Chapter 7

"Kook! Tae! Wake the heck up, we're not here to sleep all day! Look at the sun shining outside!" Hobi hyung said as he was shaking us awake opening the curtains... as he sang and danced. It is the middle of the night, why are all morning people like this?

"Hyungggg..." I groaned... "5 more minutes..."

"No, please I am so sick of hearing 5 more mins from you! 5 seconds! Up! Now!"

I lifted my head up to give him a displeased look and groaned as I slammed my head back down

"Who the heck sleeps like that? They're so weird." he said walking out

Sleeps like what? I felt a leg on my bare back, and an arm cuddling both my legs. I lifted my head up in disbelief... it was Tae hyungie, he was sleeping on the foot of the bed while cuddling my feet.

"Hyung... HYUNG!" I said shaking my legs trying to escape away

"Noooo, shut up..."

"No! It's time to get up. Why are you sleeping like that?"

"Sleeping like what?" I heard him mumble half asleep

"Why are you like upside down?" he lifted his head up in confusion, I don't think he knew the reason either. "Do you sleep walk? Is this a new thing I don't know about..."

"I don't...know?" he mumbled again. I freed myself from him to run to the bathroom cause dang I had to pee

"Okay like I can't be cooking every meal, just because I am the meal don't mean I am your mother! I am a single handsome man that deserves to be out of this kitchen! I am only making breakfast and Joon, Hobi, Yoongi - you're doing the rest!" It was Jin hyung. He's a pretty consistent man, he's basically hyper 24/7, especially with us!

"Hyung you haven't cooked in so long... I actually hope it tastes good." Yoongi hyung said giggling. I grabbed the seat right next to him and put my head on his shoulder, he never minds because he likes cuddles - just admit it hyung.

"You know first of all I am offended, second ask Namjoon if I cook often or not he's always eating my food, and third have you seen Tae recently? He's getting a little thick, no? That's me, who else is that- he gets all my good protein filled meals!" His ears were turning red from him going off and plating the food all the same time.

"Yes, I can agree Jin hyung makes the best food ever!" Namjoon hyung said as he helped Jin hyung hand everyone their plates

I couldn't help side eye as Taehyungie hyung made his way into the kitchen. Huh... he has thickened a bit... that sounds like I am describing something non-human, right? I mean he's like gotten buffer? I guess me forcing him to the gym with me has been good on him...er for him, and well Jin hyungs food too obviously.

"Hyung, you don't make me food! I need protein too!" I whined to distract myself from my thoughts

"Hey you brat! I beg you to stop getting protein, if you get any bigger your shirts are gonna explode off your body, and you're gonna beat me up, you brat, stop going to the gym!" he yelled handing me my food. The rest of the room filled in laugher as I sat there pouting at him. They're not that big.

"Remember how Jungkook's trainer said he can gain muscles from lifting a spoon? Must be nice kooks!" Namjoon hyung said patting my chest

"Hyung, you're literally as big as me!"

"That's true too, Joon, Kook and Tae, you brats are you gonna beat me up? This is unacceptable. I am shutting the gyms down.." Jin hyung said as he shoved a spoon full of rice into his mouth

"Hyung, I am hella offended that you don't notice my muscles!" Jimin hyunged whined

"You brat that's all the dancing you that you do, should I shut down the studio?"

Jimin hyung let out his explosive laughter, as Hobi hyung chimed in, "Yeah, I know they're still getting there but can't you make some comments about my arm muscles too..."

Jin hyung was speechless and rolled his eyes! "Yes all you brats just chill out and get fat with me!"

"Jin hyung you have the best body here!" Yoongi hyung stated

"What about me?" Jimin hyung asked patting his arm

"You're okay I guess!" Yoongi hyung teased as Jimin hyung groaned in frustration slapping Yoongi hyungs arm

"So anything happened last night?" Jimin hyung and I decided to take a stroll down the beach and he was being super nosy now.

"No, nothing!" I lied

"Kookie!!" ah he's onto me, he obviously isn't buying this one bit

"Hyunggggg, ahhh I am frustrated!" I whined

"I knew it!! Tell me, here come on lets sit in the shade." he dragged me by the arm as we found a nice shaded area to sit down and talk ... "Wellll..." he asked wanting to know every single detail!

"Hyung, he's being weird?"

"Weird? How?"

"Wellll.." I filled him in on what happened in the room last night and added the fact that I only did that because of something similar happening that day we fell asleep on the couch together and for that I got a slap on the arm from him.

"Hey! You didn't tell me any of this! You literally didn't tell me any of this crap! He did what??"

"Hyung, you need to be chill.."

"BEEEE CHILLL?"

"Hyung!" I said placing my hand over his mouth

"I am fine, its all fine.. I am glad you finally spilled all this, but Kook it deadass feels like he likes you.. and you did the same to him, what does that tell you about your feelings?"

"Hyungggg, I don't know about any of this!"

"Kooks!" He put his arm around me, "This is so simple but you two make it so hard!"

"Simple? In what world? We are two guys, it just can't happen, we're friends.. its not like you and Grace."

"Oh trust me, I wish Grace and I started off as friends too, those are the best kind Kooks!"

"Girl trouble, hyung?" I asked concerned

"No, not now Kook!" he waved his arm changing the subject back to me

"But she's a girl Hyung, I should be...with a girl."

"No who said that? Do you like him Kook?" Jimin hyung asked giving me a loving, understanding gaze

"Of course hyung..."

"No, not the friendship like, the love like.."

"That's what I said of course to hyung..."

"Oh my god!!!" Jimin hyung jumped up in excitement, eyes so big that it was gonna pop off his small head. I felt a small smile on my lips realizing what I just admitted to, which faded away quickly as I realized he's my best friend, and were both men and... and none of this can ever work out and... and I'd ruin the best friendship that's ever happened.

"What if the other hyungs find out? Or worse what if Taehyungie hyung finds out?"

"Well Yoongles over there would be thrilled beyond words, and everyone would love and support you no matter what... and Jungkook, Tae has obviously been hinting it to you all along, just give him the yes!"

"But he flirts with everyone!"

"No, not with any of his friends. Kook, I have never heard him whisper anything in my life, especially not in a towel with water dripping down, oh man what is this? It should be a movie!" he stopped joking as he saw my serious face.  "What can I do to help? Do you want me to meddle cause I will!" he was waiting on my answer

"Let me... wait this out. Just to see if its real or not.."

"Okay kook, whatever you want. You know your hyung is here!" He patted my head getting up, "Lets go, the others are gonna wanna know what we talked about... Kook, I have an idea!" his eyes lit up in excitement

"What hyung?" I got up along with him

"Jealousy!"

"Huh?"

"Let's see how jealous he gets, I will tell them you're having dating problems or something, oh my god, thats perfect. I'll like tell them you have a girl you like and wanna ask out cause you think she likes you too, and...and we need to watch his face. The man can't hide his facial expressions. If he don't like you Kook no anger, no jealousy - so problem solved! So if he does like you..." he stopped talking hoping I would figure it out from there

I made an o shape with my mouth realizing where he was going with this.. "Hyung this cannot end well..."

"No, I will do most of the talking! Kooks trust me as a man with a lot of experience in this department..."

"Grace is like your second girlfriend..."

"Anyways, whose counting, but experience, I have more than you virgin island!"

"Hyunggg.." I groaned at him in anger

"Okay let's just try!"

I rolled my eyes at him, this cant end well at all!

"There you guys are, left your phones here huh? Smart thinking!" Yoongi hyung said sarcastically as we walked in

"Hyung we went walking!" I said

"That was a long walk, whats going on?" Namjoon hyung asked

Hobi hyung paused the video game Tae hyung and he were playing on the couch and was looking at us now. Jin hyung and Yoongi hyung turned off the stove and was looking at us concerned. I could tell Jimin hyungs acting face was on. Oh boy!

"So guys, see I think we need to help our Jungkookie out, you know? He's having... love troubles.." I watched as Jimin hyung told everyone to gather at the dining table again where Joon hyung was sitting and I could feel my heart beating out of my chest as all of their concerned stares were making me nervous.

Jimin hyung clapped his hands together getting ready to write a scene straight from a kdrama as he usually does. "Okay so basically, he likes this girl, and he thinks she likes him too right? But the problem is, how is he gonna confess? How does one.... *dramatic pause* confess?" Jimin hyung was being over dramatic moving his arms around making sure he was making eye contact with everyone

"Jungkook likes someone?" Namjoon hyung asked surprised

"Since when? Why are we just now hearing about this?" Jin hyung added

"Literally.. you never told me anything!" Hobi hyung looked offended.. great

"No, since when did you have time to talk to girls?" Yoongi hyung asked in confusion

"What?!" Taehyung hyung startled everyone "If there's 24 hours in a day, I am literally with you for 18 of it, when did you have time to like a girl?"

"It happened in the hours you were not with him Taehyung -ah" Jimin added

I forced myself not to smile at that comment he just made.

"Oh its romantic, he walked into the coffee shop half asleep accidentally knocked into her, her books went flying to the floor coffee fell onto her outfit, thankfully it was iced am I right boys, but man he was scared and apologized a million times as he squatted down to pick up her stuff...when just then their hands touched... ELECTRICITY!" he made all of them jump a bit

"So she didn't slap you in the face for spilling her coffee?" Yoongi hyung asked in his confused expression "I would have slapped a bitch for spilling my coffee, ya know what I'm sayin!" he giggled looking over at Joonie hyung who only had a not now look on his face.

"Anyways as I was saying...." Jimin hyung started again, "As their hands touched they stared into each others eyes and boom boom, thats the sound of his heart. Kooks, our little Kooks has never felt that way about anyone, y'all know this! This is serious.."

"So she didn't get mad about the coffee spilling thing?" Jin hyung asked as Namjoon hyung gave him a poke

"Jimin you act like you were there, Kook what's her name? You know what her major is? We gotta find her so you can ask her out." Joon hyung was starting to say

"What? Why didn't you tell me this?" Taehyung hyung interrupted as Jimin hyung stared at him with a small pout

"He was scared, its all so new to him.." Jimin hyung finished "As for her name... its... its Amelia, friends call her Ami...She's apparently at the coffee shop a lot so when Kook went to buy her that coffee he spilled they all call her Ami. And then he was like 'I am Jungkook, let me pay for your dry cleaning girl' and then she was like 'I am Amelia, don't worry about it, it was an accident'  you little lover boy." he looked over at me smacking my arm.

I looked down in shyness but it was really me trying not to laugh at how good he was at making this up on the spot.

"I know there's an Ami in accounting?" Joon hyung said

"Ya no, that don't sound like her!" Jimin hyung cut him off

"Ami, huh? Who even is she? So you only met her that one time? Jimin I am asking him not you!" Tae hyungie went at it again

"Yup, just the one time... I need to find her, she could be my soul mate or something.."

"Jungkookie come on, you don't even know her! All from a stare and accidental touch? Seems pointless!" he scoffed

"Hyung, when you know, you just know?"

"Right so like what do you know?" Yoongi hyung sat up in his chair, "I would have to agree with Tae on this, like you don't know her?" I rolled my eyes at the fact that Yoongi hyung always sides with Tae hyungie I guess he has a soft spot for him too.

"Hyung I need to find her and ask her on a date so I know..."

"Makes sense!" Hobi hyung said with Jin and Joon hyung nodding along. I watched a Jimin hyung dramatically nodding along too. You know, I am more subtle at this acting thing than him.

"Seems stupid, and why are we gathered here for this? Hobi hyung come on, the game!" Tae hyungie was walking away now

"Well, we will find her Kook.." Hobi hyung said getting up to join Tae hyungie

The rest of the hyungs were talking amongst themselves on how we can possibly find a girl that don't exist, as I watched Taehyung hyung bite the side of his lips and roll his eyes as he played his game

"Taehyung-ah come help our boy find love!" Jimin hyung yelled at him only to earn a glare from Tae hyungie. Jimin hyung side eyed me, and let out a smile, I retuned the one I was holding in for so long.

Yup.. so there's that.
