(Devil's Marriage Trap) Ace & Nina - Chapter 38 - Strong...!!!

He didn't care about anything and ran to his mom, but before he could

reach his mom, he bumped into someone and fell; Ace and Nina's eyes

widened, and their hearts clenched in pain. Noah hissed in pain when a

pair of hands held her, and his eyes met the stranger's eyes.

The stranger smiled at Noah, but there was a cunning smile behind this

smile. Noah was too little to understand the meaning behind this smile.

“Are you okay, baby?” the man asked Noah as he helped Noah get up

from the floor. Noha was in short pants, and when he fell, his knees got

hurt, and there was small blood from his knee wound; the stranger took

out a handkerchief, wiped off Noha's wound, and then kept the

handkerchief back in his pocket.

Everything happened so fast that no one noticed anything; Ace finally

reached out for Noah but didn’t look at the man who helped his son.

Instead, he checked on his son; when he saw his son's knees were

bleeding, his eyes turned cold, and he coldly stared at the man in front

of him.

“Do you have eyes or want to dig them out for you since your eyes

have no use?” His cold voice made the man a little shocked, but he

soon returned and smiled politely,

“I'm sorry. I haven't seen him since he ran too fast; he came out of

nowhere.” The man tried to defend him, but Ace's expression turned

even colder.

Nina also got there, she grabbed her son out of Ace's hold, and

embraced him in her arms, she checked on him; when she saw the

wound, she looked furious; she turned to the man,

“He is a child, but you're an adult; how can you blame a child?" You

should be careful not to bump into someone.” Nina might be holding

back a little, but her heart ached to see her son like this.

Ace looked at the girl in front of him; the girl seemed so heartbroken by

their son's pain that he smirked, but no one noticed the grin on his lips.

“Mommy.” Noah didn’t cry when he fell; his eyes were on his mother.

The moment his mother hugged him, he cried out.

Nina turned her head away from the stranger and looked at her son's

painful expression, and her heart ached; she carried him in her arms,

even though he was still a little chubby because he suffered a lot in the

meantime, he lost weight, her heart was bleeding seeing her son, this

precious son of her suffered so much in such a young age.

“Baby.” Nina carried him, and the mother and son duo sobbed together;

everyone around them stood still, and no one disturbed them; even

Adam had to stay silent because he knew both of them were holding

back their emotions; they thought Noah was strong, but it seemed he

was holding back, now that he saw his mother, he knew he didn't need

to be strong anymore.

The stranger saw the gloomy atmosphere; he silently left, and nobody

stopped him; after walking far away from them, the man turned his

head and smirked.
