Chapter 16

She giggled to herself and said " Oh hi Zandy!! " And in slow motion I saw her pick up the knife from his chest and throw towards my face.

I quickly ducked from the incoming knife and stared at her in shock. She did not just.....I didn't even have time to think because she grabbed the knife from her mothers skull and threw it at me as well. I ducked once again and heard her giggle again. If it wasn't for her being a bit crazy right now she would already be over my knee.

I went up to her and she looked up at me innocently. She hugged my leg and smiled.

" ZANDYYYYY " She said cheerful yet deadly and let go of me going back to her parents bodies. She picked up one of her mother's arms and started waving it at herself. She waved back still smiling. She then crawled over to her father and made his lips move as if he was talking and she was mumbling incoherent things.

Ok I've had enough of this brutal shit. I picked her up over my shoulder walking towards the exit and she laid still for a second. Until suddenly she bit my arm so hard that it drew blood and I dropped her on the floor by accident. Which did not affect her at all. She got up and grabbed the nearest vase ready to through to at me.

But me being faster than her, I took it out of her hand throwing it somewhere else and picked her up on my hip holding her hands behind her back.

' Hey Alexander everything is done and we're ready to leave ' I heard Jaxon mind link me.

' Excellent..  um do me a favor and have some rope ready for me when I come '

' Why? ' He asked.

I sighed and looked down at my little messed up kitten who was thrashing in my arms. ' Just do it ' I said closing the link. When I opened the door I felt her give me a few kitten licks on my neck and I just growled. This is not the time to be getting hard again Alexander.

' Like you ever went soft ' I heard Xander mimic me in my head. I rolled my eyes at him and continued walking. About 5 more minutes of me walking and kitten jumping around in my arms trying to bite me, we finally made it to the SUVs. Every pack member here was dead and there were dead wolves everywhere.

Jaxon came up to me with Nate and they looked confused. They looked from me to kitten (who was still trying to bite me) to the bite on my arm to my semi-hard on and back to my face with their eyes in complete shock.

I took the rope from Jaxon and mumbled " Don't ask ". I tied her arms together and set her on the ground. Just as I did she was ready to take off but I grabbed her forearm and brung her back to me.

" Ok what the actual fuck? " Nate said looking extremely confused.

I sighed " It's kinda hard to explain "

Jaxon looked down and smirked " Yeah it is kinda hard "

I snapped my finger in his face " You're not helping! "

" How did this even happen? " Nate asked.

" Long story short they hitched a ride in the car to come follow us. Then they separated and Charlie started going crazy. Then I followed kittens scent which led me to a house and when I entered it she was killing her parents and eventually tried to kill me. Multiple times. " I said mumbling the last part and looking down to see her still trying to bite me while I was holding her arm.

Just then I heard someone growl extremely loud. " HE'S MINE!!! " We all looked over to see Charlie sitting in Liam's lap while sharpening her knives. Liam was trying to calm her down and the warriors were backing away slowly.

" And that's another problem we have right now " Nate said as he and Jaxon turned back to me. I sighed and walked over to them dragging kitten along as they walked behind us. Once we reached Liam he looked up at me and sighed.

' She won't let me get up and she's been playing with her knives ' He mind linked me and I just nodded. I looked down to Charlie to her twirling a knife in her hand. She looked up and finally noticed us. Then she looked over to kitten who was trying oh so hard to take the ropes off of herself.

" WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING TO REN! WHY IS SHE TIED UP!? THIS IS NOT HOW YOU SHOULD BE TREATING HER! " She said as she walked up to kitten and cut her ropes open with her knife.

" RUN, BE FREE REN. GO GO GO! " Charlie said which made kitten smile and give her a hug before sprinting off into the forest. So she hugs Charlie but tries to kill me? Fair enough.

I growled before taking off after kitten and grabbing her before she made it too far. I walked back with her in my arms and when I reached them Nate pulled out some more rope for me and I nodded my head at him starting to tie her up again.

" Tie her up too " I said my eyes drifting to Charlie who was standing and still twirling her knife. Liam came up behind her grabbing her waist and started whispering in her ear which made her melted in his hold. Jaxon took that as an opportunity to take the knife out her hand and tie her hands with the rope. Liam started stroking her arm making her relax a bit and looked up to face us.

" Damn you guys have basically sadists for mates " Jaxon said and I rolled my eyes at him. Suddenly I was mind linked from my second warrior in command from the pack. Liam's the first and I have 3 more.

' Alpha theres been a rogue attack....I only have 300 men ready. I don't know if there'll be more incoming. ' I groaned. Now we definitely can't go back with kitten and Charlie being so insane.

' Alright I'll be sending some warriors out don't worry ' I said back in the link and turned to the guys. It must have been an open link because they were standing waiting for what I was going to say next.

" Jaxon, Nate send about 200 of our wolves to the pack and keep the rest with us. There's been a problem and we need to fix it. " They nodded there heads and walked to the group. Me and Liam slowly put the girls in the car trying not to make them go off again and put the seatbelt on them.

We both stepped out and closed the doors. Jaxon and Nate came back and I already saw cars starting to leave and wolves taking off.

" What now? " Liam asked.

" With the state that kitten is in right now I don't think it's safe to keep her in this area or take her back to the pack with the rogue issue. We're gonna have to go somewhere else and I don't think your gonna like it " I said and they all groaned.

" You don't mean- " I heard Jaxon whine and I nodded my head.

" Yes I do. Now let's move. " They groan and all got in the car. I did a dog whistle which made everyone hop in the car and some wolves started taking off into the direction we were headed. I had to make sure kitten and Charlie sat between two of the guys because at the moment they were both stable but at any given time kitten could go off and trigger her psychotic best friend. I started the engine and took off.

So now we are going to the one place we hoped to never return to. Our parent's pack.

* 1 hour later *

A couple times during the ride kitten tried to bite off Nate's ear and kick Jaxon in the place where the sun most definitely does not shine. But as of right now she was just anxious and started growling.

We pulled up to our parents pack house and I could see the looks of confusion on the faces of the people around us. We all got out and I grabbed kitten's forearm once more as we made our way to the door. Everyone stared at us in either shock, surprise or fear. I wouldn't blame them. Seeing their alpha's son (who is the strongest alpha in the world might I add) come unannounced with the sons of their betas, gammas and warriors. On top of that their betas daughter was clinging onto Liam and growling like a bear, 50+ warriors walking behind us and my kitten who was ready to run and kill everyone in sight. Yeah I don't blame them.

I opened the door without knocking and we all proceeded to fill up the living room. I heard footsteps and a loud growl.

" Linda I have just been informed that there is a disturbance in the pack. Please make sure the children are safe and call the- " When he stepped into the room he stopped. He was in total shock. He looked from me to everyone else piled behind then back to me. He growled and physically shook.

" NO NO NO NO NO! WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU HERE?!? " He said walking closer and point a finger at me. He stopped for a second and sniffed the air. His eyes turned black as he looked a kitten who's eyes were just as black as his.

" AND YOU HAVE THE FUCKING AUDACITY TO BRING A DAMN SHIFTER IN HERE?!?! AND WHY THE FUCK IS SHE HOLDING A KNIFE!!! " He said pointing to Charlie. Liam took it out of her hand and picked her up on his hip to make sure she doesn't do anything else. Just then his father came in with Jaxon's and Nate's. They looked just as surprised as my father.

" You know I could end your life right now if I wanted to. " He said coming in my face. He wasn't wrong. I knew he could but he wouldn't. As if out of no where kitten bit my arm in the same spot again which made me let go of her and she pushed my father back with an incredible amount of force even with her hands tied together. He stumbled back and looked at her with his eyes filled with shock and anger. He walked up to her and grabbed her by the neck.

I growled at him " Stop. If you so much as squeeze her neck I will kill you myself. " He looked at me and smiled.

" Now why would I let go of this ferocious, beautiful creature? "

I was now furious. If it wasn't the self control I had I would have ripped his arm off. I walked up to him and took his arm rather harshly throwing it off her neck. I grabbed her forearm once more and looked him in the eye.

" She's my mate. " His eyes grew wide and the fathers who had watched this entire time walked up to us wide eyed as well.

" I am here because we just invaded her former pack and she intentionally killed both of her parents while in this state of mind. We can't go back to my pack because there is a rogue issue and I don't need her adding anymore trouble to the situation. You are also the only person I know who knows how to fix her kind without actually killing them. "

He looked at me dead in my eye and before he could say anything I heard the angelic voice of my mother speak.

" Lennox stop being so difficult. Help your son " Everyone turned to see my mother and the mothers of Liam, Nate and Jaxon smiling softly at use while walking away. We turned our heads back and my father sighed.

" Okay.....I will help you " I smirked at him and he did the same back to me.

" Now that thats out of the way....What's wrong with my daughter? " Charlie's father said pointing to her as she snuggled into Liam stroking his hair cold-bloodedly but heartwarmingly at the same time.

" We found out Liam is her mate and she's feeling a little possessive and ruthless hence she just went on a mini killing streak " Jaxon said.

" Ah that makes sense " My father said and he made a gesture with his hand as if to follow him. I did a dog whistle which made all the warriors leave to guard the pack house leaving Jaxon, Nate, Liam and Charlie to follow behind. Our fathers led the way to where we were going and we started to go into the basement. As we reached the bottom of the steps my father spoke up.

" Since this is your mate I believe all methods of restoring her mind that involve cruelty will be out of the picture so the only other method I have for you is...." He said as we reached the end of the dark hall and came faced with a steel door. He opened it with a combination and we walked in " isolation ".

The room was dim and black. It had a chair in the middle of the floor with ropes and handcuffs. I look around but noticed the celling went up a bit. I looked up to see huge tinted windows of what I assume is the control room. We can't see in there but they can see in here..... interesting.

I walked over to the chair and sat her down. She started grinning menacingly and tried to bite me again. She likes to bite...a lot and she does it quite hard too. My arm was still bleeding but it didn't effect me. She then started crying and thrashing around.

" Kitten..... listen to me " I said crouching down to her face. She looked at me with cold eyes and growled.

" Kitten listen to me. " I said a bit louder and she just carried on crying, growling and laughing. She kicked me in the stomach which made me groan and look back at her with eyes darker than hers. I grabbed her jaw and yelled in her face.

" SERENITY!!!! " Everyone flinched and I saw their eyes widen. I've never used her name, only simple pet names and the first time I use it I'm screaming at her. Oddly enough she looked up at me in shock and her eyes stated to flicker brown and black. Her body was twitching and she looked around frantically.

" Z-Z-Zandy w-w-whats h-h-happenin-g? I-I'm s-scared. P-p-please h-help m-m-me. " She started crying and leaned into my neck still shaking and twitching. My father came around curiously and watched from a distance

" Listen to me ok " I pulled her out of my neck and she nodded her head like the good girl I know she is.

" You need to fight this ok? " I said and she shook her head at me still crying.

" I-It's h-h-her. S-s-she, she went c-crazy. I-I promise i-it w-wasn't m-me! I-I'm y-your g-g-good little k-kitten r-right? R-right? " She asked her eyes still going back and forth from black to brown.

I cooed at her and stroked her messy hair. " Yes baby you're my good little kitten baby. I know you are. Now who went crazy baby? " She looked around breathing heavily and whimpered.

" I-It w-was S-S-Sarah. S-she's m-m-mad at m-my p-parents and a-at y-you. B-but n-not me! I-I'm n-not m-mad Z-Z-Zandy I p-promise " She said starting to hiccup. I shushed her and rubbed her back.

" I know baby. I need you to be strong and fight this. Do you think you can do it? Hmmm kitten? " I asked her and she nodded her head at me still crying.

" I-I w-will t-try " She sniffed and sobbed. " I-I l-love y-you Z-Zandy. " She said and my heart shattered seeing the pain in her.

" I love you too kitten " I gave her a kiss on the head and not even a second passed and she growled once again. I backed up and looked to see her eyes black again.

" You fucker! Now she's trying to get out! Do you know what you've done? " Sarah I'm assuming yelled at me.

" Yes I do. I don't know what the fuck you think you're doing but that shit ends now! " I said looking her dead in the eye.

She giggled and bit her lip " I bite you, I kick you and I insult you but you do nothing. That just goes to show that you love me......So tell me Alexander....Am I still your Darling Little Kitten? "
