Chapter 666 - Epilogue.2...!

CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife

Nine months later,

"So ugly, godmother; I think this is not my god-sister; the doctor might

have stolen my god-sister ."

8-year-old Destiny looked at Amy's newborn baby and said disdainfully.

She waited almost a year to meet her godmother's daughter. She

thought the girl would be an angel since her godmother and godfather

looked like a fairy.

She felt like crying.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha." Everyone laughed, but only Alex showed a sad

expression. He couldn't even say anything to the person who called his

princess ugly because the commenter was his CEO's little ancestor.

Amy almost couldn't help from rolling on the ground seeing the little

ancestor crying face; she was terrified that the doctor might have stolen

the baby.

"Newborn is like this; she will be as beautiful as you when she is a little

older."

Kate explained to her daughter, who has no boundaries on her tongue;

sometimes Kate wishes her daughter to be a calm and masterful lady,

but believe god, this girl is nothing but nonstop thunder; who knows

whom she would strike the next second?

"Really?" She asked; she still couldn't believe it; Kate was speechless.

Kate badly wanted to show her a pic of herself to prove every newborn

looks ugly despite their gender and genes.

Destiny took the baby and sat beside her brother Devin.

"Big brother, look at her and tell if they didn't change the baby. After all,

mommy and godmother said she would be your little bride and my

sister-in-law, brother.

We must be sure about the baby; otherwise, what if you marry the

wrong baby? And I don't want an old wrinkly grandma as my sister-in-

law; what will happen to my proud dignity?"

Destiny's words made everyone laugh until their stomach hurt.

Kate twisted her lips; she was just an eight-year-old baby girl, yet she

sure claimed to have dignity. Kate sometimes feels like she has given

birth to a past-life queen who has been reborn as her daughter.

Devin's expression twisted upon hearing Destiny's words; he was left

speechless for a second; only then he raised his head and looked at

the baby; looking at the baby, he felt like the world betrayed him,

How could his mother say something like, see, the baby looks like an

older man; it's been three days since she came to this world, and they

already fixed her with him? He couldn't be more speechless by his

mother's thoughts than he already was.

Seeing his cold, expressionless face, Alex felt like his wife wanted to

throw his princess in a fire pit. Even though he admired the boy, he

couldn't bring himself to think of the boy as his future son-in-law.

Whenever he looked at Devin, he saw a second David, who was born

to rule over the world; David also wanted the same, so Alex knew

Devin's life path would not be easy.

He would lead a path full of blood, not flowers, yet he couldn't think

about giving his daughter to a man who needed to shoulder the

responsibility of being David Xiver's son.

He fell into deep thought, David noticed Alex's worry, but he said

nothing; it was too early to say anything because who knows if Devin

would ever like Alex's daughter; what if someone connected his fate to

another one, and they just forced someone on him from childhood?

As Devin's father, he would always respect his son's choice, but his

wife comes first, even if the other person is his child; if his wife wants

them to be fated, he will create their fate for her happiness.

Devin looked at the little soul in his arms; even though he was only

eight years old, he knew what it meant to be his fiance, but no matter

how much he looked at the girl, he couldn't bring himself to admit her

as his future wife.

Seeing the disdained expression on his face, Alex's heart turned even

sour, he couldn't even love his daughter enough, yet this boy showed

disdain toward his daughter. Once his daughter grew up, he would

surely tell her this boy didn't like her.

"Brother, you must respect mom's decision; since mommy is like this

little sister, I'll call her sister-in-law." Daniel pokes his nose; this

mommy's body has the guts to butt between this matter.

Kate's eyes sparked with happiness as if she couldn't love her son

enough. "I may have done countless good deeds in my past lives; that's

why god gave me you, son." Kate grabbed Daniel and hugged the boy,

and kissed his face.

David grabbed Daniel through his shirt collar and threw him aside "you

sure know how to charm a girl, unlike your brother." David said with a

bit of jealousy.

This son sure knows how to butter up his wife.

"Thank you, dad.” Daniel knows his father is jealous, not like he minds;

he loves this side of his father.

David wanted to kick him in the butt, so he grabbed Kate's waist and

pulled her closer, declaring his authority in front of his sons.

Everyone showed a sour expression; seriously, this man didn't even

spare his son; he knew how to express his feelings without caring

about his children.

Kate closed her eyes with a sigh; this was not new, but something she

felt like she was obsessed with, and she did not mind his

possessiveness.

“I'll not force you, son, but Ana likes you when she grows up and wants

to be your fiance, then forget about your opinion.”

Kate looked at Devin and said firmly.

These children had no idea, but Kate could tell her son was a wild lion

who was waiting for his territory and time; just because David didn't let

him go out of control, he was still in power,

but he would rule over the forest once his destiny came for him. Still,

every king needs a queen who can control the king; otherwise, the king

could lose happiness.

And Kate wanted someone she could trust besides her son, and she

was not forcing it; she was waiting to see if Ana could be the person for

her son.

"Ana, who is it?" Destiny asked suddenly.

"This is Anna Wood." Kate pointed at the baby in Devin's embrace.

"Why Ana?" Daniel asked.

"Because Ana has a meaning in life, peaceful, delicate, elegant, and

god-favored, so your godmother named her Ana," Kate explained.

Devin heard his mother and looked deeply at Ana; sleeping like a lazy,

peaceful, god-favored son seemed to suit her. Looking at her delicate

sleeping face, Devin no longer felt so reluctant.

Unknown to everyone, everything changed that day; his reluctance

turned into willingness, but Devin himself or others didn't know that this

willfulness would turn into something crazy.

One would be the world's peace, while the other would be the

destruction of the world, yet when both clash, a new power would be

built on their fate.

"When is Kevin coming back?" Amy suddenly asked, keeping the

marriage matter aside since it was still early, and who knows what

would happen in the future?

"Still unknown, he said he would be here when he wants; I really can't

understand what had gotten on him, why he has to go there telling no

one; he didn't even inform mom where he went," Kate said with a sigh,

her brother was a fine young man, just one glance enough to make any

girl fall for him head to heel.

But that man knew how to avoid women because he said he would be

with someone he wanted; until then, he kept women off the limit, just

like his brother-in-law.

Kate thought her brother didn't like her husband much, but it seems her

brother respects her husband more than anyone else and idolizes her

wholeheartedly.

"Did you visit Rose and the little prince?" Amy asked, looking at Kate.

“Yes, the little prince is bigger than your little prince; Liam is unhappy

about it." Kate suddenly laughed.

Remembering Liam's sour face, they had twins earlier, and both of

them were boys, so this time Liam wanted a daughter, which was his

daydream thought to cause this one was also a boy.

"I pity brother Liam; he wholeheartedly wanted a girl after these two

demons; the demon would be the wrong word for them.” Amy laughed

along with Kate; Liam and Rose's sons got Rose's personality and were

like storms.

“Yeah, I understand his pain; I also have one." Kate eyed her daughter,

and Destiny pretended not to hear her mother's complaint after she

listened to her mother.

Amy laughed. "What about uncle and Aunty? Are they still reluctant to

come back? Damn, it's been two years,” Amy said with envy.

"Still on tour, my dad thinks he needs to make up for 15 years that he

missed with our mother, so he wanted to roam all over the world with

my mother without interruption.” Kate smiled; no one could be as happy

as seeing her parents overcome their painful past.

With Kevin, her father's relationship improved, despite that, sometimes,

whenever both argue about something, Kylie would side with her son,

which would trigger her father's anger, and he would drag Kate to side

with him.

Sometimes he felt like her father and brother were like oil and water,

but their relationship was even more potent than Kate and her father's

because they strongly agreed on one thing: protective of the girls in

their family.

Her father waited until Destiny turned five years; only then he left with

her mother for a world tour.

Both their uncle and grandpa were her number one fans after her

father.

David kissed Kate's shoulder and whispered, "We will also go for a

world tour after Devin and Daniel takes over everything."

David promised he wanted to go, but he had the duty as their father,

which would last until their children were bigger to take over their

responsibility when the younger generation took over.

Kate turned her head and looked into his eyes; her heart always filled

with joy whenever she faced his eyes which were filled with deep and

unbound love for her; she knew once her children were strong enough

to take over everything, he would retire, which was top on her darling's

bucket list.

Even after eight years of togetherness, never let him fade with time.

Instead, his love grows with time to the point that if he can't see her for

a few hours, he acts like he has lost his world and has nothing to live

for.

Kate grabbed his head and kissed his forehead. "Okay."

She knows he doesn't need to promise because her dream would be

his only desire; in David's eyes, she was and still is, and always will be,

the one who surrounds his world; he never did nor wants to see out that

line.

Unlike the father and mother, Devin was nervous because the girl in his

arms opened her eyes so widely and kept staring at him, a look he had

failed to forget in his entire life.
