Chapter 11

Once again it's another ordinary day at the Chester Estate. However today was a little special. Arius was training alone with Moon and Snow. As they had grown older, their magic started to develop even more as the years passed by. Due to that Arius had to train them alone as they did not had any beast tamers at their estate. Therefore, Arius had to train Moon and Snow by himself. Currently, Arius was in the garden taking a break from training with them and is playing with them in the garden.

"Ruff!-" Moon and Snow barked as the sprinted towards Arius without any hesitation, making Arius fall onto the ground.

"Guys!- ack! Haha! That tickles! C'mon, you guys are way too big to pounce on me now." Arius said laughing, trying to avoid all the wet sloppy kisses from Moon and Snow.With Saliva on his hands, Arius decided to stop with the training for today and go take shower.

"Phew... that feels nice...."

After taking a shower, Arius wore his clothes and went to the library as per usual as he would usually sleep there for his afternoon naps. Once he had entered the library, he felt as though something was calling to him. Something pulling him towards something. He could not resist the urge or temptation and went straight to the place which was pulling him in.

'A book?'

Feeling curious, Arius went towards it and took the book out from the bookshelf. Opening the book Arius saw a bunch of pictures. It was a picture book! And a bunch of random scriptures at the back of the end of the story.

Once Upon A Time,

There was a mystical land above the whole mortal realm, where there was a spilt between good and evil.

When war broke between the both of them, blood split everywhere. The once mystical land became corrupted and red everywhere.

However, there was a God that fought hard to maintain peace between both sides. And that God was none other the God Of Peace and Eternity. His real name was kept a secret. Some gave him the name Eien, while others called him Emrys as both names meant eternity and immortality.

Alongside him was the God of Light and Spirits. It was said that the God of Peace and Eternity and God of Light and Spirits were lovers. Hence the reason why they were always together and inseparable.

However, the God of Light and Spirits-

The last few pages of the story was removed. Arius wanted to figure out what the last page was but he couldn't as the last page was removed. Arius groaned and looked at the pages behind. There were weird spells and writings, however they were illegible to Arius.

"Arius!" Aeryn shouted.

"Huh?" Arius jumped in shock.

"What are you doing here?" Aeryn asked curiously

"Uh...well, I was bored so I wanted to take a book to read." Arius said hiding the book behind is back so as to not let Arius see the books

"..." Aeryn said staring at Arius suspiciously.

"Anyways, what is it that you need?" Arius said walking towards Aeryn.

"Well, the Grand Duke wants you to meet him at his office."

"Father?"

"Mhm."

Feeling curious, Arius wondered why his father called him to his office. Upon entering Damian's office he saw a mysterious cloaked man standing in front of Damien with a sword in his hand.

"Dad?-..What's going on in here?"

"Ah, Arius. Don't worry. I want you to meet someone. But I'm sure you've met him before at your birthday."

"My birthday?-..."

"Arius."

"Clau!-Ahem-..I mean Your Highness. What are you doing here?-..."

"I see you two are already familiar with one another. Well, to sum it up, Arius. The Crown Prince will be staying with us for a few months. He will be training swordsmanship under me, as my pupil. Under the Emperor's order. And he will be training with you and Aeryn."

"..."

"I know this is much for you to take it in but your mother and I thought it would be best for you to take up swordsmanship so that you at least have some sort of protection until your powers as a Saint manifest."

"I understand father...Do you want me to take his Highness to a room."

"That would be much appreciated Arius. He will be staying on the 3rd floor with you and Aeryn."

Arius nodded his head and ask the Crown Prince to follow him. As they left the room, they walked down the long quiet hallways. You could say that things were quite tense and awkward between them.

"Arius?"

"Huh? Oh! My apologies! Sorry Clau- Ack! I mean Your Highness!"

"It's alright. You can drop the formalities. Just call me Claude. You must've been shocked by my sudden appearance."

"Hehe, I guess you could say that. I was just surprised."

"Don't worry. I won't cause any trouble. I'm just here to improve my swordsmanship. After all the Grand Duke is one of the strongest swords master."

"I didn't know my father was one of the swords master."

"..Do want to hear a story about the swords masters?"

"Sure!"

"Long before your siblings, me and you were born, there were five great sword masters. Grand Duke Edinburgh, Grand Duke Solvata, Grand Duchess (Duke) Amber, Grand Duke Chester, your father. And lastly my Uncle. Caspian De Albertine."

"..But aren't there only 4 swords masters?"

"That's right. However, the truth is, there was five of them. As time passed, the fifth swords master, my uncle, disappeared."

"Disappeared?! What happened to him?"

"It was said that he had disappeared out of nowhere. Some say that he was murdered. Some say he committed suicide.."

"Committed suicide? But why would he do that?"

"Do you remember the story I told you how the Second Emperor's first lover, the Sage of Darkness, was a male and not a female? My uncle, he loved a commoner. Who was a male. He too. Had the same fate as the Second Emperor. But his fate was a little different from the Second Emperor. Even though My uncle kept it a secret, my father, found out and told my grandfather."

"Don't tell me..."

"Yes, my uncle's lover, was hung in public. Killed in front of everybody."

".."

"My uncle, hurt broken, decided to commit suicide by killing himself the same way his lover died. By hanging himself."

"...You know...How do you know all of this?-.."

"...Because I was the one who my uncle shared everything with. I used to be taken care by my uncle and his lover. On the day where he hung himself, I was the first person to find him. I couldn't save him in time."

"Claude..."Feeling tremendously sad, Arius hugged the Crown Prince.

"Thank you. That memory...it still haunts me till this very day. It's forever imbued in my mind." Hearing the Crown Prince's sad voice made Arius tear up and feel his pain. Arius released the Crown Prince and sniffled.

"Why are you crying? C'mon, don't you want to show me to my room?"

"I'm not crying! Seriously! Hmph! Anyways... I'm sorry to hear that about your uncle....It must've been a toll on you.."

"Don't worry, I'm still happy to be here and alive."

"..."

"Now, shall we head to my room?"

"Mm!"

At first, when Aeryn and the Crown Prince met they argued a lot and had a tough time training together as Aeryn could not accept the fact that he was going to be staying with them for a few months. Aeryn treating Arius like his little brother, was always over protective of Arius, just like Sebastian and Lillian. (They trained him well..)

Feeling annoyed by the constant arguments between the two, Arius suddenly got angry and shouted at them, telling them to stop. As that was the first time they heard Arius shout, they immediately stopped fighting and apologised to Arius and one another.

"We're sorry Arius.." The two boy apologised in unison.

"You two are acting like little kids! Seriously! Especially you Claude! You're three years older than us and you still want to argue with Aeryn just like a four year old!" Hearing that felt like an arrow was piercing through the Crown Prince's heart. Aeryn laughed softly and smirked at the Crown Prince. Showing him that he won.

"Stop smirking Aeryn! The same thing goes for you! If you two don't start getting along, I'll just train with father myself!"

Arius, frustrated by the two ran off to Damian and started his training program. Leaving Aeryn and the Crown Prince alone to contemplate about their life decisions.

A few days later, Damian and the Crown Prince tried getting along. However, every time they tried to get along it would always fail as they kept on arguing. Feeling annoyed and tired of the constant arguments, the Crown Prince asked Aeryn to make an agreement with him. Saying that until he leaves, him and Aeryn would try to get along so as to not make Arius mad and continue hanging out together. Aeryn agreed and the both of them glared at each other and walked off to meet Arius.

"Arius!" The two said in unison.

"Claude? Aeryn?"

"We're sorry about our behavior...and we want to make it up to you." Aeryn said looking at Arius with an apologetic expression.

"You want to make it up to me?"

"Yes!" Claude said with a a smile showing that he truly wanted to make it up to Arius.

"Hoho..."Damian secretly smirked.

"Fufu, you can go train with father! Father do make sure you make their training twice as hard."

"Huh?-..." Aeryn and Claude had shivers sent down their spine

"AGHHH!-"Claude exclaimed.

"THIS IS YOUR FAULT!" Aeryn shouted angrily.

"SHUT UP AND JUST RUN! ARIUS WILL GET MAD AGAIN" The Crown Prince Explained.

Iluvnothing23 Is Typing...

I hope y'all enjoy this chapter! Uh..I might have some bad news for all of you. I might not be continuing Rebirth.

As you know this year is my exam period. The last stretch of my final exam is here. And after weeks of thinking. I have decided that I might not continue uploading.

Instead, I will be working on another story . At first I just uploaded the first chapter on an impulse thinking that I would not get that many readers, but now seeing that 18k+ people read my story just makes me exhilarated.  I know some of you might be upset with me but, I just don't feel any passion towards this story anymore.

Therefore, over the past few weeks I've been working on a new story that I think that all of you like. The story would probably be uploaded in October but I can't make any promises as I'm planning on making a 15+ chapters before I upload it onto Wattpad. So if you could just wait for a few more months..I would be very grateful.

Here is a paragraph from the new story:

Ye Joon began struggling and resisting and tried to run. But that only caused his wounds to worsen. Noticing that Ye Joon was bleeding severely, the mysterious man tried releasing his pheromones to dominate Ye Joon so that he would at least be a little bit calmer. As the mysterious man was a Dominant Alpha and Ye Joon was a normal Alpha, the mysterious man's pheromones would be superior and would dominate Ye Jun. However Ye Joon didn't succumb to the mysterious man's pheromones and only continued resisting. With that, the mysterious man karate chopped Ye Joon on the side of his jaw knocking him out. Feeling the exhaustion get to him and the fact that he had been knocked unconscious, Ye Joon closed his eyes and hoped that it was all a dream and his parents and sister would be alive and not injured.
