I looked back over at Kiari noticing him coming closer. "My type isn't mixed girls if that's what you're thinking about. My type is brownskin girls, with pretty light brown doe eyes, shy but once you get to know her that's out the window, pretty white teeth with a beautiful smile and big two toned lips that always stays glossed." Kiari eyes went to my lips making me bite my lip trying to hide my smile.

He caught me off guard with the confession because I knew that I liked him but I never thought that he would like me back. After the pool I knew he had to have some type of feelings for me but then again, in a boys mind touching a girls thigh and between the thigh doesn't mean to shit to them while it meant a lot to the girl.

But it meant something to him.

His arms wrapped around my waist as he looked my eyes. My eyes went down to his big lips. I always wanted to kiss them. So I did.

I connected my lips to his and they were soft. He immediately kissed me back and he kissed good. It was slow as i started to deepen it, showing him exactly how I felt into the kiss. My arms wrapped around his neck and he smiled into the kiss before giving me one last peck than breaking it.

"Didn't think you would kiss me first. So I'm guessing you do like me?" He smiles. He had a genuine smile on that showed his dimples and all.

"Duh." I looked at him he's crazy and he chuckled and gave me another peck.

"I like your lips." He gives me another peck making me laugh and smush his head away.

"I want to go slow though. I don't want to just jump into a relationship, especially if I don't even know how Kam would react." I said and he nods.

"Aaliyah was her friend and she wasn't too mad but I understand on the going slow part. We can wait as long as you need." He says making me smile.

"Wait why did her and Aaliyah stop being friends?" I furrow my brows because I remembered her saying something like that at the game.

"She won't tell me. I think she thought it would ruin my and Aaliyah relationship so you have to ask her." He says and I nod and just then there was a knock on the door making us quickly jump back.

"Kiari, your food downstairs." Amir voice said through the door.

"Alright. I'm coming." He says.

We waited until he left and then I grabbed my phone.

"I'm going downstairs but don't follow me to close behind." I say to him before opening the door and as soon as I walked out I was a smiling mess.

Walking in the kitchen, I saw that they had got Popeyes.

"Where's Kiari?" Kam asks me.

"I don't know? Why are you asking me." I avoid eye contact with her as I grabbed a plate.

"I don't know? Because y'all friends and always with each other." Kam raised her eyebrow at me and I heard Isaiah cough beside me making me glare at him.

Kiari had finally came downstairs. "Kiari I was trying to tell you that mom texted and told us to come next friday because she has to have her party a little earlier because of work." Kam says to him.

"Alright that's cool." He shrugs.

"Don't we have practice next Friday?" Amir asks.

"Couch cancelled practice all next weekend, and don't ask me why because I don't know why." Isaiah says.

"Oh my gosh. Riani you have to come to. Amir and Isaiah is going since my mom invited them so now you have to definitely come." Kam happily says.

"Woahh. I'm not even invited first off." I snuck a glance at Kiari and he was smiling like he was happy with the idea to.

"My mom would definitely love to meet my bestie. You know what, I'm texting her right now." She pulls her phone out.

"I think you should come to. Our mom is nice and it's mainly just family and friends. She even invited some people she doesn't even fuck with so she wouldn't mind you." Kiari shrugs.

"Exactly." Kam said.

"What type of party is it?" I asked.

"Outdoor barbecue, cookout type party." Kiari says and I nod.

"My mom said yes ayeee." Kam hugs me making me laugh.

"What we doing for halloween though." Amir asks. Halloween was in about two weeks.

"Aren't we going to that Halloween costume party that Dylan always be having? It's his last year so I think he said it's gone be bigger this year like in some type of mansion." Kam said.

"Oh shit i forgot." Amir says.

"Dylan said Freshman and sophomore aren't allowed this year." Kiari shrugs while eating making Kam slowly turn to him with a glare.

"I know what he said and imma go anyways." Kam shrugs.

"Security gone be outside with a list." Isaiah then said.

"Well security gone let my pretty ass in." Kam says making Kiari gag.

They look just a like so I don't know what he gagging for. If I didn't know there she difference I would have definitely thought they were twins, especially with Kams height so she looks bout like his age.

"Riani, watch them let us in." Kam says and I raised my brow cause I don't know if they'll really let us in.

"Riani yes, Kam no." Isaiah says and she punched his shoulder making him groan.

I was now back home and I just got off the shower. I washed my face then put Vaseline on my face. I threw on an oversized tee shirt and immediately got in bed because man it's been a long nighttt.

I turned my lights off and my tv on then turned on my side to close my eyes but as soon as I did a call came from my phone making me groan and ignore it but the person kept calling making me turn back around and saw it was Kiari calling.

That instantly woke me up a little and I answered.

"Why did it take 4 calls for you to answer." Kiari immediately says when the call connects.

"Because it's almost 11pm and I was half sleep and you woke me upp." I huff.

"Well I miss you so can you put your face in the camera." He says.

"I just saw you a hour ago."

"Exactly, now put your face in the camera." He says making me playfully roll my eyes then put my face in the camera and he smiles while I had a straight face on.

He blows a kiss in the camera making me laugh. He really making it known that he likes me now.

"You get to meet my mom next week and you were all over there looking nervous."

"Would if she doesn't like me then what. I'm going to be staying the weekend at someone's house who doesn't even like m-"

"Your thinking to deep. My mom is nice, she can maybe be a little too blunt sometimes but she's overall nice." He says making me groan.

"I swear she's cool people's. If I like you then she'll definitely like you." He said.

"Ughhh." I lay back down but still hold the camera to my face but a little more in the upper part.

"The pool messed my hair up. Are you going to retwist it before we go?" He asked.

"Mhm. What day?" I asked yawning.

"Thursday after school." He says and I just nod closing my eyes.

"Your sleepy?" He asks and I nod.

"Me too then." He turns his light off and lays down.

"You gone stay on the phone?" I ask him.

"Of course." He said making me smile.
