Chapter 641 -

Old master Richard came to Kate and David; he raised his hand and

stroked Kate's head. “Girl, you did great; that old man’s daughter was

spoiled rotten by his wife and him; she needed a life lesson.”

He didn’t support any side, but he was happy with Kate's action; this

girl loved David's sisters as her own.

These girls grow up without their mothers, but it seems god has sent a

tree to protect them from this world's cruelty. The world needs a wake-

up call sometimes; Kate was vital to do that.

Kate nodded, she didn't want to go to that extent, but when she

questioned Nina's character indirectly, she lost it.

“Yeah, Olivia has been too arrogant since childhood, so it was better for

her to show her place.” Mrs. Richard was also hurt by Olivia's words,

Nina and Rose were such good girls; they didn't deserve this.

Richard's family left after they had a short conversation with David;

Adam looked at his sister-in-law “Little sissy, you rocked today, huh,

eying our bro. Does she even see her face in the mirror? How dare

she?” Adam was still bitter about how he couldn't throw a few punches

at the mother and daughter's faces.

Kate smiled, “It's okay, Adam; I'm sure she will see now.” Kate

comforted him.

Adam laughed when he realized what Kate meant; Nina lowered her

gaze like a guilty child; Kate grabbed Nina's hand and raised her head,

holding her chin. “Don’t lower your head because if you do, people will

dare to look at your child with your heinous eyes.” Kate looked at Noah.

If possible, she would hold the sky for this child; she was her first baby.

Nina realized what she meant; yeah, if she lowered her gaze, people

would seal her son's fate, but who would decide it for her and her son?

“I understand, my sister-in-law.” She didn’t want to thank her sister-in-

law because thanks were for an outsider, and they were family.

Kate nodded, and David grabbed her hand and took her to the car.

“Come with me somewhere,” David said with a smile.

Kate raised her eyebrows because she thought they were returning

home since the party was three days away and they needed so much

preparation.

“I have a surprise for you.” David smiled, but there was a gentleness in

his expression.

Kate looked at Nina and Noah, Alex and Amy, and Adam grabbed the

little boy “sister in law, we're taking them with me.”

“I'll drive Amy back to her parents.” Alex wanted to converse with Amy's

parents about the wedding preparation. Since Amy was their only

daughter, they also had desires and wishes about her wedding; since

the wedding would be held in Xavier's mansion, he needed to explain

the situation to them.

David and Kate nodded; Kate kissed Noah's little cheek “go with uncle

Adam; we'll go home soon.” Kate said with a smile.

Noah nodded and said bye; David led her back to the car, but this time

he took another car which was his usual car which his bodyguard drove

since he didn't want anyone to follow him, and closed the door; he went

to the driver seat and drove the car on the road.

“So, is the surprise?” Kate asked as she leaned toward him; David

observed her sneaky action but stayed expressionless.

“If I already told you about it, would it still surprise me?” David replied to

her blandly.

Kate made a sad face. “Darling, you shouldn't play so secretive with

your wifey; it's a bad habit,” Kate complained as she leaned on his

shoulder and poked his chest.

David laughed as his entire body vibrated, Kate opened her mouth and

bit on his shoulder “stop laughing.” She said, but she was not angry

about it. Instead, she was happier to see his smile every moment.

“Oh really, but from whom did I get this bad habit? I have to think about

it.” David said with a smile, but he didn't stop her but kissed her lips

when he got the chance.

Kate pouted her lips and leaned in front of his face “you shouldn't be so

sneaky.” saying that, she kissed his lips and returned.

David wanted to show her how sneaky he could be if she wanted, but

something important was waiting for them.

“I'll show you the sneakiness of mine when we return home.” David

winked at her flirtatiously.

Kate's face turned red from shyness; he was way ahead of her when

talking like a playboy.

David's entire body was on fire when he saw her cheeks turn red from

shyness; he couldn't help but stop the car in the middle of the road,

grab her head, and pull her near him.

Kate was stunned, but soon her shock turned into surprise when she

felt his wet lips on hers; David sucked her lips, the world’s most

delicious sweet, and put his tongue in her mouth and searched every

corner for the same sweetness.

Kate grabbed his collar in a fist; this man never stopped to surprise her,

they were in the middle of the road, and he didn’t even care about the

surroundings and just drowned him and her in the passion of their love.

He stopped when they heard a sudden knock on the car window, David

came back to his senses and let her go, and looked at her lips which

had been sucked and bitten by him, and now it looked so delicious that

he wanted to taste it again, but the knock on the window got intense.

David wiped off her lips, adjusted her hair and face gently, and leaned

back; Kate looked at his face; he had lipstick on his face; before she

could wipe it or say he should wipe it off, he pressed the button and

opened the window.

A policeman was looking at them angrily “park on the side and show

me your document.”

The police were beyond angry because it's been over 10 minutes since

this car was stopped in the middle of the road and he had to call a few

times when they finally opened the window.

David frowned, but since he was in the wrong, he took the car to the

side and parked it.

The police didn't see David's face carefully since he was on the other

side, he saw a beautiful woman sitting in the car, he thought they were

doing something inappropriate in the car in the middle of the road.

He went to the other side, “open it.” he didn’t want to waste his time on

a woman. So David opened the other window and looked at the police.

“Show me your document.” The police ordered coldly. David looked at

the card but found the document was not in the car.

He sighed; it seemed things were going to be troublesome.

“I don’t have the document in the car; you can find me for it,” David said

calmly; since they were wrong, they could do nothing about it.

When the police heard he didn't have the document, suddenly, his gaze

became suspicious. From the car, he could tell this car was not

ordinary, and now there was no document.

This was a suspicious matter. “Sir, either you show me the document,

or you have to come with me.” The police had already decided that this

car was either stolen or something else.

David showed impatience on his face; he turned to look at Kate “stay in

the car; I'll solve this.” He didn’t want these people to look at his wife

with judgmental eyes.

David stepped out of the car; he was about to say something when the

police opened his mouth “Miss, you also have to come.” The police

assumed the man and the woman were not good people and this car

was not there.

David's eyes turned cold. “It's already enough. I'm going to explain the

situation, don't drag my wife into this matter; she will stay here.” David

said patiently that he didn’t want a mess in there since they were at

fault, but sometimes people take good intentions into guilt.

The police officer shook his head. “She is also with you; until you show

us the document, we have the right to take things into our hands. Also,

we have to check your car.”

The police officer was new to his post, he came from another city, so he

had no idea he was directly trying to jump into hell.

David closed the car door and locked it with the key “my men will bring

the document; until then, You are not allowed to act on your own; you're

still standing here because we were wrong to break the rule, and it's

your duty, so don’t cross the line.” David is still trying to be polite.

But the officer's next words broke his patience limit. “Now we have to

check your car for sure.” The officer thought David was trying to hide

something.

David stood in front of the car and looked at the officer “my man is five

minutes away, wait.” He told his men not to follow them closely and go

to the place, but who knew what this mess would cause?

Kate looked at David; she sighed; she couldn't help but scold her

husband in her heart; she would indeed lecture him to control himself

from now on when they are outside; otherwise, who knows what mess

it will be next time.

The officer frowned, “Okay, but show me your id.” He asked.

David took out his wallet, took his id, and handed it to the police. David

checked it and handed it back. “Okay, let's wait.” The police waited, and

in just 5 minutes, four same cars sped up and stopped in front of

David's car.

The men hurriedly stepped out and bowed in front of David; when the

police realized he might not be an ordinary person, he felt a little afraid;

thank god he didn’t go overboard.

Bodyguard went to the officer and took him to the side. When he

learned from the police what had happened, he couldn't help but look

at his master, who looked arrogant. He seriously stopped the car in the

middle of the road for so long yet didn't have the document.

His master surprised him.

David's bodyguard showed the document and explained everything;

after knowing David's identity, the police looked even more afraid and

handed back the paper; he just fined them and let them go.

David returned to the car; Kate looked at his expression and couldn't

help but burst into laughter. “Darling, let's be serious from now on; no

flirting.” Kate teased David.

He looked at her playful expression and rubbed her with a smirk.

“Then don't seduce your darling next time.” He replied as it was her

fault for seducing him in the middle of the road.

Kate pouted as if he had wronged her. “I'm innocent.” she protested.

David looked at her as if asking, why don't I see any innocence in these

eyes? Kate was speechless.

Kate didn't mess with him anymore; what if he did something again in

this fear? The car finally stopped in front of a hospital.

Kate looked outside; it was the same hospital Aunty Lin was admitted

to; her heart jumped; no matter what fear would always jump in her

heart when she thought about aunty Lin's condition, she might forget it

for a while, but it always comes back to her mind.

“Did something happen to Aunty Lin?" She looked at David, and David

looked into her eyes, which showed fear in them; he sighed; aunty Lin's

matter left a wound in her heart.

“Nothing happened; we're here to meet someone else.” David got out

of the car and opened the door for Kate.

Kate felt uneasy; the hospital and police station were not some places

people should come for a surprise.
