chapter 8

Ryan's POVIt was Justin. I picked up the phone and said "Hey bro! What's up?"Justin replied "I am good bro. I saw your missed call. Anything wrong?"I was too scared to ask him since he must be busy with his schedules and other things. But there is no harm in trying.I took a deep breath and said "Yes bro, there is something I needed to ask you."Justin replied "Yes bro tell me."I said "I need you to perform a private concert for my best-friend Angel. It is her birthday tomorrow. I know it is too soon to ask but could you spare few hours please. She is a huge fan of yours."I heard Justin chuckling and he said "Sure bro anything for you. I am free anyways tomorrow so I can perform. I assume your best-friend is special to you."I blushed "Yes she is special indeed."I could hear him chuckle on other end. He replied "I will come but at what time and how do I appear?"I said "The party starts at 8pm. You can come around 8:30pm, I will meet you at the entrance of the hotel we booked near the beach and I can help you sneak towards one of the rooms, do cover your face and then you can change in one of the rooms. Around 9pm you can show yourself by singing."Justin was listening carefully. After I finished explaining he said "Okay done bro."I said "See you tomorrow dude. I will text you the address."Justin said "Sure. See you bro!" and he disconnected the call.I texted him the address of the hotel and kept the phone aside and went to open my closet where I hid the painting and book. I had ordered a tiffany bracelet for her and the package was arriving today.I was collecting the book and the painting when I heard the doorbell. I thought it must be the package so I asked Zach to open the door. He said ok and went to open the door.As he was about to open the other end of the door spoke "Ryan, Rhea?? Is anybody home?" It was Angel. Zach heard and he didn't open the door and he rushed upstairs towards my room. I was surprised to see his scared look.Zach said "Help me hide Ryan, Angel is down."Again she called "Hello, is anyone there ?" This time I too heard her voice from up.I freaked out when the voice was Angel's and the book and painting fell from my hands. I could hear Zach calling out to me to go down and open the door.I tell you he is an idiot. I mean, who calls out when they least want to be exposed. I still wonder why Angel likes him the day she finds out about her birthday plans were never his she will be heartbroken. I sighed when I heard him say again "Bro! Can you hear me? Can you come and help me hide and open the door or ask Angel to leave." I regained my consciousness and kept the painting aside to go downstairsWhile going downstairs, I tell him to go and hide somewhere in my room, he nodded and I went down. Angel would quite obviously be tired ringing the doorbell so I rush towards her and opened the door. As I opened I saw her surprised face. Oops I hope I come up with a lie.Angel looked at me with astonishment. She said "Hey what took you so long?" I replied in a scared tone "Sorry about that, I was upstairs in the washroom." I was nervous when she was around. I hope she doesn't find Zach here.Angel said "Okay."I asked "So what brings you here?"Angel smiled at me and replied "I wanted to see you and Rhea. I thought I should visit you guys and spend sometime before I go and prepare things for my birthday."I smiled at her. Inside me, I was wanting to hold her, to kiss her, to love her, but I had to control. Her smile. I love it. I smiled back and said "She is upstairs."Angel said "Ok! Then I'm going up. See you later."I was tensed. She might find Zach up and everything will be ruined. I shouted "NOOO!!"Angel turned and looked at me with her one eyebrow up. She asked "Huh? Is everything alright?"I was sweating. I said "Yeah! I...I..."Angel was looking worried. She asked "You??? Ryan is everything ok?"Me: "Yes, I just..." before I could complete a message, her phone interrupted.Angel looked at her phone and read the message. She sighed and said "Its Rhea, she says she is outside and she told to wait in the living room till she gets back. Ryan why you told me that she is up?"I was confused when she said that. I swear I saw her up in her room before I came down. Maybe she heard me shouting that's why she must of messaged her. I thanked Rhea in my mind for saving my ass. I took a deep breath and said "I guess I didn't notice when she went outside."Angel smiled and said "Cool, Ryan could you please get me some water?"I smiled and said "Yeah. Have a seat in living room while I bring it." She nodded and sat down and I walked towards kitchen to get her some water. While I was filling the glass, I heard her saying "I am going upstairs to your room." and she started to go upstairs. I panicked when she said that since I didn't want her to catch Zach so I quickly filled the glass and rushed upstairs. I hoped that she doesn't open my room but it was too late. Hey guys!!! I know this is a short chapter but trust me the next one will be longer than this.Also what do you think will happen? Will Angel find out about Zach? Will Zach be exposed? Is Angel going to be heartbroken? What will she do now?
