Chapter 654 -

CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife

Kate was losing her patience, the planners came, and the mansions

backyard was already declared for the party; since the wedding was a

day ahead, everyone was busy preparing.

Only Kate was busy with her thoughts; she called David and then

Kevin; both of their phones were switched off, and she became even

more anxious.

She fed the babies and put them to sleep since they had been awake

since 4 am. The weather was getting colder and colder each day. Kate

hates winter, especially Destiny, who always cries if she touches

anything hard.

So David especially removed all the metal things that could irritate his

princess. Kate put on a shawl and walked outside to see if everything

was getting done how they wanted.

Everything was decorated with real flowers, and seeing the beautiful

decorations, Kate's heart felt a little calm; who doesn't like to be

between flowers and feel life? Kate was no different since she was a

crazy fan of roses,

Seeing the roses, she remembered the place David proposed to her so

grandly that the entire city’s people enjoyed with her and might

remember there was a crazy man who proposed to his wife, coloring

the whole sky with the devotion of his love.

He even dragged so many military air forces into joining his plan; she

smiled on her, remembering how much effect the man put on her,

standing at that moment,

She felt every pain she suffered was worth it. She would bear

everything with a smile if she had to start over again because she knew

he was worth the world for her.

So suffering for a mere decade meant nothing to her because he was

the best of the best she could ever ask from God and her fate.

Kate returned to her senses when she saw her mother, “Mom.”

Kylie smiled, “it seems my daughter remembered something good.”

She teased Kate in a teasing tone; Kate couldn't help but smile even

more widely.

“Yeah, I was lost in the thought of how David proposed to me and how

beautifully he came into my life.” The smile on Kate's face told Kylie

how much that man did for her beautiful daughter.

“Are you happy?” It was a mother's question to her daughter who got

married to an unknown man while she had nothing but her own.

“Happy can never describe my happiness, mom; there is no word that

exists in this world that can hold the weight of my happiness, so I don't

want to describe my happiness with words anymore,

just look into my eyes, and you will know my happiness had long

crossed the universe before I even knew.” it was not the word of drama,

but her feelings.

Kylie crashed Kate's cheek. “I can see, my dear; I can see the spark in

your eyes which happens when David is involved. I'm thankful to God;

God didn’t disappoint me because god gave you the most precious

treasure we could ever offer you.”

As a mother, how could she not know how happy her daughter was

with her life?

“Mom, let go of the past; everything happened because we were in test

in our lives, so everything doesn't go according to our wishes; I know,

Dad, and you feel you didn't do enough for me,

but believe me, I don't even regret even a little bit because I have more

than I could ask from life, so remove the thorn from your heart, live your

life with dad as you wanted, you two missed 15 years from your life,

so you need to catch up with your happiness.” if in this world she wants

all the happiness for someone, it was her parents because her parents

loved each other as deep as their scars.

Kylie smiled and held her daughter's hand. “I know, my dear, we will, as

long as our children have all the happiness in this world; as parents,

nothing can make them happier than this.

Also, we decided to buy a mansion here near you; from now on, you

and David don’t need to worry about the babies; we will surely take

care of them most of the time; enjoy your life, dear.” Kylie informed me.

After all, not for long; they wanted to stay at the south mansion, as a

mother wanted to give their daughter alone with time son in law; that's

why she decided to bring up the children as much as possible to

provide Kate and David alone with time.

Kate laughed when she realized what she meant, but her babies were

her second priority after David, and she would not hand them over to

anyone until it was the resort in her life.

Rose and Nina went out with Mrs. Jones since she needed Rose for

some ritual.

Hours passed, night fell, and David did not come home; Kate called

Alex and asked him, only to find out David had an important meeting

and he would be out of reach for a few hours, even though he tried to

give her consolation with words, Kate felt nothing but anxious.

He saw her like that. Everyone was also getting anxious while

scratching their heads because of David; David was, on the other hand,

preparing for a fight that would change one’s life.

Kate refused to eat because she couldn't put her food down her throat;

he didn't tell anyone about the details, and he didn't even inform her

before leaving, which was an impossible situation for Kate; he never

once did in their entire married life.

The children cried when each of them was picked up by their aunties

and grandma; Kate walked back and forth between the main entrance

and the living room.

Nate felt his head spin, but he could not say anything since Kate would

stop worrying until they got any news about David or he returned home.

On the other hand, David saw the report on his hand, he couldn't

understand everything, but he was not a fool not to know what it

claimed.

“Master, are you sure? I thought you could break any curse and pull out

a solution.” David looked grim, this was his last resort, and this was

getting further away from his grip.

The old master Black's expression was also worth seeing; he had

never seen anything like this in his entire life.

“I'm sure this is beyond anyone's capabilities, David; this is about

bloodline, not solution.”

Old master Black knew about this bloodline matter long ago, but he

never tried to dive in so deeply.

If he had known this day would come, he might have looked into this

years ago. Still, it was even more impossible than before because this

matter had vanished from people's sight and became a rare matter that

only a few could investigate. Whoever tried to dig into this matter long

died miserably.

David couldn't tell what he should think or how. “Master, is there any

way? Is there anyone who could solve this?” David asked with a little bit

of hope he left in his heart.

He knew if anyone could resolve this, then if anyone didn’t know, his

master would; this man’s information was more worthy than

international intelligence.

“David, do you have to dig into this matter?” Old master Black suddenly

asked; he wanted to know why David was so hellbent on this matter.

David's back stiffened when he saw the expression on his master's

face. “What do you want to say, master?” David couldn't help but ask.

“David, stop looking into this matter; this matter is not as simple as you

think; this can cause you great harm, and it might kill you.” Old master

Black suddenly informed David very seriously.

David's hope clashed into dust, and all he felt was helplessness

“master, tell me, what do you know?" His expression darkened each

second as if a black cloud was getting in the sky and waiting to fall as

rain.

“David, just stop messing around; if you want anything about this

matter, let me find out, but don't involve yourself and wait for me.”

Old master Black strictly refused his request because David was the

last line he would ever want to cross with his life.

David felt helpless; how could he not get involved in this matter? This

matter was about his loved one.

“Master, just find out as soon as you can; this is a matter of life and

death.” He knew his master would not tell him anything at all.

“Don’t worry, I'll inform you as soon as possible.” Old master Black

said.

What master Black didn’t know time was heartless; who knew what fate

stored for them with time? Since his hope shattered, he felt restless; for

some reason,

He wanted to be at home as soon as possible and hug Kate to comfort

himself because he felt helpless in front of fate, and only being her

could calm his heart and make him think carefully.

David stood up and glanced at his master.

Old master Black looked at him and asked in a hurry, “Are you going

back? But it's already so late; stay for the night; you can leave

tomorrow.” Old master Black offered.

But David shook his head. “No, I need to go back; I'll come to meet you

after I sort out some matter.” David didn’t want to give old master Black

unnecessary tension; he could handle the things alone.

The old master looked at David with pure emotion because he was

thinking about something, but like usual, his expression and emotion

were hard to see.

Even though he could tell something was cooking in his master’s head,

he didn't expose the older man and left after bidding goodbye.

As he left, the older man pressed the bell and called someone inside

his office. Since it was already evening, David sped up to reach his car.

Otherwise, he couldn't get on the plane and return to S country tonight.

David's entire path felt eternal; he didn’t know why he felt an uneasy

feeling gathered in his heart and bothered him so much; he felt his legs

were not working at full speed enough.

So in the end, he did some exercise and jogged to the car; when he

reached the car, he saw some gifts packages in his car's backseat; a

helpless smile appeared on David's expression; the older man would

never show care in the face,

he would throw his care like he didn’t even bother what he was doing,

but in reality, the old master Black cares more about David than a

father would about his son.

He opened the driver's seat and drove away. It took him at least half an

hour and his phone, which was out of network, started to buzz

continuously.

One-after-one calls and messages kept coming for at least a few

minutes, and when he tried to check, the first message he received was

a complaining message from his wife,

Then a few more David read, the more he felt guilty; he didn’t want her

to worry since he had come to A country and she would be in tension if

she heard this name, so he tried to finish everything, and he even

dragged Kevin with him to let her feel at ease, but who knew she would

overthink.

David felt a stabbing pain; she sent a crying emoji, which showed she

was sad; David cursed at himself and called back the number, the call

went through, but no one received it; he thought she might be angry at

him for not telling her before leaving.

David opened WeChat and requested a video call, but she didn't

receive the call. David sighed helplessly; he recorded a voice and sent

it.

It showed, but she didn't reply to him back. Finally, David coaxed her

sweetly in the voice message and emotional emojis.
