What is wrong if his mother wants to stay with him since her son is

sick?

This man was getting on everyone's nerves.

"Wow, Miss Xiver, you're getting beautiful every day." A voice

interrupted them. They turned and looked at the man who appeared out

of nowhere.

Mike walked in with a big bouquet and walked to Nina. "Welcome

home, Miss Xiver." He said cheerfully; his words surprised everyone.

Home; this was not Nina's home; she was there for her son; what he

was saying, how could he welcome her saying this was her home?

Mike smirked, looking at his brother, who flinched at his words; after all,

he knew his brother didn't think like this; he couldn't tell what was in his

brother's mind; he showed hidden emotions around this woman.

He had seen his brother for the last four years, and this woman was

carved in his brother's mind as an unremoved statue, as if she was

someone special; even though his brother never revealed his emotions,

he knew this woman became a deep-rooted tree in his brother's life, so

why not accept it openly.

Nina looked at the man in front of her; even though Ace and Mike were

biological brothers, they had heaven and earth differences between

their characters. One was the lord of the ice king with a deadly

gorgeous handsome face; the other was the flirting king.

But if they stand together, people would think more positively about

Mike than Ace because one look from Ace Welsh scares the people

away.

Nina stared at the flower bouquet before her because she had never

received flowers from any man other than her brothers, which

happened on her and Noah's birthdays. That day was her second

birthday, which David celebrated every year; when a woman gives birth

to a child, she is reborn as a mother, and a new identity is added to her

life.

But receiving flowers from these men made her feel a little

uncomfortable, feeling she hates men, especially with handsome faces

with a yellow rose because a man had betrayed her with a smiling face;

he presented her with a yellow rose, which was the symbol of

friendship and trust, but what she gained, pain and nightmares, which

hunted her for a long time.

“I.." she didn't know what to say to refuse the man, but Noah beat him.

"Uncle, my mommy hates yellow roses.” Even at three years old, Noah

understood his mother. His mother hated yellow roses, which disgusted

her, but he was too little to understand.

Mike was stunned. He didn't expect Nina to hate the yellow rose. He

wanted to bring a red rose, but he knew its meaning, so he decided to

go with the yellow rose, but who knew she hated it?

Mike put the flower down and smiled awkwardly. "Sorry, Miss Xiver, I

didn't know you hated yellow roses; it's okay; I'll give you another flower

bouquet later,” Mike said to break the ice; who knew the man behind

him was twisting his fists because someone had just stepped on his

tail?

Ace stared at Mike's back as if he wanted to stab Mike's back, but he

hid his expression and coughed. "What are you doing here?" Ace

asked him.

Mike turned his face and looked at his brother. "What do you think I'm

doing? I'm helping you." He gave Ace such a look that he wanted to

smack his head to throw his thoughts out.

"Get out,” Ace yelled at Mike; it was not new for Mike; he knew when

his brother got frustrated, he would scream to hide his mood, and Mike

smirked instead.

Seeing the changing expressions on both brothers’ faces, Adam

ignored these men and took Noah and Nina. "Nina, let's go." He hates

these men to the core.

Nina followed Adam without looking back; she had no idea how to react

in front of these men; she couldn't hate them, nor could she leave, so

she decided to ignore it for now.

After Nina left Noah, Mike looked at his brother. “Brother, you went to

receive Miss Xavier at the airport, yet you didn't take flowers with you;

how can you be a gentleman in Miss Xiver's eyes as Noah's dad? Can

you be more thoughtful?" Mike decided to strike before his brother

smacked his head, knowing his brother was angry.

Ace looked at Mike with an irritated expression. If possible, he wanted

to throw this man away from his life. Whenever he appeared, he would

say nonsense. He went to receive her because of his son. Does he

think he should welcome him with flowers like a husband waiting for his

wife at home?

Nonsense, he would never give flowers to anyone, especially Nina

Xiver; he was not mad.

“I'll give flowers to any girl in this world, but Nina Xiver, do you think I'm

insane?" Ace snorted as if he had heard the biggest joke of the year.

Mike smiled in his heart; he didn't do anything, but he just smirked; he

was ready to wait for the day when he saw his brother holding a

bouquet for his son's mother.

this to blackmail him to get his favorite reward from his brother, and

fearing Mike would spit everything in front of Nina, he would give away

his best jet to Mike)

Ace decided to ignore the man and walked toward the study.

Inside the study, he watched the airport video where the man bumped

into his son; he was not a fool not to understand what was going on;

even a man like Aiden noticed the unusual details in this accident; how

could a man like Ace Welsh who lived on top of a sword tip wouldn't

notice such a tricky action from a stranger?

Mike followed his brother; when he saw everything, he screamed in

surprise, "OMG, see how he hid the hankie like he was hiding a

treasure, brother. Don't you think he just wanted to get away with the

handkerchief?" Mike pointed out, and Ace's face showed the wrath of

hell; he gritted his teeth.

It seemed he was faster than Ace imagined, but Ace was not sleeping;

he already understood everything; it seemed the dog had already

smelled the scent, and he had already jumped on his action.

“Brother, do you want me to catch him back?" Mike's blood boiled.

"No need, just do what I asked you; you don't need to jump into action

to alert the enemy,” Ace said coldly; he already knew what would

happen once he brought his son back if he was not ready, he wouldn't

get Noah with him in public openly.

He knew what would happen, and he was very much ready for it, but

Nina's appearance was something he didn't plan, and he knew if

something happened to Nina Xiver in M country, David Xiver would

burn the entire thing to get revenge.

So he needed to protect both of them.

Mike nodded; he would do it without any question as long as the order

came from his brother. Mike left to do what his brother asked; he didn't

stay for dinner even though he wanted to stay, but his brother kicked

him out.

Since it was dinner time, Ace checked on Noah, an excuse for himself

to see what the mother and duo were doing in the room.

He didn't knock and entered the room directly; he didn't expect her to

see him smiling so brightly that his eyes glued on her in awe; her smile

was beautiful, like moonlight shining in the dark, creating a path for an

unknown destination.

Ace didn't realize he was too open and looked at her moving lips as

she laughed openly; he felt possessed by this sudden power, which

made him lose his senses.

Noah was telling a funny story because of his cute moves, which would

melt anyone's heart, and Nina was laughing at his cuteness. Her son

was so cute that she wanted to hide him in her heart.

She didn't notice someone entered until Noah jumped in. "Oh, Dad," he

said so softly that only Nina heard it; Nina was stunned. The smile

vanished from her lips, and she looked embarrassed; she was rolling

on the floor just now; she hurriedly stood up and fixed her clothes; no

matter how she had seen his face three times already, she still shivered

in fear.

This man was an absolute nightmare for her, yet she couldn't even

stand calmly in front of him; seeing her so afraid, his excellent mood

suddenly turned sour; damn it, why this woman acts weakly as if he

would eat her alive, he was not monster so why she acts like this?

"Noah needs to take his medicine after dinner, so he can't delay his

dinner." He held back his temper and said as calmly as possible.

Nina hurriedly nodded and grabbed Noah's hand. "Son, let's go,

mommy will feed you today." Nina took Noah and passed by Ace

without looking at him.

Ace looked at his back with a stormy expression; this girl avoided him

like he was a dangerous virus.

But then he remembered David Xiver's warning, which was sent to him

when Nina Xiver landed in M country; he better keep his distance from

his sister.

He could deny it, but he knew David Xiver would come to haunt him.

At the dinner table, Nina didn't care about the man around her; she only

fed her son and took a few bites of her food.

Her stomach was full of tension; how could she even have an appetite

for food? After the dinner, another guest, Theo Grayson, appeared.

Theo was there to give Noah his shot since only he could do it; even

Aiden was not allowed to give it to Noah since only Theo could do it

since he had been doing it for Ace for almost all of his doctor's life.

Theo was shocked to see Nina there. He looked at Eryx with raised

eyebrows, but Eryx ignored it.

Nina looked at Theo with a confused look; she felt she had seen this

man somewhere.

"Good to see you again, Miss Xiver." Theo raised his hand toward her

and said with a smile; his polite yet cranky smile refreshed a few

memories she almost forgot.

"The homeless doctor Grayson?" Nina said as she was trying to be

sure she wasn't wrong.

The man smiled; how she remembered him was unique; she still calls

him a homeless doctor, "Miss Xiver sure remembers me." Theo didn't

deny it; how could he deny it since he was the one who revealed to Ace

that he had a son now in this world, and his son needed him?

Nina's face darkened; she now remembered the man who saved Noah

that night, but now that she put two and two together, she understood

how Ace Welsh found out about Noah; her impression of Theo fell to

the ground, but when she remembered this man was her son's savior,

she decided not to take it to heart,

Theo smiled helplessly; how could he not notice the resentment in

Nina's eyes? He wanted to defend himself but found there was no way.

He sighed; it seemed his luck was out when he decided to clash

against David Xiver's sister; she sure holds grudges.

He looked at Ace and blamed him; if not for his ungrateful and heartless

friend, he would have never betrayed a human being, but since he

became friends with this man, he did everything that he didn't even do

for his own family.

Ace looked at Theo as if he had seen through his though Theo's

thought, he wanted to throw this idiot out of his villa so much.

"Just do your job." Eryx's cold voice sounded from behind as he coldly

gritted his teeth, he was really done with these two idiots.
