Madeline glanced at Lucas from the corner of her eye and followed him out.

The hallway was quiet, with barely anyone around.

Madeline crossed her arms, leaning against the corner of the hallway. “Alright, what’s going on?”

A teasing glint flickered in Madeline’s eyes, “Why not just go with the flow?”

“Just watch,” Madeline said as she turned back to the lounge. Her attitude improved a lot as she sat down and chatted with everyone.

Farrell had a fondness for newcomers in the entertainment industry. Snowy was a naive beauty, untouched by the worldly ways, with innocence, vitality, and a bit of stubborn foolishness–thinking she could reach the top through her own efforts.

He took pleasure in having these types of girls under his control. Although they usually had strong mental fortitude, after going through his games repeatedly, they would eventually lose hope, and their eyes would become empty with numbness. Farrell loved to destroy a shy and timid flower.

“Madeline, right? You have great potential, and this role is perfect for you. While pouring the wine, Madeline let a faint powder from under her fingernails slip into their glasses. The particles were so tiny that they went unnoticed. After all, at this table, Madeline seemed like the innocent one. Who would have thought this supposedly innocent girl had sharp fangs hidden?
