(Devil's Marriage Trap) Ace & Nina - Chapter 59 - He hated himself...!!!

“Are you angry?” A slightly adorable voice behind them caught them off

guard, and Ace and Mike turned to look at the little soul, looking at both

his uncle and daddy with pitiful expressions.

Ace and Mike refrigerated, and both immediately hid their expressions

and smiled gently at Noah.

“Son, what are you doing here? Did you finish your milk?” Ace asked to

ease the air; he would trade the world for this little soul before him.

Noah walked closer and looked at his father and uncle seriously. “Did

you fight? He asked as he looked at them suspiciously.

His seriousness amazed Mike. “Little buddy, you shouldn't be so

serious at such a young age.” He teased the boy, who acted like a big

man to show his seriousness.

"You are not allowed,” Noah said as he became even more severe, and

a frown appeared.

Both Ace and Mike were confused. When Noah saw them looking at

him confusedly, he cleared their confusion.

“You're not allowed to call me buddy. I have only one buddy, and we

can call each other this.” This was this little man’s lifeline.

He only likes it when David calls him buddy, not anyone else.

Sometimes, this little man even scolds Adam for calling him buddy.

Ace and Mike showed jealous expressions, their tongues tasting sour

inside their mouths. This boy was apparent in their blood, yet he was

more possessive toward Xiver, as if he would tear anyone apart for

stepping on his line.

“The DNA test was useless. His genes are more like a Xiver than your

genes, brother.” When Mike said this, his brother gave him the most

deadly glare, and Mike immediately shut his mouth.

Ace grabbed him and carried him into his embrace.

“Son, I'm going to a fun place after tomorrow. Would you like to go with

Daddy?” Mike's words surprised him. He thought his brother would

never take Noah with him to that hellish place, but it seemed he was

wrong about his brother's mindfulness nowadays.

He constantly changed his plan, and now even his sharp mind was

exhausted by his brother's lightning speed.

Once Ace informed everyone, everyone looked at him like they were

ready to rip him apart, especially Adam, but since Aiden warned him of

sending him back, he was trying his best to hold himself back.

“I'm doing everything I need to protect my son, so don't interfere. It

would be best not to do something funny when I'm saying this could be

critical for Noah.” He looked at Adam, who got even more furious when

he saw the knowing stares.

Nina looked at Noah but couldn't bring herself to say she also wanted

to go with her son because she knew if she went with him, she would

be a burden to them, and they might even need to take care of her.

Ace’s eyes were on Nina for a pausing moment. Something was going

on inside his head, which he didn’t know, but he didn’t say anything.

Days passed; just before the evening, when Ace was about to take

Noah with him, Theo appeared with his reports and put them in front of

Ace:

“All the things you want are here. Now read it on your responsibility

“cause you'll hate every bit.” Theo dug deep. He might be a doctor, but

he had his resources as a doctor, no matter how much David Xiver was

hidden under the ground.

Ace frowned and picked up the information files. Just like Theo said, he

would hate every part of this information. Every word in these papers

made him go through many emotions: anger, hatred, self-blame, and

fury. Even in his entire life, he had never felt so mad at himself this

much.

He always hated Damian Welsh, but he had never hated himself this

much until this date. After finishing the file, he had become enamored

with hatred for himself. He felt disgusted at doing something heinous to

the girl.

"She tried to kill herself.” He murmured, as his face darkened even

darker than the entire world’s dark hole.

Theo sighed. He understood Ace's changes. If he were in Ace's place,

he would also hate himself because they couldn't ignore this. He made

a girl's life a living hell.

She went through the worst punishment without any reason. Her fault

was that she went with the wrong man and fell for his sweet words.

“Where is that bastard right now? Find him for me.” Ace was talking

about Andrew, who went missing after he appeared in S country years

ago.

“I don’t think we need to find him anymore because no one could find

him on this earth anymore,” Theo said after knowing David Xiver might

have done something to Theo since he went missing just after he

appeared in S country a few months ago.

David was not someone who would leave any more left untouched after

they screwed his sister's life, it's just Ace is someone he needs for his

nephew, and that's why he didn’t mess with Ace.

Ace fisted his hand and gritted his teeth as if he wanted to crush them

into dust, but he barely held himself; David Xiver didn't leave anyone to

handle, only himself, making him even angrier. Yeah, he hated himself

but hated David Xiver even more now.

But he knows he has no right to hate him because it was his choice.

Yes, he had an option, but he didn’t want to see it even though it was

before his eyes.

He drowned in heterodox.

“I know you want to blame yourself, which is also correct, but now that

idea about her in your mind.”

Theo knew Ace from head to toe, so how could he not understand what

Ace was thinking in his mind?

Ace looked at Theo as if he wanted to shut his mouth forever; Theo

“Leave,” Ace said. Theo heard, and he left the room, leaving Ace in

her forgiveness.

But he knew it would sound fake after four years.

He fisted his hair and kept struggling. He remembered vividly how she

reacted when he touched her. Now, he could imagine how she reacts

around men, and now he understands why the Xivers and people

around her are so protective of her. They witnessed her pain and didn’t

want a flea around her.

He stayed in that dark room until someone knocked on the door. His

senses came, and a vision swept his eyes around him. Everything was

the same, but his mind became dark like the darkness in the room. For

the first time in his life, he felt so lost.

He lost to himself.

Mike, who appeared to pick up his brother and Noah, kept knocking,

not knowing that inside, his brother was trapped between guilt and self-

blame.

“Brother, are you not going? It's already 8 p.m.” Mike said, sitting in his

lounge. He wanted to hear No but was waiting for his brother's answer.

“Get out,” Ace growled slowly, but the entire room buzzed with a

dangerous vibe.

But Mike didn’t hear and kept banging; Ace stood up and opened the

door with a harsh pull, which frightened Mike.

Ace wanted to scold Mike, but his eyes fell on the person behind Mike,

and the words didn’t dare to leave his tongue.
