“Shouldn't you open the file and see what content is inside the file?"

Theo looked at Ace with great amazement, as if waiting for Ace's

reaction after seeing it.

Ace stared at him for a moment and picked up the file; he knew if it

were not something important,

Theo would never disturb him, knowing he would skin Theo alive if he

dared to joke around when he was busy.

He opened the closed envelope and read it, after a few moments of

silence, “What is this?” Ace's cold voice made Theo flinch a little; after

all, he knew this look, it was too scary.

“A DNA test report,” Theo answered almost immediately.

“I can see it, but why did you give it to me?” Ace raised eyebrows with

confusion.

“Because It's related to you.” Theo's eyes shined when he answered

Ace.

Ace wanted to knock him and tear his head out to see if he had a brain.

“And who is this son and father in the content?” After spending his life

in that creepy lab, Ace thought Theo had lost his sanity.

“Of course you.” Theo was having fun.

“Do you want me to throw you out of the window right now?” Ace was

confused and irritated by Theo's action, he really wanted to throw Theo

out of the window of his office.

Theo smirked, “I'm sure someone would throw himself out of the

window knowing what kind of wonder he had done, now now,

Congratulations.” Theo's words caught Ace off guard, even though he

couldn't understand, but his words didn’t seem right.

And congratulations, he only knew something was cooking in Theo's

mind. “Can you already speak out? If you are here to play a puzzle

game, then get out of my office already, I'm busy.” if it were someone

else, Ace would've already thrown him out of the office, but it was Ace,

his friend, and his doctor.

“Hey, how could you do this to me? I hope your son won't get your

tamper, otherwise...” Before Theo could complete his sentence, Ace

stood up from his swivel chair and grabbed Theo's collar “What are you

talking about? What Son?"

Being parents was a taboo subject to Ace, but hearing it came from

Theo's mouth who clearly knew he could never and never will be a

parent made him lose his cool.

Theo was quite shocked, he always knew this was Ace Welsh’s bottom

line, but he didn't expect Ace to react so aggressively “Damn man, cool,

let me go first.” Theo looked at Ace with a pleading gaze.

Ace came back to his senses and let go of Theo's shirt and glared at

him “Come clear, otherwise, I don’t mind giving you the taste of getting

bit by poisonous snakes.” Ace would not think twice to do what he said

because he grew up as he said, heartless and cruel.

“Chill, man, As I said, control your tamper, you're now a father of a son

who is already 2 years old.” Theo's words hit like bullets straight into

Ace's heart.

“What do you mean? Ace looked like he was seeing a star in daylight; a

glimpse of impatience flashed into Ace's eyes, even though he couldn't

believe it.

“Yeah, I met him 3 days ago; he looked like an exact copy of you, even

had the same symptoms, so to clear my doubt I did DNA between you,

and guess what..” Theo looked at the file in front of him and gestured.

Ace’s face looked expressionless for a while, then shock, surprise, and

many other emotions gathered in his heart. It was such a heavy blow to

his heart that he barely had any idea what he was feeling at that

moment.

Ace was silent, Theo thought he would at least ask him about it more

but he didn’t expect silence from Ace.

Then it was Theo's turn to get shocked. “You said I can't be a father in

this life; then how are you sure this boy is my son?"

“Because I personally did the DNA test, and you know, even if I lie to

the entire world, I will never betray a person whom I called my friend.”

Theo knew it was no easy blow on Ace. After all, it was impossible for

Ace to be a father, and they knew it long ago.

And Ace has no desire to become one knowing the child's fate would

be no different than his own, so why would he bring a child into this

world who would suffer the same fate as him? He hates women, so a

child was far than impossible in his life; he hates the controlled life that

he was leading right now.

“Where is the boy right now?” Ace's mind has something else to worry

about.

Theo's expression froze, then he said something which earned a cold

and deadly glare from Ace

“I don’t know.”

“What do you mean you don't know?"

Ace’s eyes turned even colder than it already was; Theo was at a

complete loss; he also tried to gather information but damn, these

people were too professional.

they didn’t leave any trace; they just told him if their young master got

the same symptoms again, they would bring him to the hospital under

the Grayson, but they wouldn't leave any information.

His old man thought it was for the best not to know because if someday

the boy's existence gets exposed, the monster couldn't find him at all.

But Theo tried, but they just vanished as if they didn't come to the

hospital in the first place, which shocked him a little, even though he

knew these people were powerful,

but they didn’t expect them to react so fast; he couldn't inform Ace, not

knowing if the boy was really related to him or not; when he got the

report, everything was too late.

“They just vanished; it seems the boy's mother has a powerful

background.” Theo was still wondering who that girl was, he somehow

felt familiar, as if he knew the girl somehow, but he couldn't remember

it.

“Go out,” Ace said suddenly; he still looked expressionless as if it was

not the most shocking truth in his life.

"What?" Theo was confused.

"Call Mike and ask him to come here and wait outside.” Ace didn’t even

look at Theo as if he were hiding something from Theo.

Theo wanted to say something but decided to go against it. He

somehow understands Ace's situation, but he had never seen Ace react

like this, not even when he found out the truth about his own life.

Theo left; he closed the door behind him, Ace locked the door and

grabbed his head as throbbing pain started to act again; if Theo earlier

looked carefully, he would've noticed the bone-breaking fists.

Ace fisted his hands to control his emotion,

“She gave birth to our son,” he murmured under his heavy breath; he

had only touched a woman in his entire life and that was none other

than that girl who had tormented him for almost three years, he couldn't

forget her for the last 3 years.
