and the other man took it from his master and flew away.

“Can you people behave like ordinary humans, just a few steps ahead?

Why does he need to fly over since he can walk on his feet? Such a

waste of strength?” David mocked the master because his men were

uselessly using their hidden strength.

The old master and David went to the office of master Black, where

they finally settled in front of each other.

“Where are the tails of yours? Since you left, they never once came to

greet their master, such useless and ungrateful fellows I raised.” Master

Black complained like a father whose children left him in old age and

never even bothered to ask about his well-being over the years.

David didn’t know if he should laugh or cry; he wanted to say, older

man, do you think these idiots are still brainless? They would never

come to your land to cage themselves at their will.

Seeing the meaningful look in David's eyes, the older man was

speechless. “Seriously, It's not like I can hold them here forever; they

are as wild as you; even if I hold them, do you think they will stay

willingly?"

Old master Black never had the same intention with Robert and Derek

since his eyes were always on David.

Everyone was unique in their way, but David's specialty was kindness.

He could accept people from his heart when he liked someone

and always treated those around him as his own. Being a good leader,

compassion, and caring for his men is the key to a successful

organization, and David has that quality.

misunderstanding.

When the old master Black heard it, his heart jumped “what do you

mean by four? How many women did you marry, David? I can not even

think in my nightmare you're such a player.”

Former owner Black gave David a look where David could tell he was

overthinking his tricky mind.

“Stop your dirty thoughts; I have only had one woman in my life and

always will.” David put a full stop on his master’s thought which was

David's master looked surprised and relieved. “Then?”

he never wanted to disturb David's life, so he never looked into David's

private life since David never asked for any help from him over the

years, so even though he knew David's difficulties in life, he never went

out of his rule to help.

So David's personal life was an open book, but he didn't decide if he

should peek or open the book to see what was inside the book, but

when he remembered his promise, he kept his curiosity on track and

waited for David to come to meet him.

He was like a big tree in David's life, and this tree gave him oxygen

when he felt he could not live on anymore and lost hope.

“I have two princes and one princess in my life now.” David cleared the

misunderstanding.

Since the phone was not allowed inside the Black Dragon's head office,

David didn’t bother to bring it with him. This man would bark at him if he

dared to break any rule since his master loved his freaking rules.

When the man heard what David said, he felt happiness burst into his

heart, which was visible in the man’s expression, and his eyes sparked

with excitement.

“Oh my, but I heard you only married for nearly two years, so how did

you get three angles? DX, don't tell me you got a girl pregnant before

marriage; you are such an irresponsible man.” the old man Black

almost spit on his face in anger.

David raised his hand and facepalm face; seriously, this man is with

high 1Q, but David knew he had low EQ, but he never knew this man

was so foolish when it came to matters like this.

When old master Black saw the annoying expression on David's face,

he slapped the desk and pointed his finger at David.

“What are you annoyed about? Didn't I teach you to be a real man and

be responsible? How can you act like this?" Since David covered his

face with his palm, the man thought he felt guilty.

David removed his hand and glared at the man angrily. “Can you stop

your idiots’ thoughts? My wife gifted me three angles into this world, so

stop your horse's thought.” David glared at him.

When old master Black realized he had misspoken about his fellow, he

laughed, not looking embarrassed, “I knew it; my fellow is not a beast.”

But, instead, he praised David the next second.

David was left speechless; he changed his color even faster than the

Golden tortoise beetle; this man never failed to leave him. So why

should he stay away from this man even more?

“So when are you going to bring your family to meet me? I also have to

see which one is perfect for my successor?” The man fingered his

bread and said greedily; when David heard what the man said, he

couldn't be angrier than he ever could.

“Old man, leave my child alone, they are not even six months old, and

you're already eyeing them to be your successor. Are you too idle over

the years?” David mocked the man’s thought.

But the older man was not a little angry. Instead, he laughed even more

happily, “I decided.” The old master, black, suddenly raised his voice

and slapped his thighs.

But David had an ominous feeling in his heart, what he was trying to

do, but he didn’t say anything and looked severe and waited for the

man to finish what evil plan he suddenly made in his mind.

“What?” David asked curiously when he saw the older man smiling at

him like a sneaky cat.

“I'm going to my great and best friend's home to enjoy a few days’

family time.” When he finished, David nearly choked on his breath; the

damn, old fool, he sure knew how to shock and stop him on his own

with his words.

“Old man, are you freaking crazy? You had never left this mountain for

over two decades, and now you suddenly want to leave everything

behind and leave for days, are you not worried people will take this

chance and kick you out of your throne?”

David asked when he remembered how long it had been since this

older man left this mountain.

Since his wife died while giving birth to his precious son, not only she

left him alone, she took his son with her, leaving him all alone in this

world; he caged himself in this mountain and never searched for

another love of his life.

It might be because of passion and devotion that David learned love

comes once in a man’s life, and they have only one chance; David

learned many things in his life from this older man,

but what is essential he craved in his heart was never to miss a second

to be with his love because once missed means you lost it forever.

“Yeah, It's been so long since I visited my old friends; also, I need to

observe your dear princes to pick up the suitable hair for my kingdom;

after all, a kingdom needs a king, and it can’t be without one for long.”

So the man hunted him repeatedly so he would make sure to take one

from his sons.

David rolled his eyes “*Old man, don't even think about it; my sons just

learned to crawl; they're just learning to sit up on their own; I'm not

giving you my sons to torture from such a young age."

Even though Destiny was his princess, Devin and Daniel were much as

precious to him.

As their father, he would never let them suffer, even though he knew

being David Xiver's son would make them learn many things, and they

needed to go through much pain he had suffered, but not so soon.

He wants to let them have a peaceful and happy childhood under their

parents’ wings; he would never let them feel what he felt when he had

no one to hold his hand.

The old master Black smirked. “David, they're your sons; even if you

don't think it's suitable for them now, they eventually need to learn

because being DX's son is much heavier than being David Xiver's son.”

the old man suddenly turned severe.

Because he was not joking, even though he never tried to find out

about David's whereabouts, he somehow knew what David suffered

from time to time.

David suddenly fell silent; he knew his master was not wrong.

Because DX's son would shoulder all the responsibility to make sure

happiness for his Kate, someday his son also would have someone to

protect and be with.

this world.” David put a full stop to his master’s following sentence.

The old master, Black, looked at David angrily, but it didn't affect David

much because he knew even though this older man could sometimes

be very irritable, he would respect his decision.

Who knew his judgment about his master would be proven wrong?

David walked around the mountain and saw the improvement over the

years, but even he didn’t want to admit, without a leader, This mountain

could not stay as his master wanted to keep it; it would be in grave

danger.

Enemies always lurked around this mountain; their minds were not

was above anyone’s thought, and that's why even after two decades,

Even David knew if his master didn't give him a chance to escape

years ago, he might never be able to leave this mountain and never

While on the other side, Kate looked outside the main entrance of their

mansion again and again, but no one came nor the phone which she

held in her hand all the time range or rang for a message notification.

Kate was losing her patience, the planners came, and the mansions

backyard was already declared for the party; since the wedding was a

day ahead, everyone was busy preparing.
