Chapter 6

The next day I woke up to Alexander facing me stroking my face. He was propped up on his elbow and I was snuggled into his chest. I cuddled a little more with him and started to talk.

" Morning Zandy " I said with a yawn.

" Good morning my little kitten. How did you sleep? " He asked continuing to stroke my cheek.

" I sl-slept well. What a-are we doing today? "

He sighed " Well I have some Alpha duties and pack business to catch up on. So I won't be with you for long. "

I whimpered and wrapped my hands around his torso. I buried my head in his chest and took in his scent.

" Don't leave me " I said but it came out muffled and he just laughed.

" Kitten it's only gonna be a few hours and you do know where my office is. "

" But I-I want you to stay with m-me "I said muffled again. He rolled us over so now he want on top of me on his elbows and I put my arms around his neck.

" It'll only be a few hours, besides you have Charlie " He said kissing my nose.

" Ok " I said giving him a small smile. Then he leaned in and started kissing me and soon enough it turned into a really heated make-out session with my legs around his torso and hands in his hair. He has his legs between mine kneeling and his hands on my waist. We were having the time of our lives until......

" Serenity you ready? " Charlie said walking into the room casually. And I heard her scream.

" Stop this PDA immediately! "And Alexander pulled away.

" It's not PDA if it's my room Charlie " He said annoyed.

" I t-thought you l-locked the door? " I asked as he snuggled into my neck.

" She has a key " He said upset.

" T-then why don't you t-take it? " I asked giggling.

" She has about 50 of them " He said getting up and that made me burst out laughing.

" I heard that " She said looking at the both of us and all Alexander did was hum and go into the bathroom.

" Alright let's get you ready " She said clapping her hands.

" For what? " I said tilting my head.

" I'm showing you around the house duhh " She said digging through my closet. I finally looked at what she was wearing and she had a great taste in fashion.

She finally finished my outfit and yelled for me to hurry and get ready. I just laughed at her and went to the other bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I came out and put on the the clothes while Charlie was going through my closet say how she was going to borrow this and borrow that which made me laugh at her more. When I finished she came out and did my hair. Then took a step back and started to fake cry over how well she did. And I have to admit I did look pretty.

When Alexander came out he looked really good. And when he saw me his eyes went from green to black as he was eyeing my outfit. Charlie saw this and started backing out.

" Yeah I'll be out here Serenity " Was the last thing she said before bolting out the room. Alexander came up to me, pulled me into a hug and put his face in my hair.

" You smell so good. " He said which made me giggle.

" You do to " I said wrapping my arms around him. We stayed there for about 30 seconds just taking each others scents.

" C-Charlie's waiting for me " I said which made him pull away and start walking to the door. When we walked out to see Charlie on the bannister crouching like a squirrel. Alexander went over to her and picked her up to put her on the floor which made her pout.

" Charlie I don't need you dying from falling off the stairs so can you please stay on the ground? " He asked looking at her.

" No promises " She said smiling and he just rolled his eyes smiling. He came over to me and gave me a kiss on my forehead.

" Be good " He said to both of us before going to his office. Charlie grabbed me and went down the stairs.

" Where are we going? " I asked.

" To get our nails done " She said opening the door to a really big basement.

" You have a n-nail s-salon here? " I said looking at her.

" Yeah " She said looking down.

" What's wrong? " I asked her as we went down the stairs.

She sighed " It's kinda nice to have a friend around here "

" What d-do you mean? You're a g-great person. "

" Yeah I guess but you know I'm really short and my wolf is the smallest one here, which makes Jaxon really protective of me. And that's another factor of why I don't have many friends. " She said as we walked through the long hall.

" Well at least we can be short and small t-together " I said smiling and she laughed and nodded her head. When we opened the first door it was game room with TV's, couches, a fridge and more.

" Dammit wrong room. Let's get out of here befor- " She was cut off by a group of five 5"8 guys came into view.

" Oh look who we have here the, the puppy of the pack. And you brought a little friend who just so happens to be the kitten of the pack. You girls gonna go in the yard and chase after your tails? " The middle one asked which made the rest of them laugh. I was just ready to go to not cause anymore trouble but Charlie was ready to scratch there eyes out.

" We had the wrong room that's it. We'll leave " She said looking at all of them with death glares.

" Oh don't go now let's have a little fun " The guy in the middle said which made all of their eyes go a little darker.

" They said they'll leave " Said a voice and we all turned to see Nate standing there glaring at the boys. He went up to them, his tall frame standing over them and grabbed the guy's neck and growled.

" And if one of you ever talk to these girls, think about or so much as look at them I will break all of you piece by piece and feed you to a rogue. Now let's just keep this between us, we don't want the Alpha knowing now do we? " He said which made all of them back away in fear. He threw the one guy down and slammed the door shut.

" How did you know we were here? " I asked him.

" Well being the 'Babysitter' I have to know where the 'babies' are at right? "

" How long have you been 'watching' us? " Charlie said with a glare.

He gulped " Not long enough to hear you conversation earlier that's for sure " He said laughing nervously. Charlie just took a deep breath and smiled a very dark smile.

" It's ok. Right Serenity? " She asked me and I just nodded my head unsure of what was going on and she grabbed his hand.

" Alright well let's go get our nails done " She said dragging him through the other hall and I just followed them laughing.

" W-wait why am I coming? " He asked nervously.

" Well you are our babysitter and we're all gonna get our nails done silly " She said giggling and Nate's face was priceless.

Alexander's POV:

Jaxon and I have been talking to the Alphas and all agreed to come to the meeting which now has been moved closer most likely by the end of the week. We also informed the pack about her and they've looked pass the part about her being a kitten. So now all we need to do is introduce her and train her. Even though she won't be fighting anyone ever, she needs to learn how to control her shift.

Right now Jaxon and I are working on the arrival of some of the pack strongest warriors who have been gone for two years to go help other packs in need. They'll be here in the next 2 weeks so we have to welcome them back.

We we're just about to head out when the door opened binging in a very excited kitten, a very evil looking Charlie and a very upset Nate.

" What did you girls do today? " I asked bringing kitten to sit on my lap.

" We got our n-nails done and explored the rest of the h-house " Kitten said giggling.

" What's so funny? " Jaxon asked.

" Nate also got his nails done " Charlie said smiling.

Nate scoffed. " Yeah and guess what? They picked their favorite color " He said before bringing both of his hands up angrily and screaming.....

" Rainbow!!"
