Chapter 6

"Okay hyung, no Jungkook and Tae are with me! .... Yes I will let them know...no they didn't go to class but meh they'll make it right?" Jimin hyung laughs, as Taehyung hyung and I looked at each other rolling our eyes.

"No I know they don't have any other plans!" he shot both of us a look. We proceeded to look at each other in absolute confusion... "Okay bye... I knowww hyung, bye." he hangs up the phone and smiles at us

"Okay you gonna tell us now what Yoongi hyung said?" Taehyung hyung seemed impatient

"Well it's been too long since we were all hanging out like not in a restaurant setting but a house setting just us, don't you think?"

We both nodded in agreement.

"Well, it's hard for us to be loud here as we usually get when were all around - erm so Yoongi hyung said we can go to Joon hyungs parents beach house for the weekend. Since tomorrow is Friday most of us don't have classes and the rest of us can ditch - but y'all two don't need an excuse to ditch."

"Well we don't have classes on Fridays so ha!" I exclaimed excitedly but feeling stupid cause he was right we do be ditching for no reason. We have gotten better...

"Well how does Namjoon and Jin hyung feel? They won't ditch!" Taehyung hyung said saving me from my embarrassment.

"Well thats the funny part, they're down since their test was today, and their brains need a break too!" Jimin hyung giggles in excitement. "And Hobi hyung and Yoongi hyung are planning this, isn't it great? They're going to get grocery and stuff in a little bit ahhh! Isn't this so amazing? So needed? Ahhh I am so excited like I am so over having the same old life everyday because of school. We walk around like robots...I mean not you two BUT the rest of us."

We both shot him a mini glare which quickly turned into smiles as we couldn't hide our excitement for long. We were all smiling and giggling now as if we were little kids. Our usual small dorm space seemed to get a lot bigger and brighter after hearing this news - it must be all the happiness that surrounds the room. We all felt just happy just knowing we can get away and unwind for a couple of days. It's nice to have friends with rich parents that just has a beach house for the fun of it.

"You guys!! Go pack cause were going to the beach bitches!" Jimin hyung was getting off the floor now, almost jumping

"You know hyung lets annunciate those words, yeah? Beach and bitch sounds the same when you say it!" he let out another giggle throwing a hit at my arm. Ouch!

"Well let's go pack bitches!" Taehyung hyung got up to join Jimin hyung in the jumping in excitement thing. They were trying to throw air punches at each other now. It sure is amusing watching these two, I didn't realize how hard I was smiling at them until I felt my cheeks hurt.

"Joon, are you sure you're okay driving? Maybe I can do it this time and you can do it on the way back." Hobi hyung asked in concern as Namjoon hyung was our driver for the day.

He gets a bit anxious with driving but he plays it tough. We were taking two cars so all seven of us can fit. It was Hobi, Joon, Jin hyung and I in this car, and the others were in the other car. Yoongi hyung was driving and they were leading the way.

"Let him do it Hobes, I am sitting up here so he can get the support he needs!" Jin hyung said proudly. Those two are soulmates in their own rights too I guess. I don't see anyone having Joon hyungs back the way Jin hyung does and its so nice to see.

"Thanks Jin what would I do without you?" he smiled that dashing night in shining armer smile that he does, small enough to count as a smile but big enough for those dimples of his to come out. I smiled in agreement as I saw him smile.

He did a good job driving and he had Jin hyung with him the whole time. I spend time talking, laughing with them, but also looking out at the scenery. Since it was summer time and the weather was getting warmer, the trees are green again. I had to roll down the window and enjoy the easy breeze hitting the sides of my face, sunshine slowly peaking through from behind the trees as we were driving. It's slowly going to come up as it's getting closer to noon time. Wow, Gods creation is definitely something else. I don't think I ever take the time to admire the trees. I slowly felt my eyes droop as I fell into a daze.

I was shaken awake by Hobi hyung who was laughing in excitement as we made it. I didn't even realize I fell asleep but it was much needed from my lack of sleep for the last couple of nights. I open the car door, rubbed my eyes to Jimin and Taehyung hyung running towards me. I smiled looking at the ocean, as they both grabbed me and started to run. I was screaming at them to stop as I saw where this was going. Pretty soon they put both their hands under my thigh in an attempt to lift me up as they kept running and threw me in the water. They were laughing so much now and I let out a giggle. I can't believe I wasn't strong enough to take them down and now I am soaking.

It was getting darker now - we swam, we giggled, we have sand everywhere... I mean everywhere - I don't wanna talk about that. Yoongi and Jin hyung were grilling now, as the rest of us were finally feeling somewhat dry. I didn't realize in the midst of swimming, and burying Jimin hyung in the sand with Taehyung hyung that the hyungs set everything up. We promised we would clean up though.

As we stuffed our faces, guess we didn't how hungry we were, but boy does the night sky look pretty right above the waters. I couldn't stop staring at the stars as they reflected down in the waters. After we helped clean up we were talking, laughing and playing games.

"Alright I got a good joke ready?" oh boy Jin hyung was starting now again with his jokes, I could hear myself chuckle without even hearing the context of it.

"Hyung please, it's gonna be one of your dad jokes isn't it?" Yoongi hyung was looking displeased but I knew he was probably looking forward to it.

"No really it goes with the ocean vibes ... okay so what do you call a fish wearing a bowtie? Sofishticated! bahhahahah" he started laughing with the rest of us chuckling along. Oh no, we know the joke is basic and unfunny but his windshield wiper laughter alone is enough to make us laugh.

"Hey Yoongi-ya, I got one for you that I know you're gonna love!"

"Please don't" Yoongi hyung said in a blank expression

"No, what did one ocean say to the other?" Jin hyung waited patiently for any kind of reaction from Yoongi hyung who was still giving him a blank stare. All of us were staring waiting for an answer

"Nothing... they just waved!" the windshield wiper laughter started up again. All of us busted out laughing even Yoongi hyung who tried so hard to not laugh.

"Okay another one..." Jin hyung started again only for all of us to object and yell no.

This went on all night, all of us yelling, laughing, talking and making jokes all night long - there was no one to tell us to be quiet here. Overtime everyone was getting quieter as they were all getting sleepy.

"Whose sleeping where?" Joon hyung asked

"Since there are 3 rooms we can sleep how we do in the dorms?" Hobi hyung suggested

"No, whats the fun in that? I say we mix it up! Hobi and Joon hyung in one, Jin, Yoongi hyung and I in another, Jungkookie and Tae in the other? What do you think?" Jimin hyung suggested before anyone could say anything else. I slowly side eyed him, I knew where he was going with this, and I.... the man is sly I'll tell you that.

He smiled that sly smile that he usually does. Everyone nodded in agreement cause it really didn't matter to the other guys who they shared a room with. Everyone was slowly going to their rooms, Yoongi hyung and Jin hyung was giggling as they ran to make sure they get the biggest rooms.

I was watching Taehyung hyung take his stuff, "Jungkookie? This room is fine right? I know you don't care."

"Yeah, I am good with anything." he nodded a smile at me and went inside the room

"Jimin hyung!!" I quietly screamed his name

"What? What?" he was smiling again now

"What are you freaking doing to me?"

He gave me his sly smile again, a little pout as he knew exactly what he did. "Get your life in order kookie! This is your chance!"

"Hyung, there's nothing to... stop like there's nothing going on like you think."

"Then this should be fine for you then right? Sleeping in the same bed with him and all? Since you know, you guys are just friends?" he gave me the smile again as he slowly walked away with his stuff. I stood there stunned as he turned around to smile at me again - a sweeter one this time; "Kook, it'll be good for y'all!"

I sighed and followed him walking into my room now.

"Hey, " Taehyung hyung turned around. He was unpacking already, "so you wanna shower first or me?"

"I can wait, you go ahead."

"Mhm.." he said

I didn't pay much attention to him going into the bathroom, as I decided to unpack myself. After getting my pajamas out I decided to hop on my phone to finally look at all the pictures and stories the hyung's posted as I was sitting on the floor. I smiled in adoration at how crazy we can get together. Seven people, who in no way could have been friends somehow ended up being the best of friends, the universe definitely wanted us together.

I turned around as I heard the door click open. It was Taehyung hyung coming out of the bathroom, towel drying his hair. Since he was wearing a thin shirt, it was slowly sticking to his slightly wet body. I felt myself staring too much, and quickly looked down as I met his eyes. He let out a small smirk as he threw his towel across his shoulder again.

"Your turn..." he said sitting down in bed making himself comfortable.

I-

What?

Who does he think he is?

And what is he doing smirking at me?

I nodded, and took my stuff into the bathroom. After my shower I was drying myself off and stopped. Huh? Two can play at this game? I decided to pop on my sweats, leave my shirt in the bathroom and walked out drying my hair. I could feel water tickling down my back and was irritated by it but decided to ignore it.

I saw Taehyung hyung pause on scrolling through his phone, and look at me. He was shunned, I could feel his gaze on me, and he couldn't stop. I felt his mouth slowly hang open and knew he really sucks at controlling his facial expressions. I knew what I looked like under the loose t-shirts since I work out daily. I knew I would win at whatever game he was trying to play with me.

I turned around in a random burst of confidence that came over me, which I never have, he was still staring. "What hyung?"

I saw hyung for the first time ever in his life be speechless as he slowly gulped - "What?" he finally managed to say

"Nothing, was just checking to see if I make you nervous as well..." his mouth slowly started to hang open. He could not believe what came out of my mouth and he was still looking at me with that shunned look

"I am kidding hyung..." I got close to him so that I am leaning over him as he sat in bed, "I know you don't get nervous around little ol' me." I heard him scoff as I walked away from him smiling in full confidence because I knew I really did that. I walked over to lay down on the other side of bed still feeling his stare on me.

"Jungkook?"

"Yeah..." I looked over

"Turn the light off before you sleep.. thank you!" he laid down turning his body to the other side, as I propped myself up on my elbows looking at his backside - in complete loss for words... did I lose again? He doesn't even get affected by me.

I groaned as I got up to turn the lights off and lay back down. I don't know how long passed by as we laid there in complete silence. Then I heard him softly snoring next to me. How can he sleep and I can't?
