Chapter 4: A wolf?...

I'm actually on the bus right now writing this on the way to school. I mean I have to use my time wisely and not waste any second.

Arius POV:

It's been 4 years since I've reincarnated... To be honest, I'm enjoying my life here. Everything almost seems like a dream. However...there's something bothering me. Why would he ask me that.

Anyways, back to the topic, I'm gonna go explore! I'm going to sneak out when Marcus is not looking!

No One POV:

When no one was looking, Arius quietly sneaked out of the room and carefully avoided the servants. If Julia caught him sneaking out he would've been in serious trouble. Luckily, Julia was busy handling something.

'I'm lost-..'

Before Arius had gotten lost, his original plan was to go to the garden. However, along the way he had saw a bunch of servants. After avoiding them, he realised that he'd strayed of the path.

"Arius? Is that you?"

Arius soul had almost left his body. He thought he had been caught! Fortunately, it was Lillian.

"Are you sneaking out again?"

"Shhh!!! Marcus doesn't know!"

"Haha, alright. Where are you planning to go? The garden?"

"Mhm!"

As soon as Arius replied, Lillian carried Arius in her arms and started walking towards the direction of the garden."

"Lily, where's brother?"

"I'm not sure either. Probably still training with Louis."

"Louis?"

"Oh right! You haven't met the guards yet. But that's for another day. Louis is the commander of the knights!"

Arius pondered about Louis. Louis De Alexander.He was not actually noble, but a commoner chosen by Damien. Damien saw great potential in Louis, so he decided to train him personally. At first, many people disliked him as they had worked very hard to get to their positions while Louis was just chosen. However, the suddenly realised why Louis was chosen by Damien. He had mastered aura in just a few weeks. Louis had great leadership skills. Louis always ensured his comrades safety. Lastly, he was loyal to the duke.

"Arius!"

"Huh?"

"Finally, you responded. I've been calling you for awhile now. What'cha daydreaming about?"

"It's nothing, I was just a little tired!"

"Haha, I was just asking, don't need to worry. Anyways, we've made it to the garden."

Arius did not even realise. Once again Arius was amazed by the spectacular sight of the garden. Although he had visited this place multiple times, it still impresses him as there are a myriad of flowers. Arius tugged on Lilian, signaling her to let him down. As soon as Lilian let Arius down, he immediately ran off into the garden.

"Ari...us?" Lillian shuddered in shock. Who was behind her?

"My Lady, were you the one who helped Young Master Arius escape?"

"Ah-haha...Marus!..What are you doing here?-.."

Marcus let out a sigh and had ask the servants behind him to get Lillian bathed and changed as he walked towards the garden.

Arius POV:

'SHIT! Plan failed! Using Lillian as a escape route was a bad decision! I better hide somewhere before I get caught!'

No One POV:

While Arius was hiding, he had heard rustling in the bushes. Was it Marcus? No it couldn't be him. Arius was sure he ran far away enough from Marcus. Then what was making those noises?

Arius could not resist, his curiosity was gradually increasing. When Arius walked toward he had saw a tiny dog?..

Grrrrr....

'Huh?!'

Arius looked behind him and saw a giant figure. What is that?!...Was this the end of Arius?!...

'....Why aren't I dead yet?'

"Young Master, please move to a safer area!-"

'Who is this?-..."

Arius couldn't move. His legs weee trembling with fear, his face as pale as a ghost. What had gotten into him?

"Gunther, you should've kept a better eye on the garden."

Blood splattered everywhere. After the beast was killed, Marcus picked up Arius and started scolding him for his reckless behaviour.

"Marcus, hold on.Please let me down. I promise I won't do anything reckless."

Marcus had was skeptical, however, he trusted Arius. Marcus also thought that Arius was he was too intelligent for his age. At some point he even thought that he was a genius.

When Marcus let Arius down from his arms, Arius immediately ran up to the bush where he had originally heard rustling noises. To his surprise, he had saw a somewhat miniature version of the beast.

"Young Master, is that?..."Gunther was shocked at what he was looking at. Were those the pups of the wolf... They looked like spiritual beasts.

"Gunther."

"Gunther!"

"Huh?!- Oh what is it?"

"Go inform the Duke and the Duchess about this."

"On it."

"Marcus..."

Upon hearing Arius call his name, Marcus walked towards Arius and asked him what was wrong.

"Can I keep them?...Please-..."

"How did Arius even manage to convince you?"

"He promised me not to escape unless he had a servant with him Master."

A sigh of relief could be heard from Damien. He was glad that Arius would never go out with a servant. However, a new problem had occurred. The two wolves, or spiritual beasts, whatever you want to call them.

With Arius

"Hmm...what should I name you two?"

Arius stared at the two wolves while the two wolves stared back. Arius was trying to decide a name for them as it would be quite horrible if he didn't give them a name. Suddenly, after brainstorming for about a few minutes. Something suddenly clicked in his head.

"You're Moonstone and you're Moonshine!"Arius said pointing at the wolves.

(A/N: If that's too hard to remember, just call then Moon🌙 and Snow❄️)

The wolves jumped up and down surprising Arius. Did they like it? Moonshine jumped into Arius lap while Moonstone snuggled against his legs. A few moments later, the two wolves fell asleep.

"They must've been very tired. I should get some rest too."

Author: I AM SOOOOK SORRY FOR POSTING THIS CHAPTER SO LATE! I've been so busy with school and exams lately. Likely it's almost end of the term with just a week left before September holidays! So make sure you come here every so often to check whether I posted a new chapter.
