(Devil's Marriage Trap) - Ace & Nina - Chapter 16 - She did...!!!

“It was not him.” Ace didn't bother to raise his eyes from his research

equipment and continued with his work after he answered his brother.

When Mike heard this, he felt thunder strike him; what did his brother

mean?

"Brother, don't tell me..." he could dare to sound out his doubt in case

someone heard something he didn’t want others to attend because of

his brother's safety, especially since they both knew they were living in

a prison which is worse than any prison in this world.

“Yes.” Ace didn't refuse and directly gave Mike a current shock with this

simple word.

“Brother, are you not afraid of finding out by David Xiver? After all, once

that man finds you, he will skin us alive along with you; after all, there

was still a chance when we found his sister, but you used the chance

for yourself.” Mike reminded his brother.

“I know, but what happened when I told you to find her?”

Ace looked at his idle brother, whose face turned pale after he heard

his brother was still hanging on this matter, but he couldn't tell his

brother what he knew because if he told his brother what happened to

that girl, he was sure their ten years of hard work would go in vain.

“No, brother, it seems David Xiver’s doing,” Mike said innocently; he

could afford to take his brother's anger and pain, but he couldn't. If he

told his brother everything and the people who helped them would lose

their lives to save so many lives, he needed to sacrifice his brother's

fling desire.

Ace closed his eyes; he knew what his brother was thinking, he could

find that girl himself, but he knew what was stopping his brother, so he

would not bother about this yet; he would wait till his time came.

Five months passed like this, and Nina and her unborn child finally got

a golden chance from god.

Nina woke up, which was an immense happiness in everyone's lives.

But no one dared to take this happiness seriously; after the doctor ran

at least five tests on her to be sure she was okay, after a night,

everything turned out well, and everyone finally dared to sigh in relief.

Nina woke up and saw everyone surrounding her like they couldn't

even take a wink. Nina's body was weak, but she was okay, but what

confused her was her huge belly.

“What is this?” was the question that made everyone nervous, but

David would not take the chance this time.

“Your baby, which now belongs to us, if you don't want him, then give

birth, and I'll raise him as mine, but if you dare to think about ending

your life with him again, then I'll make sure that everyone follows you.”

He pointed his finger at Rose, Adam, Liam, and Alex.

Nina looked at her belly with a shocked expression; it seemed this was

a new world to her, but when everyone thought she would have another

panic attack.

She would react historically; she calmly rubbed her swollen belly and

looked at her brother with a sad smile.

“Sorry, brother.” Her brother never expressed his love toward them with

words, but his actions made them realize how much this man loved

him; she always knew he was protective, but this was the first time she

realized how much he loved her. She could tell from his eyes how much

pain he was holding in his eyes.

“Brother, I'll keep this baby, but brother, what about the world? If you tell

me to save him, then you have to remember, I hate men other than you

all; whenever I think about any men getting near to me,

I feel disgusted that I might accept no man in my life, and society will

surely make fun of you and your dignity. Can you take it?"

She could bear anything but never accept the pain if someone insulted

her brother.

Her words shocked everyone, but everyone stayed silent. After what

happened to her, it was customary for her to have such a reaction; after

all, she had gone through the worst of her life.

David just patted her head. “You all mean the world to me and society.

Do you think your brother even cares about the world? Your brother is

alone enough to raise you and your baby for the next nine lives, so

don't think about anything else.”

David's words calm Nina's heart; although she looks calm after hearing

about her pregnancy, she is afraid.

But since she had hurt them enough, she didn't dare to show her fear in

front of them.

Rose jumped in front of Nina and cried, hugging the girl; she spent

these five months in total fear, fearing Nina might never wake up again.

Adam's condition worsened since she woke up; he didn't step away

from her, fearing something might happen again if he dared to let her

out of sight.

Time went by, and Nina and the baby were doing well under everyone's

care, while Alina Martin spent almost one year in a mental hospital; in

the end, the old master Martin hired a physiatrist and removed all her

memories of the entire one year, she forgot about Nina and everything

she did to Nina.

After four months, Nina woke up, and a healthy baby boy came into this

world; Nina had to struggle for the whole day until the baby was finally

born; the baby astonished everyone; among them, no one had

experience raising the baby, Nina was even worse, in the end, only

Aunt Lin successfully helped Nina.

Since the child was everyone's hope, especially Nina's, David named

him after his mother, Nora, Noah Xiver, and the baby was relatively

healthy.

The man who always disliked a child's cry was the first person who

always appeared before the child whenever the child let out any cry;

David would always be around Nina and Noah, and the baby became

the star of the Xiver family.

Everyone was worried about Nina, but with the child, Nina's mental

health changed, and she slowly made the child the center of her life;

she learned to live again with the child and lived for him,

They hoped that Nina might return to her old life, the same cheerful and

willful girl. But, even though she became mature after she gave birth,

she never thought about the nightmare again.

The child might have been born that night, but the baby boy became

the light of her life. It lightened her life so much that Nina never

considered him like that. Instead, she grew up with Noah.

Other children may call dad or mom their first word, but Noah's first

word was bubby(Buddy); he called David like that because, after his

mother, someone who stayed with him almost all his life was his buddy.

David wanted to take Nina to S country, but she refused; she didn't

want to return to where she had suffered so much. In the end, when

Noah turned almost 2, David returned to S country along with Adam;

Adam didn’t want to return,

But he was also Richards, the only heir; he needed to handle the family

business since his grandpa was getting older.

He had been in M country for almost three years; now that Nina was

getting better, she almost forgot everything, and David made sure she

was well enough to handle Noah and herself; he returned to S country

to chase after his girl.

These three years, he never stopped getting Kate's news. So when he

heard her uncle and aunty searching for investors to sell her off to the

Waston company, his heart was on fire; Nina somehow heard about

this and was shocked.

“Brother, will you let such a golden opportunity through your fingers?

Why not take this chance?” Nina's words shocked them; this girl's brain

was getting sharper daily, like her brother's.

But when he thought about ruining the company, a wicked idea flashed

in his mind by Nina's words, and he made a plan; after Liam and Alex

found out about his plan, they were left speechless; both brother and

sister were the same types of wicked-minded.

But what Alex could do, he was David's loyal tail, so he helplessly

followed his master and went to trick a 19 years old girl and trap her

from everywhere.

After David left, Nina felt alone; after all, they had become her shadow

for the last three years; Nina thought she needed to get busy to ease

her loneliness.

Nina decided to take Noah to a shopping mall; since Noah turned one

year, Nina felt like the boy was growing fast, and his clothes needed to

change after months, so she forbade David, who just packed clothes

for the boy for at least five years to buy more, she was using this

excuse to bring Noah outside the mansion.

It's been two months since everyone went back; Adam already returned

twice, and as for David, she forbade her brother to return until he

brought her sister-in-law with them.

Rose appeared in M country to surprise Nina. Rose finished her studies

and took a break before going to S country. However, she never

returned to S country because she feared she couldn't control her

heart.

“Sister, you won't believe what I will tell you.” Rose hugged the little

bundle and beamed in joy; for the entire family, Noah was the bundle of

joy in their life.

Seeing him happy always melts everyone's heart.

Nina raised her eyes and looked at Rose suspiciously; only two things

could make Rose so happy, either she won against someone in a fight

or something related to their brother.

"What?" Now Nina was a little curious.

“Brother got married.” Rose almost jumped along with Noah; Noah

turned his head and glared at his aunty.
