chapter 16

This chapter will be narrative style.Leah left the cafeteria angry and was followed by Leo.Leah was so angry at everyone that she didn’t realize where she was going, she kept on walking, and Leo was following her. She kept walking, not realizing she was at the courtyard. Leo said from a far in a worried tone “Leah wait up” Leah shouted “DON’T FOLLOW ME, haven’t you had your fun for the day.” She turned towards Leo and gestured Leo to stop following her. She then turns back and starts walking again quickly. Leo sees that this time she really is angry and runs towards her and suddenly comes in front of her due to which she comes at a halt. She tries to go left and right in order to squeeze her out of the place as she didn’t wanted to talk to him but he manages to  make her stay. Leo said with concern on his face “Leah just please wait for a minute, let’s talk.” while trying to hold her hands. Leah screamed “NO, I don’t want to and don’t touch me. I can’t believe what you did there. It really made me freak out but turns out you were just having fun. Do you realize what happened to me, NO, why would you… I know you love teasing me a lot but teasing is different than making a person dead worried. I swear I felt like kicking you that point of time. But for all of you guys it was fun. Did you even know….UGGGGHHHH….why am I still talking to you, move and let me go…” Leah yet being angry tries to escape her hand from his and he lets go and she continues to walk. Leo said with stern voice “You may leave now, but before leaving don’t you wanna know the reason behind what I did?” while still standing there and ensuring her to listen as she continued walking. Leah screamed “I already know it, coz YOU’RE CRAZY” while walking. “Yeah, you’re right about that, I’m crazy…CRAZY ABOUT YOU…” Leo shouted but in the most genuine way to express his feelings. Listening to him she halts. She was near the fountain and he came running towards her and said, “thank you for stopping” while panting and smiling at her. Her eyes and face were red. Her face showed anger but her eyes were glowing. They both stood there looking into each other’s eyes for few seconds but for them it could have been minutes and hours. It was like both their eyes was a pathway to their heart and were just communicating through eyes. They were into each other, until he finally took her hand into his for which she allowed it this time. It was around 10:30 no one was around over there. Just cool breeze, the two lovebirds, and the soothing voice of the water fountain. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you or your feelings.” said Leo in a genuine yet apologizing look. “Look I don’t know it’s just that you seem to be quite nice to everyone and everyone likes you and they always surround you…and…” Leo looks down while saying this as he felt weird tingling feeling inside him which he had not felt before. He may have teased, played around and done everything but being genuine was quite unnatural for him. It was like only Leah knew how to make him run around her and at the same time he being the most genuine and caring person for her. This feeling was new to him and he wished for it to stay for a very long time. “And?” questions Leah while looking confused. “And I… and I…. UGGGHHHH…. And I just hate it when people are surrounding you I just want you to be mine.” With all the unknown feelings that was going on inside says Leo. Hearing those words, Leah smiles at him, looking at her smiling, he smiles back, and they keeping looking into each other’s eyes.  “I get it if you don’t want to teach me, it’s just I wanted some time alone…just the two of us… but more than that I don’t want you to be angry at me so it’s okay, let’s call it off.” said Leo while feeling a bit depressed. Just as he finishes the bell rings, he says to her, “It’s time for class we need to go.” She asks him to go ahead. He nods and leaves, while he had reached almost half of the courtyard he hears her scream, “BE AT MY HOME BY 5 OR ELSE I WONT TEACH YOU, MR. DOUCHE” He turns around sees her laughing and run towards her and gives her a tight unexpected hug. “Thank you, Ms. Feisty. I can’t wait to come at your house now.” He whispers in her ears which gives a tingling feeling wanting more of that, she smiles and hugs him too. After their hug they walk hand in hand and go to their class. Meanwhile….Ryan and Angel were talking in the hallway while walking to their class. Unknown to them someone was listening to their conversation the most of the time and suddenly while they were walking they came at a halt. “Well, Well, Well”…… Someone kept their hand on Ryan’s and said that. They both turned around to look. It was Zach, he was panting and said while taking a deep breath, “Well… seriously guys, I was looking for you Angel. I checked everywhere. I thought you must have already reached your class but you guys are here. Phew! At least you’re here.” “Oh babe, what happened? We were going towards our class but I had to take my books before so I came here at the locker.” said Angel in a worried and confused look on her face. “Oh it’s nothing it’s just that you had forgotten your phone at the cafeteria” while handling over the phone to her said Zach. “Aww thanks babe” while taking the phone and kissing him on his cheeks said Angel. “Babe can I talk to you for a minute…alone??” asked Zach gesturing for her to come with him. “Oh I anyways had to take my books…so you guys go ahead and talk” said Ryan. Angel smiles and nods at him in terms of acceptance. After saying this he leaves them to talk while he went to his locker to take his books. His looker was not too far from where they stood and were talking. It was quite enough for Ryan to eavesdrop unwillingly or willingly at their conversation. He was into his books if others see him, but was actually listening to them. “What’s wrong babe? What did you wanna talk about?” looking confused at Zach asked Angel. “Oh… it’s actually about what Ryan said” looking serious at Angel and Ryan and then at Angel said Zach. “What about him?” asked Angel still looking confused about what he meant? “What did he mean by shouldn’t I ask you how you were? What happened to you? Is there something that I don’t know? Is there something that I should be worried about?” Hearing his words both Ryan and Angel were in sweat, luckily Ryan’s were not visible to Angel or Zach, but Angel’s were visible. She looks at Zach when he raises an eyebrow and she then tries to calm down and tell him. “I’m glad babe that you care about me, but you don’t have to worry about anything. If there is anything I will definitely tell you…But…come here” she pulls him towards her by his collar and kisses him. Looking at them getting cozy with each other he slams the door of his locker and leaves.  “Hmm it was sweet and I would love one more of it babe” said Zach while smirking. He pulls her close to him and quickly steals another kiss from her. They both smile and that is when the bell rings. “See you later babe” said Angel while blushing. “I’m dropping you to your house today right?” asked Zach. “Oh no. Babe Ryan needed some help so I will be staying back after classes for it. You go ahead. We will talk in the night.” “Cool babe, See you later.” said Zach They bid their farewells to each other and go to their classrooms for their classes. After almost two and half an hour and boring lectures, their classes were finally over. They come out of their classes and Angel tells Ryan, “Hey Ryan, I will quickly meet Zach and catch up with you at the courtyard at the fountain for studying.” “Cool bye” said Ryan. After saying that Angel left to quickly meet Zach and see him off while Ryan was walking towards the courtyard and he bumped into Mia at the hallway. “Hey Ryan we meeting up at your house today at 4 right?” asked Mia while blushing at Ryan. “Hey Mia! Yes, see you later at my house.” “Cool, see you later Ryan” she blushes while saying that and leaves and Ryan smiles at her and continues to walk at the fountain. Near the fountain there were few benches at a distance where Ryan went and sat. He removed his books and was waiting for Angel when she arrived. “Hey! I see someone is all ready for studying” said Angel while laughing. Hearing her words even Ryan laughs at it. “Ok cool so it will take I guess 1 or one and a half hour for us to finish as I’m just going to brush up the topics” said Angel and Ryan just nods at her. “Ok so chemistry kinetics is also known as reaction kinetics, it is the branch of physical chemistry that is concerned with understanding the rates of chemical reactions. It is to be contrasted with thermodynamics, which deals with the direction in which a process occurs but in itself tells nothing about its rate. We will be covering its importance, purpose and few equations that are in the syllabus for this test.” said Angel. Reader: (looking at the author angrily) ARE YOU SERIOUS? Are we seriously going to read Chemistry Kinetics now?????Ryan: Sshhh, I would love to hear anything from her. Her voice is like a sweet song echoing in my empty house…Reader: House??Ryan: I mean my heart…now Ssh let me listen to her…Reader: (in a sarcastic way) Yeah right. Ryan was just listening to her but his mind was just admiring at her. He kept looking at her and was in his thoughts. ‘I wish I could be with her, I wish she would be mine, I wish I could hold her and spend more time with her than doing all these tactics just to be with her alone. Her smile, her eyes, and her hair oof it’s just amazing. I just wish… I just wish I could be more to her… more than Zach has ever been. But is all this worth it, will she ever realize how much I love her? No matter what I will still love her from bottom of my heart’ thought Ryan. It had been almost 45 minutes, and unknown to him, his facial expressions were changing from happy to sad and again happy and all these were being noticed by the person sitting next to him. “Uhm Ryan! Are you there? Are you listening?” asks Angel. Ryan comes out from day dreaming and seeing this Angel laughs as to the fact he wasn’t listening. “I know it’s kinda boring but only last 15 minutes I promise and then you can probably go home.” said Angel. Hearing this he became alert. ‘In next 15-20 minutes is that it? The whole day he waited for her to listen and be alone with her but now it’s going to be over think Ryan think what can I do to make her stay with me for long? IDEA.’ He stayed for those few minutes to listen and when everything was over he said, “Hey, it’s almost lunch time why don’t we both grab some lunch together and then maybe I can drop you home.” “Ooo food, yes, absolutely, sounds good to me always… I’m anyways hungry. Let’s go” said Angel excitedly almost as if food was the only thing that could make her happy. She surely seemed excited and seeing her excited he was too. They both walk towards the hallway unknown to them no one was around except someone was there who could spoil their mood. “Oh well hello there. I heard my bestie missed me.” It was Viki in sarcastic tone. They hear her as she was in front of them with her minions. Angel was about to say something when Ryan takes her hand into his and signals her to just follow him and they continue walking. Viki turns around now to face their back and said “Ooo lover boy strikes again… seems like the lover boy and her damsel in distress can’t hear me…MAY BE THEY MIGHT IF I SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THE PA...” feeling proud and happy while annoying them but before she could finish her sentence Ryan stopped and so did Angel. Ryan turns towards her and tells her, “Oh dear Viki we very much can hear you but we choose to ignore you just like someone ignores their alarm in the morning. Now if you want to continue doing this game, we have all day to do so but let me think at what cost would that be? NOT for us but FOR YOU. Remember what I had said the other day. We two can play this game of past but if you don’t want your past to be come out then it works both ways. So Shut up and back off and let us both go in our ways… You don’t come into our way and we won’t come in yours. I know it will take some time to process this whole thing inside your little brain which I doubt that exists but still ensure you get this straight and goodbye.” He said this while being angry and ensuring she gets word to word in her little brain and turns back towards Angel holds her by her hands and exits. Angel looks at him in an astonished way and smiles at him and gestures ‘WOW not bad’ and he smiles and chuckles at her. On their way out they hear Viki just getting frustrated and they laugh when they are outside the campus. After few minutes they finally reach the restaurant near the campus.  Hey guys!!! That’s it for now let’s see how the rest turns out to be. How will their lunch be? What will happen between Mia and Ryan when he tutors her? What will happen between Leo and Leah?
