Chapter 635 - 000.1% chance...!!!
CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife
Oscar would never foolishly break in just because he was in a hurry to
take Grace Allen back; he had to wait for her so long just because of
David Xiver.
Now he could wait a little longer; this time, he would take her away from
the world.
But does even Oscar know just because he could take her once
doesn't mean he could even touch her again in this life?
David Xiver made a mistake once in his life, but it doesn't mean he
would make the same mistake again his entire life.
But for Oscar Astor, it was a golden opportunity, but unfortunately, an
opportunity missed told it was gone for life, no matter what others
regretted about it.
No one would be foolish enough to stay fooled when such a
tremendous blow awakened them.
David's life doesn't lie in himself; his life was into his life, even if he has
to trap the entire world to protect his own life.
When the time comes, Oscar Astor would be another example of why
one shouldn't mess with David Xiver's wife because if one goes against
David Xiver, he will let his wife slide without a second thought.
But if they dare to think about his wife, then don't even think about
living in this world with their heads; he would tear off their heads from
their bodies.
He let Oscar Astor jump around because he had something to find out
about; he didn't want to be wrong about this matter; after all, he owned
that person who had saved his wife's life when she was on the verge of
death until they completed his investigation.
He could bear it if Oscar Astor jumped around them like a frog for a few
days, but he couldn't make a mistake about this matter at any cost
because he was not someone who could judge a book by its cover.
He knew there was something no one, even a single soul, knew about
it, but that doesn't mean there was nothing; since there was a scar,
they were a wound once.
David went to the security room and looked into the camera near the
car; he saw those dark eyes looking into the camera as if he knew
David was watching him, then he gave a sinister smile, which rebuked
David's hatred.
But David was calm because he knew the ant learns to fly when they
want to jump into the fire. Oscar was like an ant in his eyes; just
because David took a bite once doesn't mean he would let the ant bite
him again.
"Let's meet soon," David murmured with an evil smile that made him
look like a grim reaper; if Oscar had seen this smile, he would forget his
existence in his entire life.
Oscar and his men left the position, and in no time, they were nowhere
to see as if it was not even there a minute ago; if not for David's
cunningness, he would have praised Oscar's intelligence.
But too sad David was still a few steps ahead of Oscar Astor to over-
smart him, but he was not someone who would oversee his enemy's
intelligence.
David walked out of the security room and looked at his men "if a single
soul enters without permission, just deal with it by rule; no need to
show mercy, even if it is a ghost or human." He coldly ordered and left.
The man nodded behind his master, but the excitement on his face was
nowhere to be seen. He liked this side of their master. He was the
leader of his team in Black Dragon.
He grew his wings in Black Dragon. He wanted excitement, and
calmness was not something they liked.
But since the master left A country, they had to hide for years even
though they were born to stay in darkness, but when their master finally
called them one day, they flew over S country in no time, and now they
were staying close to their master once again.
This was genuine happiness for them.
David returned to his wife and children without knowing his men's
thoughts. Otherwise, he would palm his forehead from helplessness;
they were too wild to stay in the south mansion, but what he could do
better needed to keep them close to the South mansion.
On the other hand,
Back in A country, they had no choice but to take the old madam Allen
for an operation because of her sudden heart attack.
Her heart's blood vessels have become blocked, and she now can't
supply enough blood to her heart, so if they don't take her for an
operation, her life will be in grave danger.
When they needed permission for the operation, Nate Allen stood up
and went to sign the consent form.
He didn't hesitate or bother to inform old master Allen because the
moment his mom fell into this state, he decided not to forgive that man
or give him a chance to get close to his mother.
It already bore his mother enough pain in her entire life, and he would
allow no one to hurt her once she got her life back because he was not
even sure if his mother could get out of the operation table alive.
He looked at the consent paper in his hand and then at Aiden. "How
sure are you about this operation?"
His heart bled when he asked this question because the person lying
on the operation table was his birth mother, who sacrificed her
happiness only for him, yet he neglected his mother for his grief and
pain.
Guilt and regret almost made him go on anymore, if possible he wanted
to change his life for her, and that's why he couldn't help but ask this
question; he was afraid once they closed the door of the operation
room, his mother would never open her eyes again.
Aiden looked at the man who stood in front of him with a mountain of
pain in his eyes.
He wanted to console him but found no words because it would be a
white lie if he said there wasn't any danger in this operation; what made
it even more difficult because of old madam Allen's age?
âI don't want to disappoint you by saying the percentage of her
survivable chances, but I want you to say if there is even a percentage
of chance of her getting through this operation,
I'll take it because brother David wants me to keep her alive. After all,
our sister-in-law, princes, and the princess met their great-
grandmother.â
Aiden twisted his words because he didn't want Nate to know since
David strictly refused to give his father-in-law any more shock.
His father might collapse even before his mother could make it out
through this challenging time; sometimes, hiding is the best choice, and
a doctor's words could break someone's confidence.
Nate nodded; he was no fool to know what Aiden wanted to say; he
wanted Nate to believe in the Lord; if there was a chance, or if she had
a lifespan left in this world, his mother would make it, even if there was
a 000.1% chance.
Nate took the pen, signed it, and handed it to the nurse, and Aiden
nodded and went into the operating room; the doctors entered, followed
Aiden, and the nurses closed the door behind them.
The thud sound straight hit his heart; unlike him, Kevin stood beside
him like an immovable pillar, he was sad, but he knew it might be a
second chance for old madam Allen to get rid of her past pain before
she left.
Unlike other women, he had seen his grandmother; she stood firm
when he needed him and supported him and his father through thick
and thin.
Now he knows it was because his grandmother, his father, kept in the
dark because his grandmother kept tabs on Mia Smith and Jack Allen
for them, so they found no chance to trouble them in their life.
And it was she who helped him to get strong and succeed in his path.
Kylie hinted at Kevin to push her closer to Nate; Kevin had no choice
but to move her closer to his father.
As he left the side and sat on the other side of the bench outside the
operating table, he had yet to come up to accept Nate's existence in life
unconditionally.
He also gave his parents some space since he knew his father needed
his mother's support to go through this time.
Kevin closed his eyes and thought about the time he had spent with his
grandma; only she was with him when he needed her, but after he
turned ten and discovered everything, his first mindset was how to get
stronger.
At age 10, other children played with toys while he played with guns
and studied the world's reality. Then, since he had a tricky mind, he
gambled on his dream and life and became the boss of thousands of
people.
No one even imagined how a young boy like him would become the
master of a team that could shake the underworld. Yet, he wanted to be
stronger, more potent enough to protect his sister and mother,
but he never once thought another person also needed his protection;
he stayed with her under one roof, but he never had the chance to
know how deep she hid her wound.
Now he was regretting not knowing her as deeply as his father.
Kylie grabbed Nate's hand, and only then Nate looked at Kylie; the
moment he looked into her eyes, he broke down; he sat back and cried
in her arms.
"She gave everything away because of me, and now she is lying inside
because of me; what should I do? Love." Nate felt he got his life back,
but now he was losing his root for life.
Kylie rubbed his back and tried to soothe his pain a little, even though
she knew it was impossible,
"Darling, we should stay strong for her; I'm sure mom will not leave until
she sees her next generation; she fought against destiny for 45 years;
she will not give up so soon; she will come back to us, just pray for
her."
Kylie was giving him strength, but deep down, she had no strength.
Nate lay on her arms until he felt tense; he raised his hand and saw her
breathing heavily; the moment Nate noticed it, he felt the world turn
black and white; he stood up and grabbed her, and leaned her body
against his.
"Darling, what happened?" When he screamed, Kevin, who was sitting
far away from them, heard it.
He didn't take a second and ran to her when he saw her pale
expression; he grabbed her hand, and only then he remembered he
had forgotten the medicine he had carried in his suit pocket.
He stood up and found he had taken his suit in his car; his expression
turned ghostly; he took out his phone and called PA Wyatt, who was
outside the hospital with their men guarding the hospital entrance.
When he saw his master's call, he didn't take a second and received
his call.
He heard one sentence "what the hell is my suit? There is medicine in
my suit; get it here now.â PA Wyatt heard desperation and helplessness
in that voice.
Nate raised his head and looked at Kevin with the same painful
expression "what medicine?" he asked since he knew nothing about it.
Kevin looked at his mother, who was breathing heavily because she
was having difficulty breathing.
She needs to take medicine every 6 hours. So now it's already over 6
hours; that's why she is having the problem again.
Nate's expression turned wild, "and you left such important medicine in
the car?" Nate asked Kevin, but it was more like an angry growl.
