Chapter 607 - 0.1% chance...!!!

Unknown to her, David walked to the window and looked outside; from

there, he could see the hospital; he took out a small finger size

telescope and looked into it.

After a few moments, he sneered in disdain and gave a smile that

would turn anyone into ice from fear.

They thought they were hidden and secretive enough to play with David

Xiver, but now, they thought they were playing a game with his people,

yet they didn't know he had long spread a trap for them to step into that

net on their own.

He kept looking into the telescope for a while, but he stopped looking

when he heard the sound of the door clicking; he put the telescope in

his pants pocket and looked at Kate, who entered with an energetic

Daniel in her arms.

David didn't look back anymore and walked to his wife and son; David

hugged the little woman and took Daniel from Kate; he pulled the chair

for Kate to sit down, all while Amy just sat there like an obedient girl

and rolled her eyes.

Isn't that why she didn't want to come here? To eat PDA for free, even

though she was happy to eat in such a luxurious restaurant, she was

not pleased to forcefully eat PDA between them.

But her luck was worse that day.

Kate sat down, and David put Daniel in the child chair the manager

arranged for the baby; he lay on his chair and played with the hanging

toy in front of him.

David ordered steaks since Kate liked them very much, but it was well

done. Also, she likes it because of their special sauce recipe.

He ordered Golden Phoenix Cupcakes for Kate and chocolate cake for

Amy since Amy didn't dare to eat because she felt the food's price

would haunt her like a nightmare.

But Kate has no problem living with David; she is already used to the

current lifestyle and slowly changes her mind. It's not like she forgot her

past roots, but living with a man like David Xiver was enough to give

her the best of the world.

She was used to her current life, so she didn't even feel regretful and

enjoyed her food thoroughly. David was happy to be her helping hand;

he picked up the steak and cut it into pieces for Kate, still not satisfied.

In the end, he picked up the fork and fed her. Kate didn't hesitate to

open her mouth and chew the juicy meat deliciously.

After she was done, David put the Golden phoenix cupcake in front of

her, and she enjoyed it well.

After they were done, David picked Daniel up and led them out of the

restaurant; since they used masks, no one recognized them; Amy

observed Kate and David's black masks and laughed.

"Even though I understand Mr. and Mrs. Xiver are more important than

any prime minister, you two had never used masks before; what

changed suddenly?" Amy teased Kate; she thought they were using it

for fun.

When Kate heard her question, she wanted to facepalm her face, Alex

was a cunning man, yet she didn't have a compact mind to understand

why they would use a mask if something were going on.

Was there any reporter daring enough to follow David Xiver and his

family? The answer was a no.

"Amy, my first piece of advice is for you to stop believing everything you

see and try to see what is not in front of your eyes. Otherwise, it will be

hard on Alex.

We, wives, can be the best supporters or a burden; now choice will be

yours." Since she married David, she stopped believing in other people

and started thinking about the situation.

Kate's words hit Amy like thunder because she believed everything she

saw with her eyes. She looked at David.

David's blank expression was something she was used to, but there

was a trace of pride when he looked at his wife.

She couldn't understand until they were standing right before the

hospital, and something clicked in her head.

Even though she didn't know what was going on, she knew something

was happening while sitting there with her naive thoughts.

"Brother-in-law, have something going on in the hospital? That's why

you took us out of the hospital?" she asked heatedly; she was

confused, yet she wanted to know because her heart was shaking in

her chest.

Alex was alone in the cabin room.

"It's not something Alex can't handle; he is not alone there." David's

simple words caused Amy's mind to blow away by shock and

realization.

She looked at Kate "you knew all along?" she asked, finally realizing

how Kate suddenly changed her mind when David asked her for lunch.

Kate nodded "don't worry; even Alex is inside; I believe my darling will

never leave him alone for anything dangerous.”

Before anything, she believed David because once she said if he

needed to kill someone, she would hand him the weapon. If he kills

someone, she will wash the blood away.

She never once questioned her promises; she never once forgot them

because whatever he did, she would stand side by side with him so that

he would never feel weighed down or overwhelmed by the thought of

loneliness.

Like he wants to and would protect her from the cruelness of this world,

she also wants to shield the world's evilness for this man because this

is where her heart belonged; for this man, she will sacrifice the world

with no second thought.

So how could she not understand his body language? She didn't

necessarily have to be familiar with what was playing in his mind, just

like what he sensed in his heart.

"Because we don't talk; we just feel each other, Amy; we just didn't tie

by marriage; we tied our relationship with heart."

Kate said to Amy, but her eyes were on the man standing before her

with their son as he was carrying her entire world on him.

Her eyes gleamed even brighter than the stars in the sky; she could

only see him in her eyes, a smile playing on her lips as if showing him

how much his presence meant to her.

She would jump in the fire pit again and again for him, so bearing the

same darkness as his path was nothing to her.

David's eyes had the same light; it was even brighter when she entered

his life strike of lighting; he thought he had enough happiness in this

world,

Yet with each passing day, he understood getting her love and

possessiveness would never be enough for 100 lives; one was too little

for him; he wanted this woman to be possessed by him for 10000

years.

He walked to her and kissed her hair; if not for his son and Amy, he

would take her in his arms and kissed her until his and her breath

wouldn't mix in each other's lungs.

Amy was a little taken aback by Kate's love and possessiveness for

David; she used to think David Xiver was already out of any ordinary

man for wanting a woman to that extent.

Yet she never thought Kate's love would turn into possessiveness in

just a few months.

Yet Kate's words taught her that if you want to love someone, love them

extant where you couldn't even think about anything other than that

person.

Because loving someone yet not feeling endless possession for that

person, you have second thoughts about love.

Kate looked at Amy's expression; it seemed her friend was a fast

learner.

"Don't question him; look into his eyes and give him your trust; if he is

the right person for you, believe me, you will live like a real queen in his

heart.

A woman who owns a man's heart in their life doesn't need a crown to

be a queen; look into his eyes,

And you will know your worth; the world will show you the truth with

their envy," Kate smirked at what she said from her experience.

Once, she was a girl with nothing, not because she was living a poor

life, but now she was a woman with a husband and three angels

because the man found her from billions and made her the owner of his

life.

An accident occurred by chance because of the destiny of Kate and

David Xiver, there was a 0.1% chance for them, yet He didn't let go

because he wanted her and only her.

Love shouldn't be like, if I had the chance, love should be like yes, I

want this change in my life.

David searched for this chance endlessly; that's why they became

destined.

David Xiver not only searched for her, but he also created a new path

for them to walk toward the future together.
