when it comes to being loyal to his

master.

The entire world was on one side; his loyalty to his master was another

one, which could never be less even if he had to sacrifice his own life. It

was not loyalty toward a PA toward his master, but instead a brother's

loyalty for his sworn brother.

“Thank you, madam,” Alex said, nodding his head in gratitude.

“Get well soon; it's been so long since I enjoyed any wedding, I want

you to follow Rose and Liam; otherwise, how will I get my daughter-in-

law soon?” Kate teased the couple openly.

David looked at his wife as if he wanted to cage her in his eyes to love

her, so he let her enjoy herself for a while because he knew that hidden

behind this smile, she was in pain.

Yet her smile and happiness made them real, but he knew this was

only for her best friend and Alex, she was happy for them.

“Kate, can you stop teasing us, brother-in-law already did it last night; it

seems you and your husband are in a duo only to tease the poor us.”

Amy glared at Kate, but there was not any angriness.

She was just saying this to make fun of the situation.

“Wifey, how about Amy and you take Daniel to the hospital corridor? I

need to talk to Alex for a while.” David looked at Kate suddenly and

asked her with a gentle smile.

Kate looked at Alex ““don't stress this sick man; give him a little peace.”

Kate rolled her eyes at David as if saying don’t make an excuse as if I

don't know why you're doing this.

David laughed in a low voice, he really felt he had fallen in love, again

and again, every time whenever this little woman acted like a cute

bunny in front of him.

Amy looked at these two; she really couldn't take it anymore and

dragged Kate away; she also wanted to talk to Kate, but talking in front

of these two grown men would feel like she was balling the drum, and

she would've been bored to death.

Kate laughed; she followed Amy, leaving Alex and David alone. “I'll say

something; you just need to get along with my plan.” David's voice tone

had changed the moment Kate was out of his sight and turned cold.

Alex nodded, for following David's order, he would never question his

master, and this time it seemed his master was planning something

even bigger.

After a few moments, David finally ended his conversation with Alex

“can you do it?" David asked, looking into Alex's eyes.

Alex just smiled “master, I'm also your right hand; how can I not handle

such a small thing, even though I'm not completely healed yet, I'm 80%

okay now, so this is nothing for me but playing with a mouse.”

He said, as his eyes sparked with excitement, he got bored long ago

staying in the hospital, but now it seems his life would be full of

excitement again.

David looked at Alex with a hint of helplessness, he thought something,

but it seemed he worried for nothing, he thought he would have to think

again about giving Alex such a risky mission, but now he finally let go of

that worry.

“Okay, but don't take it too lightly; one should know our enemy can

differ from the surface, so don't take risks when you shouldn't; learn

from your mistakes,” David warned Alex because he didn’t want Alex to

take it too seriously.

He just needs to get along, not risk himself when things take place.

Alex nodded; he knew his limit, otherwise, this time, it won't be alone

Amy; his master would slaughter him with his cold words, which were

more frightening for him.

Outside the cabin, seeing Kate absent-minded, Amy was a little worried

“what happened, Kate, you seem thinking about something, you're

here, yet you're not, did something happen recently?” Amy couldn't

help but ask worriedly.

After what everyone went through, every little thing gives her scars,

fearing what was waiting next in their life, sometimes even little

abnormal sounds can give a mini heart attack.

Kate finally returned to her senses; seeing the anxious expression on

Amy's face, she gave a forceful smile “sometimes even what we see

with our eyes misleads us.” Kate said, not losing her composure.

But her puzzled words made Amy think if the recent incident

traumatized Kate, but Kate soon exposed her thoughts in front of Amy

after Kate finished.

Both girls were all in tears; Kate somehow controlled her emotions, but

Amy was even more guilty than Kate because Kate might get the

chance to ponder over the fake aunty Lin's betrayal, but Amy cursed

that woman every second these days.

After she heard Kate and Daniel's kidnapping was related to aunty Lin,

including Alex's situation, she wanted to rip apart that woman if she got

her hands on that woman; she even cursed that woman to die horribly,

Yet now that she knew that woman was really dying, she didn't even

harm an innocent, instead, she was the victim; Amy really couldn't help

but blame herself.

“I want to fall on her foot and ask for forgiveness.” Amy sobbed

painfully.

Daniel didn't know if he should cry or not; the way the aunty in front of

him shedding tears left him speechless; even though he was hungry

and wanted to cry, he didn't get the chance at all.

Now his mom was also in bed, so that little soul didn’t dare to cry, only

laid on his mother’s shoulder helplessly; he could only fuss when his

daddy was around.

“I also want to do the same, but she is not giving us another to mend

our mistake, Amy; she is leaving us,” Kate said, but she choked on her

voice.

When David came back after ending his conversion, he stopped on his

steps; he expected them to let out their emotions, not expected to

overdo it.

David walked up to her and hugged the emotional woman in his arms;

his son's eyes lit up seeing his daddy; he took Daniel away from Kate

and hugged her tightly.

“We're going to have lunch; why not join us?” His main intention was to

take Amy away from there so that it would be easier for Alex to fulfill his

duty.

Amy looked at David “but, it's already lunchtime; Alex needs to take his

medicine after his lunch; you can go; I'll join you some other time.”

Even though she dearly wanted to spend more time with Kate and her

godson, Amy didn’t want to leave Alex alone.

David looked at Amy. “I already asked him, and he said yes.” David lied

with a straight face, even though it was true Alex told him to take Amy

away until he finished his job.

Amy looked confused as to why his brother-in-law insisted on her since

they would feed her nothing but a full bowl of PDA, she didn't want to

be the third wheel, no fourth wheel in between these two; Daniel was

already the third wheel between his parents.

David looked firm, even Kate was confused; she thought he asked her

formally, but now it seemed something was cooking in these two men's

minds.

She understood so she looked at Amy. “Amy, I also want to share some

ideas about your wedding with you, so why not take some suggestions

from me? Who is already a pro”

Kate grabbed Amy's hand and almost dragged her away, Amy didn’t

have the chance to refuse the offer.

David followed his Wifey with his son in his arms; he could only smile,

he just said, yet she understood his meaning with no words, which

made his heart pound against his rib cage as he felt his love for her

touch the sky.

They didn't go far; David took them to the restaurant near the hospital;

they walked in, David booked a private room for them, and the

manager came to greet them.

The manager took them to the top floor. Daniel was hungry and won't

take formula, so the manager sent another female coworker to lead

Kate to another private room where she could comfortably breastfeed

Daniel.

Unknown to her, David walked to the window and looked outside; from

there, he could see the hospital; he took out a small finger size

telescope and looked into it.

After a few moments, he sneered in disdain and gave a smile that

would turn anyone into ice from fear.
