“Damn you, you didn’t invite me to your house; how could you do this to

me? Can you imagine how heartbroken I'm right now?” He grabbed his

chest and pretended to be hurt.

David wanted to vomit blood; this man had never wanted to leave his

precious mountain for years, so what if he invited him? Would he

agree? No, but a sudden change of mind surprised David.

“Master.” Suddenly, a call interrupted them; when old master Black

heard the familiar voice, he finally noticed Alex and smiled at the boy.

“Oh, boy, you are still with this devil?" his tone had changed the

moment he talked to Alex; unlike David, he was good to anyone, but he

was himself a devil to David.

Alex greeted him, “Master, you left your mountain?” He still couldn't

believe this man was willing to leave everything behind.

The old master Black laughed, “Yeah, after all, I'm here to see my

future successor, so it's not a waste of time.” Old master Black's words

shocked both David and Alex.

Including Nate.

Three of them understood what Old master Black meant by his future

successor.

Kate finally lifted her head, looked at the older man, and thought back a

few hours ago.

When David's men brought her back home, she descended from the

car, and about to walk ahead, she saw an older man with a bow! full of

white bread standing in front of the main entrance like a legend.

He looked at her with his sharp eyes, feeling the stare. Kate felt

goosebumps; she panicked a little and wanted to call the bodyguards

when she heard footsteps and saw almost all the bodyguards go to

their knees and keep their hands over their hearts.

“Grandmaster,” they shouted at the same time.

Kate was left speechless, so she had no way but to stand like an ice

wall until the old man finally walked up to her, looked at her head to toe,

and finally let out a big smile.

“It seems my fellow found a treasure; that's why he is so willing to help

the world.” The older man murmured.

Kate didn’t know if he was praising her or something else, but she

finally found her voice because she understood this man was familiar to

her husband from their bodyguard’s reactions.

“Master, who are you?" Kate suddenly asked.

“Hey lady, I'm that idiot's master, but we have a father and son

relationship when we're very serious; we're master and disciple; you're

Kate, that fool's wife, right?” The older man flashed a beautiful smile,

and Kate felt relieved.

“Yeah, I am; hello, master.” Kate smiled gently; she once heard from

David that he had a crazy master who trained him, and he was like a

father figure to him. He was the shield that protected David's damaged

roots and made David the entire forest.

Kate was about to invite him inside, but before that, he walked ahead

and invited himself inside the house; Kate was left speechless, so

helplessly facepalm herself and laughed,

walked inside.

She saw her mother crying her soul out, and her father had the same

painful expression.

“Mom, what happened?” Kate called out worriedly; she thought

something might happen to David or someone, which made her heart

jump out in fear.

Kylie and Nate turned their heads and looked at her with shocked

expressions; her mother didn’t answer and ran to her and hugged her

like there was no tomorrow.

She was shocked. After a long time, her father explained everything to

her, and she got angry. It seems her damned husband didn’t tell

anyone about his plan and scared the shit out of everyone.

“Master Black.” Nate suddenly saw the man behind them and called out

in shock, as if his presence was too shocking to digest.

“Long time no see, Nate Allen.” The old master smiled as if he was an

old friend; even though the older man was older than him, there was a

friendly vibe between them.

Everything went too fast. Suddenly, the old master saw the children

carried out by the chef and the nanny.

He jumped out of his seat and walked to the children; he saw three of

them. Daniel was scared of strangers, especially since the man had

such long black and white bread.

Destiny was curious while Devin looked at the stranger in front of him

with sharp cold eyes as if it didn't matter to him who he was; he didn't

show any expression, which amazed Old master Black.

Old master Black grabbed his hand and spread his chubby hand palm.

Devin tightly fisted his hand and refused to open it, but old master

Black had his way of opening his fist and stared at his handline.

The more he started it, the more his expression turned grave; he finally

let go of Devin’s hand and stared at the boy with helplessness and

pride.

would leave, but he didn't and played with her children until they fell

asleep.

man suddenly commented.

Kate was surprised and looked confused.

“You will understand in the future when the time comes, don't hold

upcoming storm.”

The older man’s solemn words frightened Kate before she could ask

anything; the older man turned in a funny mood, and her father

returned after sending her mother back to the room.

David glared at the old man, “Old man, keep your greedy thoughts to

yourself; my son will not go to you until he wants it himself.”

David might have wanted his son to be the ruler of the earth, but he

would not just throw his son in the firepit; he knew the process of being

the leader of Black Dragon, that inhuman training would make his son's

heart die and live like a corpse.

As a father, he would skin his skin rather than give his son face the hell

in this world.

Old master Black suddenly turned severe. “David, he is my aim; you

can’t stop me.” The older man was determined about Devil and would

not change his decision.

Alex gulped while Kevin started the older man like he was curious when

man’s words shook everyone.

David turned his head, looked at his sleeping son in the crib, and fisted

his hand. Kate also finally understood this man meant something

ominous to her son.

“Old master, he is a few months old; stop shouting nonsense.” Kevin

suddenly spoke out when he saw this unknown older man speaking

nonsense about his precious nephew.

The older man turned to look at him and smiled after a while. “Boy, you

will be such a strong shield for your nephew.” He said.

Kevin was stunned, but he turned normal. Of course, he will protect his

nephew even with his life. Was this something he should predict from

the future?

David turned to look at Kevin and looked at the old master. David's

heart trembled when he saw the hidden smile in his eyes. He didn't

know what this old meant, nor would his master tell him something, but

David was afraid.

The old master would not lie because this man once predicted his fate

and accepted it because no one could change destiny.

Kate saw the changing expression in David's eyes and had no good

feeling about this situation. She grabbed David's shirt and looked into

When the old man saw everyone turned stiff, he smiled kindly

his hand when he loses control.” The older man looked at Kevin and

Alex with a kind smile.

Alex felt his entire body turn stiff; this man was scaring him with his

stare, and he stepped back to hide from his intense gaze.

The old man stood up, walked to the cot, and smiled “we will meet

again.”

He walked over to Kate and handed her a small jade box.

“Girl, this originally belonged to the woman I loved, but she is not here

anymore, so I'm leaving it for you; I'm sure my woman would've liked

you if she was here, but her fate is different, so I'm giving it to your

behalf of her, keep it with care and this...."

“It will be your choice to choose the path for your son, so when you

think this is the right time, put it on Devin.” The older man smiled and

whispered.

He might be cruel, but he would leave the decision to Kate because

time will make her understand what to choose because she gave birth

to the boy.

David had no words for this man because he came with a warning of a

future cyclone; he just wanted him to go because he needed time to

digest the truth.

Kate accepted both gifts because she believed time would help her.
