“Mia Smith, do you think the Smith family still exists in A country or

anywhere in this world?” David asked like he was making a joke, but

Mia and Issac already understood what he meant.

Their souls left their bodies; Isaac never thought karma would bite him

so hard that he would forget the world and only remember the sin he

had committed.

Being the master of the Smith family and Mia Smith's lover, how many

lives he had ruined and how many lost their lives, he felt all the

memories come to haunt him, making him think to go crazy with this

thought.

“You bitch, you knew Grace was David Xiver's wife, yet you didn't tell

me? You ruined everything.”

Jack cursed when he finally realized this woman already knew Grace

Allen was alive and already the wife of the cruelest man on this earth

whom they should fear for life.

Yet she didn't tell them anything and let Allen's family fall into David

Xiver's hands; she ruined herself and her family, dragged him into her

mess, and exposed his deed in front of David Xiver.

If not, he was already in such a situation; he would have killed her a

few times with his bare hands.

Mia didn't care, as long as David would just let her leave, but she had

no idea how much David wanted to skin her alive slowly and throw her

alive in his artificial crocodile pond, and he would.

“What happened that day Mia Smith?” David didn't care what she was

protecting one's life was the most significant good deed in their own

David suddenly stopped, leaned on his knees, and took his head in

front of her. There was an evil smile on his face.

pay with your own life from now on.”

David felt digested by the look on her expression as if he betrayed her

after giving her the most precious treasure yet snatched it from the next

second; Mia fell in despair.

David grabbed her one hand and laughed like a manic who already

forgot the line of humidity.

“You once touched my precious with this hand; you almost ruined my

beloved before I knew who she was to me, so I don't think you need

this hand of yours.”

David suddenly announced with the same manic laughter.

Mia Smith, Jack Allen, and Issac were frozen like statues. Mia Smith

felt David's words were even more dangerous than the robotic creature

in her body. She shook her head.

“Please forgive me; just kill me.” She would never bear the pain with

her wide eyes.

“No need; I plan to keep you alive for a long time until I feel my thirst for

revenge dies.”

David didn’t give her a choice to regret, and suddenly, out of nowhere,

a sharp and shiny sword appeared, and David sliced Mia Smith's hand

like he had cut a fruit.

Mia Smith screamed so loud that her voice broke, and Isaac fainted.

Even though they killed so many people in their lives, Jack Allen felt he

had lost his mind and couldn't keep his sane mind on track anymore.

Before she knew it, three bodyguards pulled her into a dark room along

with Issac and Jack; Isaac was already unconscious. Otherwise, his

heart would bleed for his beloved woman, while Jack only begged for

forgiveness from David and Kevin until their screams despaired into the

dark room.

No ordinary person could guess what was so special about the dark

room, but Black Dragon's men knew what was inside was worse than a

death sentence.

There were all kinds of creatures waiting for them to play, making them

wish for death every second.

David looked at the hand which was on the ground, Mia Smith's hand;

he felt a rush of disgusted feeling in his heart,

His men understood why their master was acting like that and quickly

cleaned up the mess as if nothing had happened there in the first place.

Kevin looked at his brother-in-law in fake anger.

“brother-in-law, do you think it's funny to let me see you vent your anger

on that woman yet didn't let me do as I wish with Jack Allen and Mia

Smith? It's not fair.” He complained earlier; he said he wanted to do it.

But his brother-in-law told him if he wanted to vent his anger, he was

only allowed to beat both men, not Mia Smith; that woman did so many

things he did not know.

At first, he thought she just wanted to Kill his sister but didn’t know that

woman provoked a manic in the process, which almost caused Kate to

lose her life if not for someone.

David wiped his hand and looked at his brave yet innocent brother-in-

law, this boy might be a leader of a powerful team, but his experience

was far away from David, and David didn’t want to taint his hand with

the woman's blood who raised him for 15 years even though she ruined

his family.

“Boy, grow up first.” David didn't tell him the real reason because he

didn't want Kevin to feel any guilt or pity for the woman who tried to kill

his wife, if not god kept her safe even after going through so much; he

still doesn’t dare to imagine she would not be in his life.

Just this thought is enough to make him want to ruin the world; without

her, there shouldn't be anyone or any world existing because only with

her existence is this world so beautiful to him.

David left the dark place and went to some place he wanted to confirm

his suspicion. Kevin was like a tail between David's legs; even David

wanted to send him away. The boy clung to David like even David

would throw him aside; he would not leave.

David helplessly let him follow him, and they went to an unknown place

that looked deserted. At first, they thought no one was there until David

knocked on the door, and a loud noise got their attention.

David and Kevin looked around and saw a few humans in regular dark

clothes, but it seemed they were not ordinary people.

The people looked at David and Kevin like they were looking at their

prey; David stood in front of Kevin; he would never risk Kevin since he

knew the danger was not ordinary.

Kevin felt the surrounding bubble so warm that he wanted to cry; no

matter how bitter-sweet their relationship was, David never once let him

down in any situation and protected him like a big brother.

Sometimes words might not be enough for Kevin; Kevin knew why

David always tries to keep him away from all the mess because David

thinks his heart was still not painted by this world's evilness and could

still be saved if David shielded him from it.

The people didn't care and attacked; David bare-handed handled a few

of them, while his men had already dealt with the other few, and they

cleared the entire villa leaving no trace of danger; even though Kevin

didn't fight against many, he at least killed two.

David looked at him thoughtfully, warning him not to act on his own;

Kevin shrugged his shoulders carelessly as if it were a pure accident.

They tried to open the door, but it was exceptional, and no matter how

much David and his men tried, they couldn't break in. So finally, David

had no way but his way to hack the camera and security of that broken

villa.

Even though there was no sign of anyone living, David believed the

people inside were not simple; David and Kevin entered, and the inside

decoration and light shocked them; it was no different than any modern

villa, but no one was inside.

"Bastard, leave me alone.” David and Kevin looked at each other in

confusion.

Because the voice was coming from behind them, Kevin and David

turned, and they saw an older woman looking at them with a strange

expression.

“You.... who are you?” When the older woman saw the two, she was

shocked and could barely say anything.

David looked at the woman and felt she was familiar, but he couldn't tell

who she was when the woman raised an object toward them and

shouted at them, “who the hell are you?” She looked scared, but she

was not afraid to face them as if it was normal.

David stood in front of her without any intention of moving. “It seems

Miss Lilian is such a brave woman as before, but it's too sad the world

has forgotten you so soon,

After all, it's been over 20 years since you were in public.” David

suddenly said and shocked the entire crowd; even Kevin was stunned.

Only then he looked at Lilian with careful expression; he never thought

he would see a woman who was considered dead over decades

suddenly come alive, which made him stammer with shock. So this

woman was murdered by someone years ago, but look, she is still

breathing.

“How do you know me?" Lilian asked when she saw David had no

shock or surprised expression on his face as if he was sure she was

Lilian.

“Because Oscar Astor would not hide a woman who is not very

important to him, also your beauty in the media industry is still livid;

people still remember you when they compare a real beauty to

legendary beauty Lillian,” David said sincerely.

This woman was a natural beauty. Yet, even after so many years, he

could see why her beauty always bewitched people. That might be why

David could guess her identity as the woman at the root of every

problem.

When Lillian heard David's words, a lousy thought suddenly arose:

“You came for me?” She asked if she was sure these people were as

simple as they were showing.

“Yeah, Miss Lilian, you don’t need to worry about anything, and he will

not get here before we leave this place. I'll surely leave him a note

when we leave so he won't have to worry about you.” David smiled like

a kind person.

Lillian was speechless when she saw the innocence yet cruelness in

their face “you're trying to get yourself killed here.” She informed me

that this place was someone's usual place; anyone could leave.
