Chapter 13

" So, how do you like the present I sent you Luna Serenity? "

I feel so sick right now. This was because of him? Anger, confusion and sadness started to rise in my system.

" Why are you doing this? " I said with a deeper tone.

He chuckled " Woah, when did you gain this much confidence? Last time I remember speaking to you, you couldn't even look me in the eye. But don't worry this is just the beginning my little shifter "

I could literally feel my blood pressure rising. Why is he threatening me? He wants to destroy everything in my life. I finally couldn't hold it in. I screamed an ear screeching scream into the phone that made my voice crack.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! "

" Hmm I knew I could bring the crazy out of you. Only a matter of time until Alexander realizes it as well " He said like this was all some kind of joke. I squeezed the phone in my hand and threw it against the nearest wall making it shatter into pieces. I started gripping my hair in my hands and I fell to my knees.

What does he mean the crazy inside of me? What does he mean Alexander will realize it as well? What does he want from me? Well obviously he wants to kill me but why won't he stop? I heard the bathroom door open and someone stepping in. I stared at the ground and sighed. The person who walked in came in front and picked me up. I could tell it was Alexander. I clung to him as hard as I could and he started to rub my back and he was whispering sweet nothings in my ear.

We started walking out of the safe room and to our room I assume. My assumption was correct when he opened the door and I smelt the familiar sent of him. He went over to the sofa and sat down with me straddling him. I looked up at him and smiled. He didn't have a single scratch on him. I ran my fingers through his hair.

" You're ok " I said which made him chuckle.

" Kitten your dealing with the most dangerous Alpha in the world. Nothing's gonna hurt me. "

" Did a-any pack members......y-you know? " I said playing with my hands.

" Nope. A few scratches here and there but they're all alive. The attackers however not so much. All of them are dead but we have 3 held hostage. " He said which made me sigh in relief. I'm happy they're all ok. Should I tell him about Alpha Briggs or not? He would be mad if I didn't but if I did he would surely leave me to go fight him. I don't want him to leave but I also don't want to lie. I was squirming in his hold while thinking of my dilemma and I think he noticed.

" Everything ok kitten? " He said looking straight through me.

" U-um....." I said and he raised one eyebrow. I know he can tell if I'm lying so what's the point.

" I uh, g-got a call a-and A-Alpha Briggs is responsible for the a-attack " I said trying to avoid eye contact. I felt his body rumble and he growled harshly. He sat me on the sofa and stood up abruptly and started pacing the floor.

" I knew that fucker had something to do with this. What hell am I gonna do abou- " and he stopped in his tracks and snapped his fingers as an idea roamed his head. He looked towards me and smirked.

" I'm killing the fucker. And I'm gonna start by getting the warriors ready so we can leave by tomorrow night " He said which made my eyes widen.

" W-what? " I said standing slowly.

" It's perfect. He won't expect a direct attack right after he's conducted one " He said still grinning sadistically.

" W-what? " I got in his face and started to tear up. He looked at me again and his face softened. He pulled me into a hug.

" Kitten you'll be here with Charlie you'll be ok...." I pulled away from the hugged and looked him straight in the eyes.

" W-what? " I said for the third time confused as to why he thought he was leaving me for however long and god knows if he'll even return.

" Kitten everything is going to be ok. If we don't attack now we might never get an opportunity like this " He pulled me closer and sighed. " You have to trust me on this....." I sighed and nodded my head. Not like I could stop him. He led me over to the bed and we both got in snuggling.

As we were about to fall asleep an idea came to my mind and I smiled happily letting the darkness take over my eyes.

It was 8 in the morning and I was making my way to Charlie's room. For once I'm happy Alexander left me in bed alone. I opened her door and rolled my eyes. She was still sleeping. I grabbed a pillow off her chair and made my way to her bed. I jumped onto her torso and started beating her head with the pillow.

" Wake up. Wake up. Wake up " I started to chant annoyingly in her ear. After a couple seconds she finally opened her eyes and scowled at me.

" What the actual fuck do you want Ren? " I got off her and smiled.

" Your gonna help me out with something and if it works you can come too " She sat up and ran her hand through her hair.

" What do you mean I can come with? "

I sighed. " I don't want you to get upset but....... Zandy is planning on attacking Alpha Briggs' and he's leaving with the pack warriors tomorrow morning. "

She stood up on her knees and frowned. " Not with my Liam right? " I looked over to to her nodded my head softly.

" I know how hard it is to be without our mates so I need your help to figure out a way to go with them, without them knowing. "

She thought for a second and clapped her hands smiling " I know someone who can help. We got to get ready fast though we're loosing daylight. " I nodded my head quickly and we ran into the bathroom to get ready.

* Ten minutes later *

(Serenity in white, Charlie in black)

We had our clothes on and our hair in ponytails and we were ready to go. We were about to leave when we heard shuffling outside the door and the sound of Nate's voice.

" Dammit why did Alexander make Nate our babysitter? Now we'll never be able to leave " Charlie said throwing her hands in the air. I looked around frowning and smirked.

I looked back at Charlie and spoke " Who said anything about going through the door? " She looked back at me and smiled. We made our way to the window and she opened it. I went out first and she grabbed my hand. I pulled her out and we started making our way down the house on the windows.

She laughed. " You know Ren I'm liking this adventurous side a lot more than your usual side. No offense "

I smiled as we reached the ground " None taken now what's next? "

" We need to get to the trees but how are we gonna do that? There are literal guards at every corner "

" You leave that to me kitten " I said crossing my arms. She turned towards me and frowned.

" Wait aren't you a kitten? Because that didn't really make sense "

" It was supposed to be funny now it's not. Let's just go " I grabbed her hand and we made our way to the garage. There was a straight path to the trees which was blocked by one guard.

Charlie put her hand up and looked at me " I got this one " She walked behind the guy and started creeping up on him. I stayed hot on her trail as my heart was pumping with fear. She jumped on his back which startled him and put her hand around his mouth and two fingers at his neck. As he was putting up a fight he slowly got tired and she started shushing him.

" Shhhshhhshhh.....go to sleep " and he fell to the floor knocked out. She hopped off his back and dusted herself off.

She turned towards me. " Alright lets go "

I nodded my head and we started going towards the trees. Once we got there she stopped. I looked through and saw guards again. Why can't they just go away?

" How are we gonna get through? Guards are still literally everywhere...." I said turning towards her.

" But are they up above? " She said pointing up and I got confused. I looked up and just saw branches from the trees. I looked back at her and saw no one there. I heard a small bark and I looked down. She shifted and her clothes were now in her mouth. She starter climbing up the tree, signaling me with her head to come up as well. Still confused I shifted and grabbed my clothes and followed her. When we reached the top she nodded her head towards a branch. I tilted my head at her still very very confused. She hopped from branch to branch at least 5 times and looked back as if sarcastically asking if I understood now. So we're traveling through the air.......makes much more sense now.

I started to hop along with her and it went on for about 5 minutes until she stopped. She climbed down with me following her and we shifted and put are clothes back on. Once we finished I finally got a view of where we were.

This pack village was more than just a small village.....maybe a pack town. We started walking and I could see some kids playing in a playground and people walking around.

I looked over to Charlie and asked " Where are we going now? " She smirked and looked over to me.

" Over a special friend of mines " I just nodded my head and we kept going. Then suddenly we both fell as we were being tackled. Then suddenly.............
