Third person POV

After a few days things in the house started to get better slowly. Serenity was more relaxed and out of her depressional state, Alexander was no longer as worried, Ava and Nate seemed to be working out well and Ryland is now comfortable in the house (with mostly Piper).

It was a normal day and Alexander and the guys had found a small lead to where Alpha Briggs could be. They were going to leave in a few day since the rogue issue in the Arctic Pack was finally diminishing. Alexander walked with Liam, Jaxon and Alpha Lennox trailing behind him. They were going to go see Jaxon's father in the forest since he was good at tracking. They walked towards the kitchen to see Nate sitting at the counter while he watch Ava create spells and storms.

" Nate you're babysitting today " Alexander said without looking up from his phone. Nate's head turned so quickly it almost gave him whiplash. The color drained from his eyes and he gulped standing up.

" No no no. I can't do that " He said and they all started walking to the living room.

" It's not that big of a deal " Jaxon snickered. Nate looked into the living room to see Serenity and Charlie watch TV and Piper and Ryland playing with Desmond, Isaac and his brother Ace.

Nate looked back to Alexander " You want me to babysit two 16 year olds, two 3 years olds, a talking bunny, an enchantress and two full grown wolves!?! " The guys looked at each other for a second then responded in unison.

" Yes " Then out of nowhere they heard thunder coming from the kitchen.

" I'm okay!! " Ava shouted and Liam chuckled. They waved good-bye to Nate as he stood flabbergasted. Alpha Lennox gave him a pat on the back and said " Good luck " before leaving the house shutting the door.

Nate puffed and clapped his hand behind his back.

" You're ok Nate. Just remember the basics of babysitting. " He said to himself as he walked back into the living room. He watched as they sat silently in their own little worlds. A small tug on his leg made him look down. It was Piper, Desmond and Ryland.

" Can we get some po-sicles? " Ryland asked as Piper reached into her pocket pulling out some gold fish stuffing her face. Nate didn't even question it as he nodded his head. They walked into the kitchen to see Ava sitting on the counter drinking soda. He handed the two children popsicles and they thanked him while running away. He walked over to Ava and put his hands against the counter. He leaned over her and she bit her lip self consciously.

" I forgot to tell you how pretty you look today, princess. " Ava wrapped her arms around his neck as she giggled.

" Thank you "

He smirked as she started blushing through her caramel skin. He leaned in for a kiss to capture her lips when-

" NATE!!!! " He rolled his eyes and gave Ava a quick kiss before going to the living room.

" What Charlie? "

" Me and Serenity want to go on a run " She said as she and Serenity looked over to him.

" Um absolutely not " Nate said crossing his arms.

" Why not! " Serenity whined and he rolled his eyes.

" You really think I trust you two to go for a run and not get eaten or killed? When you two shift you're barely the size of my pillow. "

" But- " Serenity was cut off when he spoke again.

" My final answer is no "

Nate's POV

They both slumped back onto the chair with a huff and groan at me. I rolled my eyes at them again and walked out of the kitchen. I'm probably going to be stuck with them all day and knowing how messy and disorganized everybody in this house is, I might need to take a shower or 2.

But could I really leave them all by themselves for not even 10 minutes? Is a shower really worth it? I looked into the kitchen to see Ava reading on of her spell books and I looked into the living room to see everyone sitting. I don't think I'll be too long.

I quickly ran upstairs into the bathroom and hopped in the shower. Once I finished I got out and wrapped a towel around my waist. So far it's been 7 minutes and nothing has happened I assume. I grabbed some shaving cream for my face and rubbed a little on my growing beard.

As I got halfway to finishing I heard a crash and yelling. I huffed as I threw the razor onto the sink.

" Oh for fucks sake " I ran out of the bathroom to go downstairs and froze. The house was a full on mess. The chairs upside down, windows broken, tables crushed and the list goes on.

" GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!! " Ava screamed

" Make me bitch " Desmond replied.

" No bad words bunny " Piper said.

As I looked around and heard where all the ruckus was coming from I realized everyone was outside. I quickly ran out the front door and groaned as I started taking off after them.

Alexander's POV

We were hurrying back to the house to make sure nothing happened. From the looks of the few tracks we found to be his we know he's heading North. I told my warriors to be on the lookout and that we would be arriving back to the pack shortly. Of course I can't tell kitten that her old abusive alpha is heading up to Canada where we live. I can guarantee that her reaction will not be pretty. As we approached the house my father raised his hand which made us all halt.

" Shhh listen..... " He said and we all went silent. We could hear faint screams and growls as they started to approach us. We looked to the right side of the house to see kitten and Charlie, both shifted as their bodies were tied together with a ribbon. And right on their tails was Ryland riding on Isaac. Behind them came Piper riding on Ace trying to get away from an angry Ava who came after them with her spell book in her hand.

" YOU GIVE ME BACK THAT DAMN BUNNY! I NEED TO TEST OUT SOME POTIONS! " Ava screamed.

" NO MY BUNNY! "

" I'm not playing I need him! "

Piper reached into her pocket and threw some goldfish at Ava's head. "Â Expecto Patronum!! " She yelled and Ava gasped.

" You did not just say that! " She screamed as they continued chasing after each other. Nate came from around the corner looking exhausted with a towel wrapped around his waist and shaving cream on half of his face. He spotted us at the gate and threw his hands up dramatically.

" I just wanted to take a fucking shower! "

Helloooo everyone. Finally school is over and I've stopped being lazy. This was just a funny little filler but I'll update again.
