Devil's Marriage Trap (Nina & Ace) - Chapter 1 - Little Nina...!!!

CEO Husband's Crazy Love For His Little Wife

The door opened inside; Aunty Lin entered with a food tray and put it

on the bedside table.

“You know your brother is just worried about you; why quarrel with

him?" Aunty Lin walked in person.

When the person heard her voice, the back turned and looked at Aunty

Lin with a grieving expression.

"But Aunt Lin, I just wanted to go out for a while alone; why does he

have to be so strict? The girls around my age live so freely,

Yet I can't even go to college outside the country because my brother

thinks I can't handle the outside world. Do I look so weak to you?" Nina

asked with a pitiful expression.

If not for breaking the little girl's heart, Aunt Lin would say yeah, you

look like a little bird that needs the wings of your brother, but the girl

was already angry; if she said something like this, the girl might blow

up.

Even though Nina was a quiet and peaceful child since childhood, she

was like fire; when she got on something and couldn't do that, both

brother and sister have the same character.

"Aunt Lin, I have never gone out, nor do I have any friends. Finally,

someone invited me for dinner; don't you think I should take this

chance to explore the outside world?" Nina's expression suddenly fell

when she mentioned not having a friend.

Aunt Lin also felt her sadness; since birth, Nina grew up under David's

wings, and her father's unfaithfulness broke a happy family, ruining

these children’s little hearts; David was there for his mother and sisters

since he was 10.

Some can never be for one woman; not every man needs many women

in their life, like David and Nina's father; that man and Nora got married

because they fell in love.

Nora even sacrificed her own family to be with an orphan man, but in

return, she got betrayed by that man.

This made David have trust issues, he made friends, but only those

who were trustworthy, but in Nina's case, David didn't let Nina and

Rose meet with too many people, who are predominantly male.

Not because he was narrow-minded but because he wanted to let them

have freedom once they could face the world with their heads up.

His worries about his two sisters differed; Rose was his father's

illegitimate daughter, which was taboo in society; people never

accepted Rose with good eyes.

Nina was timid since she had so much at such a young age, which

made her insecure about people, but suddenly she became excited to

go out of nowhere, which made David more worried about Nina.

Aunt Lin walked close to Nina and patted her head. "Darling Nina, the

world is not as simple as it looks; no matter how much the world yells, a

woman is secure.

A woman can never be free outside because there are men like your

father and much worse, so an adult must protect their precious

princess, and your brother is doing what he needs.”

Aunt Lin can be gentle, but she can be a tiger mother when needed.

For the Xiver's children, she would go to any length.

Nina pouted, "But Brother allowed Rose to go to J country.” Nina

complained.

Aunt Lin sighed; she understood why Nina became so stubborn this

time; since Rose left for her study, there was another reason David

agreed with Rose's decision, still after Rose's departure made Nina feel

lonely.

"Okay, I'll talk to you, brother, but this once." Aunt Lin couldn't ignore

the pleading look in Nina's eyes,

Hearing it, Nina's eyes sparked. "Really, Aunt Lin?" She asked with a

smile.

Aunt Lin nodded, grabbed the tray, and put it before Nina. "Before that,

finish the food; you have eaten nothing since last night.” Aunt Lin held

her hand and handed her the spoon.

Nina nodded, she might be stubborn, but she knew she should respect

Aunty Lin; she would never refuse her hand.

Inside the study room,

David was sitting in front of his desk and working on the laptop when

Aunt Lin entered; seeing her, David could already guess why she was

there.

"What, still on hunger strike?" He asked with an expressive face.

Aunt Lin sighed “No, she ate a little just now.” She explained.

"Then?" David didn't raise his eyes, just focusing on his work.

"I promised to talk to you about the request.” Aunt Lin was also very

afraid of David's reaction because since he returned from abroad, he

had become cold and distant from everyone.

Even though he was still the boy from the past, she could tell David had

significantly changed in these years of absence; he looked even scary

with his expressionless eyes and stares.

Finally, David raised his eyes and looked at Aunt Lin; even though he

looked cold, there was respect in his eyes for this woman before him.

"Aunt Lin, I already told you she is not going there. Don't you know

what kind of party they do in such expensive places? These rich brats

drink and always make a mess.

Also, she needs to tell me about the person who invited her, not even

allowing the bodyguards to go with her. Should I allow her out for a

night party? It's dangerous outside, unlike.........."

David yelled out his worries when a voice interrupted him.

"Okay, I'll take the bodyguards.”

David looked at the door; Nina was standing there with a big grin;

earlier, she had followed Aunt Lin and eavesdropped their conversation.

David sighed; earlier, when she argued with him, he scolded her

harshly, but his heart softened for not seeing her being cheerful all day.

"Okay, but on one condition, they will be with you for as long as you're

at that party and leave one contact information about whoever invited

you." David might be lighthearted, but he could be even worse for

safety matters.

Since childhood, David kept Nina under their shadow because he didn't

want her to get much attention, their mother's death traumatized her, so

the world does not know about her identity as David Xiver's sister.

David didn't want men like his father around his sister, so even though

he sent Rose outside the country, he kept her under his watch and

protection.

But David's overprotectiveness worsened when Nina was 18; her teen

heart failed to keep her calm after getting what she wanted from a man.

She hadn't seen the world, yet Andrew's sudden appearance raised a

new curiosity in her innocent heart.

She also wanted to experience the world and its beauty with her own

eyes.

But she didn't know that David just wanted her to be safe and keep her

innocence since it was his duty to protect his sister cause Nina was still

unaware of the darkness of her father's side.

She only knows her father didn't love her mother and left them; unlike

Rose and David, this girl respects her father because she has yet to

understand how much pain that man caused Nora.

Nor did David ever mention to Nina about his mother because he didn't

want Nina to think their mother was a failure; their mother wasn't; it was

that man who failed to keep his promise to their mother.

So he lets Nina think the world is perfect and nothing is wrong.

She had a few brothers who were David's friends, but they all treated

her like a three-year-old child, which she didn't like, and after Rose left,

she was all alone, a female who needed friendship and company from

family and family friends.

But as Starlight's CEO, her brother always stays in the company and

spends most of the time as Starlight's boss; he rarely comes home

from the company; today was exceptional because Nina made a mess

at home, and he had no choice but to stay at home to guard her.

Nina looked troubled and wanted to tell her brother, but she feared that

her brother would scold her because a boy had invited her.

Seeing her expression, David's sharp eyes became even sharper.

"Don't tell me you don't want to...."

“No, nothing, okay, I'll go with the bodyguards, but brother, I don't want

them to babysit me. Do you understand what I mean?" Nina looked at

her brother with pitiful give, softening David's heart a little.

But he didn't show it on his face. "Okay, but you will return at 10 pm, do

you understand?" When David said it, Nina's face brightened up a lot.

It was already a miracle that David agreed to let her go, so she didn't

dwell on this hunger issue anymore and let go; she was furious.

"Okay, deal, Aunty Lin, come with me; you'll help me pick a dress to

wear; also, I'm starving; let's go.” Nina lunged at Aunt Lin and dragged

her away.
