She brought six bodyguards with her; seeing their madam being beaten

like that, they hurriedly grabbed Adam and pushed him away from Nina.

Their actions angered Adam to the point that he went wild, and this time

he vowed that if he didn't teach Alina Martin a lesson, his name

wouldn't be Adam Jones anymore.

Earlier, he was waiting for Nina, so when she didn't come out for 5

minutes, he thought about asking security, but he heard from some

students that a student was arguing with an outsider inside the college.

So Adam didn't stop for a second and ran inside.

When he crossed the gate and saw Nina on the ground and Alina

Martin standing before her, blood rushed into his brain. He didn't think

twice; he ran to that woman, grabbed her hair, and gave her a few

slaps.

He vowed that day; once he saw this woman, he would ruin her face,

so this day is the day.

Adam rolled his sleeves. "Today, I will ruin your fucking evil face,

believe it or not." Adam walked ahead, and Alina walked behind in fear;

she knew this man was freaking crazy and would do what he said

cause he was Adam Jones.

"Stop him," Alina ordered her bodyguards. However, since the

bodyguards weren't aware of Adam, they didn't know his identity, so

they walked forward and tried to stop Adam; Adam was in a worse

mood, so he grabbed one bodyguard by his throat and punched his

face.

"Son, you don't know me; I'm the headmaster in the school you're

studying at. Also, after today, investigate people's character before

being someone's protector.” Adam was full of rage, so he knew nothing

could stop him.

But still, there were six against one, so he fell a little behind; Alina stood

there shaking; she knew the situation was very messy, and she didn't

expect to be caught by Adam Jones.

The bodyguards grabbed Adam and started wrestling against each

other; the entire college was already gathered to see what was going

on, Nina was feeling hatred, but seeing Adam fighting against six

people for her, she didn't care about herself anymore and tried to get

closer to the fight.

God knows where the people jumped in; a few people in masks

appeared in the fight and grabbed the bodyguards like humans caught

mice. Adam looked at them; he also had no idea who they were.

But he didn't care, since these people were helping him, he walked to

Alina Martin, hiding behind the one bodyguard, but she failed to shield

her from him. Adam punched the bodyguard's face and kicked him in

his groin.

The bodyguard moaned in pain; Adam grabbed the woman through her

hair.

"Adam, what are you doing, hitting a girl, being a boy? Aren't you

ashamed of yourself?" Alina tried to remove his hand from her hair but

failed.

"I swear, I never raised my hand on any woman, but I don't even see

you as a woman." Adam repeatedly punched Alina’s face; Alina felt he

had broken her nose.

Alina felt he would ruin her face; she couldn't save herself from Adam,

so she looked at Nina.

“Nina, stop him; if not, I don't show the entire college what you were

hiding in your hand like a dirty secret.”

Alina's threat was like a fresh stab in Nina's heart; Nina grabbed her

handbag tightly as if she had lost her grip, these people would drop in

front of everyone, and she would lose everything.

Nina looked frightened by her threat, So Nina ran and hugged Adam

from behind. “Let her go, Brother Adam,” Nina whispered as if she said

it aloud; Alina would know she was afraid, and the college student

would think she was dirty.

Adam was stunned seeing the pleading look in Nina's eyes as she

begged him.

Adam looked at Alina. "What did you say to her?" he didn't let go of her

hair, just stopped punching straight into her face.

Taking this chance, Alina gritted her teeth and bit on Adam's hand;

Adam flinched and let go of her; Alina took this chance and ran

between the crowd, Adam wanted to follow, but Nina grabbed him and

hugged him to stop him from pursuing that woman.

The bodyguards were lying on the ground with broken bones in their

entire bodies, yet these men who were there to help Adam were not

there anymore.

The moment Alina left, Nina felt her soul leave her body, and she lost

her senses. Adam carried the girl and took her toward the entrance,

and he freaked out.

Nina's condition worsened that night; at night, Adam finally succeeded

in reaching David and told him everything.

On the other side, David swapped everything off the desk. He was in a

good mood after finding the girl.

He planned to surprise and meet her again, but this news stopped

everything because he knew right now that Nina should be his priority.

"Did I tell you not to leave her for a second?" David sounded slightly

angry; he just went away for a day, yet everything turned into a mess.

"I wanted to give her freedom; our being around her always reminds

her about the incident.”

Adam was not careless; it was just about Nina. However, he was a little

emotional. He knew and understood that Nina might have looked happy

and alright, but she was not okay at all.

“I'm back tomorrow until then; keep my eyes on Nina, and don't

pressure her about what Alina says; otherwise, it might trigger her

emotion, just keep a close eye on her until I return.”

David looked at the watch; even if he wanted, he couldn't fly over

immediately; he was not at the office for months, and everything was a

mess even though Alex handled it very well.

He needs one night at the office to sign some documents and see the

girl one last time; otherwise, his heart would not be at ease.

"Okay, but what about Alina Martin? How did she know about us?

Damn, if not for Nina, I want to fly over and strangle the old man Martin

so much; that bastard hid his granddaughter, yet he let her out when

we blinked for a second.”

After seeing how that evil woman humiliated Nina again, Adam couldn't

control his anger.

“Leave Alina Martin to me; I know what to do." David had already made

up his mind about what to do about Alina Martin.

"Okay."

After the call, David called Alex inside the office; Alex heard everything

from Adam and their men and was furious.

"Call Old Master Martin right now," David ordered; he didn't try enough

because old master Martin helped him when he was drowning and

needed to save his mother and Nina, so he decided to go easy on

Martin. Still, it seemed that Martin chose not to appreciate it anymore.

Alex called old master Martin, but Butler said the old master went to the

army base three days ago and didn't return till now.

David finally understood how Alina Martin got the guts to go to M

country behind Nina; since old master Martin was in a military base,

she took this chance and went to M country.

David gritted his teeth and decided he endured this enough, and now it

was time to punish her.

"Since he is not here, find her and bring her to the dragon and let these

men do the same to her what she did to my sister.”

David would not let go of Alina Martin just because the woman, his

sister, was suffering, and that woman stalked his sister and bothered

her again.

Back in M country,

Nina was sitting on her bed in a daze as if she was thinking about

something,

As the door clicked, she lay on the bed, covered her head with the thin

blanket, and pretended she was sleeping.

Adam came with the psychiatrist and saw the room's light was off and

the little figure on the bed.

Adam sighed, he knew she was not sleeping, but he didn't want to

upset her by saying anything, so he turned to the doctor. "It seems Nina

is sleeping; we'll come back tomorrow.” He said this for her to hear and

went out of the room.

Nina lay there, she thought sleep would come, but the moment she

closed her eyes, these disgusting photos flashed before her eyes, she

couldn't breathe, she sat back and looked outside the window; the night

was dark without any moonlight, just like her life.

Nina lay there for hours, she didn't realize when time went by, but with

time, her hatred for her body grew even more. She couldn't keep

herself on the bed. Finally, she got off the bed and picked up her

medicine box.

She looked for sleeping pills and finally found a bottle; since she had

amnesia for a long time, the doctor prescribed some, but she never

took any, but today her desire for sleep became too hard.

She took out the cap, pulled out some sleeping pills, and took them in

one go.

She waited for a while when she felt the sleeping pills did not start

working for a long time; she walked into the bathroom.

She wanted to calm her because the restless feeling made her feel this

world was ruthless for her; she tried to find peace.

She stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom, saw these pictures,

and felt how these men might have touched her. Just thinking about

this, she washed her face and rubbed her lips repeatedly to wash off

these painful memories.

But she felt they were getting even more transparent in her mind, she

rubbed her lips so hard that blood dripped out, but there was no way to

clean them.

Nina looked at the mirror; she couldn't keep looking at her because she

felt disgusted. After all, these men touched her.

She picked up a flower vase from the cabinet and broke the mirror.

The mirror turned into pieces; she grabbed a big part and walked to the

bathtub; she laid on it and opened the water tab; warm water soon filled

the tub; Nina's closed eyes opened, and she looked at the sharp

broken mirror pieces.

She raised her hand; her head was feeling dizzy. She used the broken

mirror and cut her hand. She felt no pain in her hand. She put pressure

on the mirror; she felt the mirror go deeper, but no pain.

She was angry because she wanted to feel pain; only feeling pain could

wash off the hatred she felt toward herself.

After cutting her hand even more profoundly, her eyelid felt even heavy;

she felt the sleep finally come, so she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

She didn't know how scary her hand looked at that moment, blood

gushed out, and the entire bathtub turned red; the bathtub was not full

of water anymore; it was full of blood.
