Chapter 20

He sighed softly and spoke to her " Call Ava now. "

Ava's POV

It was 10 AM and I was in my room pulling on some sweatpants. There's still a rogue situation so most of the females, children and elderly are not permitted outside. I walked down the stairs and walked to the kitchen. I still had a lot of shit to fix in my potion cabinet that was slowly becoming too full. I reached for the top shelf and started pulling the bottles out. After pulling out a few I heard a whistle behind me.

" Damn mami, all that ass " I rolled my eyes.

" Shut up Desmond " I said as I turned to the fucker. Even though he was adorable he was still a pain in the ass.

" Finally cleaning that cabinet I see " He said and I nodded my head.

" Yep. I'm starting to get sick and tired of the crows feet smell in here from the potion that broke last week " I said as I turned back to continue cleaning.

" Yeah I could help if I wasn't a fucking bunny. " He said glaring at me.

I laughed " Still on this subject are we? "

" Still on this subject??? I'm a fucking bunny goddammit! And you don't even know how to change me back. " I turned towards him and pointed my finger.

" You started this shit. Being the smartest enchanter in Durmstrang, trying to get into big high schools and colleges, trying to leave your best friend. Yeah buddy that wasn't happening. "

" Ok but you can't just turn me into a fucking bunny because I wanted to go to another college "

" Well life doesn't always give you lemons. In your case it gave you limes so suck it up " I said finally finding where the crows feet fell.

" Whatever. If being a bunny means I'll get this view then so be it. " I turned back and just looked at him. Such a dirty, dirty bunny.

I heard my phone ring in my pocket and I pulled it out. Charlie? Why the hell is she calling me? I answered it and put it up to my ear.

" Hello? "

" Ava you need to get over here quick! "

" Why what's wrong? " I said and in the corner of my eye I could see Desmond getting closer trying to listen to the conversation. I pushed him away and went back to listening.

" Ren's going through heat right now and Alexander can't do...the thing because she's still going to be in pain "

" Alright I'll be there soon " I said as I hung up the phone. The reason why she didn't just mind link me is because being half wolf and all, it hurts like a bitch. I ran to my room and grabbed my infinite bag. Which means a purse that doesn't get full, EVER. I ran back down the stairs and took all the important potions I would need and stuffed them in my bag. Out the corner of my eye I could see Desmond coming towards me but he was dragging something. I looked to see it was the Alpha heat potion.

I grabbed it from his teeth and gave him a small kiss on the head.

" Thanks Des " He hopped back onto the counter.

" Don't mention it mami " He said and I rolled my eyes while smiling and finished putting all of the necessities in the bag. I ran towards the stairs but stopped at the ear piercing yell that came through the walls.

" MOMMY!!! DADDY!!! " I looked to see it was the house across the street and the front door was broken down. I looked towards Desmond to see if he thought I should go investigate. Which the fucker thought I should.

" Ughh fine. Gotta go all inspector gadget and shit. " I ran out of the house, in my fluffy socks might I add and I reach the entrance. I saw two dead bodies that looked gruesome and in the corner there was a wolf cornering a small little girl who looked afraid.

She made eye contact with me for a second but I put my finger up to my lip. She looked back at the wolf and whimpered.

" P-p-please don't kill me "

The wolf growled and the poor girl fell to her bottom as she tried to back away towards the wall. In that moment I looked around for anything that I could use and I spotted a vase across the room. I levitated it with my eyes and smashed it against the wolf's head. He turn towards me and growled.

" Well shit... I didn't think this through..." I whispered and he sprinted towards me. I dived to the side and he jumped out the door. I quickly got up and ran out the house and jumped on his back. I held onto his fur as he tried to shake me off. I raised my hand and felt my claws grow. Once they were full length I grabbed the back of his head, pulled it up and sliced his throat. It fell to the ground and I fell with him. I was breathing heavily as I stood up and ran back into the house. I could see the girl on her knees as she held her hands up to her eyes. I went over to her and picked her up. I cooed softly in her ears as I hurried to leave out of her house.

" It's ok babe it's ok. It's all over now ok? " I said and I felt her nod. I felt more tears soak my shirt and I rubbed her back.

" It's ok, It's ok um... Aunty Ava's got you. She's got you ok? " She lifted her head out of my shoulder.

" A-aunty Ava? " She asked and I nodded my head as I opened my front door.

" And what's your name babe? " I asked trying to ignore the fact that her parents were dead. She smiled softly. " Piper "

" What a pretty name " I said as I walked up the stairs to find her a room. I could leave her here by herself for an hour or two right? Not like I'm going to be over there forever. I opened the room that had the least amount of potions spread everywhere and I put her on the bed.

" Are you magic? " She asked and I nodded my head as I looked for my dark wing dust.

" Uh huh I am " I said and I heard the jumps of Desmond enter the room. Great another problem. I heard Piper gasp.

" gasp BUNNY! " She jumped of the bed and grabbed Desmond in her hands. He looked over to me as I finally found the dust.

" A little help here? " He asked and Piper gasped again.

" Talking bunny? "

I shook my head " No can do Des. Got somewhere to be. " I ran to the mirror in the hallway with the dust and stood still. I took less than a handful of it in my hand. I closed my eyes slowly and whispered.

" Enchantress " Then I threw the dust onto the ground and waited for it to rise. Once it settled I looked into the mirror. Gold dust radiated off of me as my skin started to grow gold tattoo symbols.

My skirt flowed as I ran to grab my bag and some pixie dust. Before I left the room I looked over to Desmond.

" Watch her " And before he could answer I left into the hall. It's going to take too long to get there so I'm going to 'attempt' to teleport. Even though pixie dust makes you fly, when used the right way it can make you teleport.

I made a black sun on the ground with the dust and stood in the middle. I moved my arms in small patterns as the dust started to rise. I could feel the vibrations on my skin as the dust circled around me. As it was about to collapse to complete the spell I felt someone jump on my back.

" Funny bunny! "

" Hold on tight mami " And then we disappeared.

Third Person POV

Alexander had Serenity in his arms as he tried to calm her down. It had been ten minutes since Charlie called Ava and they didn't know how long it would take before she arrived. She was hours away. Then all of a sudden, specs of gold dust started flying around the room. Everyone looked as the dust was pulled into to the middle of the room which started to create a small whirl pool. Then suddenly as if they came out of nowhere Ava, Piper and Desmond arrived in the room looking disheveled and lost. As Ava fixed herself Alexander quickly stood and ran over to her. Charlie looked over to Piper and the bunny. She was about to say something until Ava cut her off.

" Ask questions later please. " She walked over to Serenity and pulled out the Alpha heat potion. She put it to Serenity's lips and she drank it all. A few seconds past and Serenity no longer felt the burn. She open her eyes and smiled when she saw Alexander. Everyone finally relaxed at the sight of their Luna no longer hurting. Then they heard a crash.

" WHERE IS SHE!!! " They heard Nate scream. Alpha Lennox stood up.

" What's going on? Why is he ups- "

" AHHHHH! GIVE HER TO ME NOW!!! "

" Nate I need you to rela- " We heard Jaxon say but another crash cut him off.

" What the hell is going on? " Alexander said and Ava sighed.

" I think he's looking for me..." Everyone turned to her.

" Why? " Alexander asked. Another crash ran through the house.

" He's my mate. I've known he was for a while but I've been too scared to go to him. " She said as another crash went through the house.

" I don't care if you're scared now. That boy is destroying my house. You are going to go down there right now so he can stop his little hissy fit. " Alpha Lennox said and Ava sighed once again. She turned toward the door and walked. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Charlie and Serenity jumping up and down while clapping.

She made her way to the staircase and walked down. Once she reached the bottom it was silent. She walked over to the living room to see broken furniture everywhere. Then she unexpectedly felt someone push her up against the wall and by the tingles she felt through her arms she could tell it was him.

" Too scared to come to me huh? Well guess what princess " He grabbed her chin making her look up to him " You're mine now "
