Chapter 347 - Releasing Ghosts

Chi Shuyan sat down, and it wasn’t long before the man came over, holding two trays steadily. There was a large plate piled high with rice on the tray, and there was more food on the side than usual. Could it be that the uncles and aunties in Yanjing University’s canteen were also obsessed with looks?

It had to be said that good-looking people had an unfair advantage.

But looking at all the food, how could Chi Shuyan finish it?

She had forgotten to tell this man to get less just now.

Forget it. Eat first, talk later.

When the two sat down to eat, Chi Shuyan sensed that almost all eyes in the cafeteria were trained on their table. Firstly, this man didn’t fit in with his suit, and secondly, he was too good-looking.

Chi Shuyan thought about how many girls had gathered when the man was getting the food, but his aura was probably too strong, so no one dared to approach him.

After taking a glance, Chi Shuyan retracted her gaze. She didn’t think much of it, and lowered her head to eat as she teased the man, “These portions are really big. The uncles and aunties in the canteen didn’t give you all the rest, did they?”

Qi Zhenbai’s cold and hard eyebrows softened a bit. “Not to that extent, but your school canteen auntie is quite enthusiastic!”

Qi Zhenbai said that the auntie was “quite enthusiastic,” but he recalled how the auntie just now was so enthusiastic that she couldn’t wait to recommend all the tasty dishes to him and give him all of them. She also said that she would charge less.

But the plate was only so big, and many of the dishes were even placed next to it on the tray. Qi Zhenbai rubbed the space between his eyebrows.

Chi Shuyan couldn’t help but laugh. “It’s hard for other people to get this sort of treatment!”

“Then, she said she would introduce her daughter to me!” Qi Zhenbai’s lips suddenly curled up.

Chi Shuyan also smiled. “Then, did you say you have a girlfriend?”

“I did!”

“That’s good!”

“It is indeed good. Otherwise, what if my wife gets jealous later?” Qi Zhenbai raised his eyes with a noble air.

Chi Shuyan choked and gritted her teeth. “I’m not that petty. Eat your food!”

After eating for a while, Chi Shuyan couldn’t eat any more, but when she thought of the words “Put an end to waste” stuck up at the canteen entrance, she suddenly felt pressured. If she had known, she would have gone to get the food herself.

Qi Zhenbai was observant, so how could he not see what his wife was thinking? It just so happened that he had a huge appetite. After eating his own food, he didn’t mind at all as he put his wife’s leftovers and dishes onto his plate.

After doing that for a while, he got lazy, and ate the rest of the food directly off of his wife’s plate and spoon.

Chi Shuyan was now used to the man eating her leftovers. Sometimes, when they were eating, he would especially eat what was in her bowl. Even if the two bowls of rice were identical, the rice in her bowl tasted better to him.

She didn’t know when this man had developed this habit!

After eating and drinking his fill, Qi Zhenbai shifted the topic to what his wife said on the phone earlier. “Who reported you?” After a pause, the man quickly said, “Don’t worry, I’ll deal with it!”

Chi Shuyan didn’t doubt that this man could resolve the matter, but she really didn’t want to trouble this man over such a small thing. She said, “I can resolve this matter myself. It’s just a small conflict. You know I’m a vengeful person. I’m prepared to settle old and new scores with that person tonight!”

Qi Zhenbai loved seeing his wife like this the most, in high spirits and brandishing her claws with a bit of unbridled arrogance. He was especially entranced. There was a hint of a smile on his thin lips as he whispered, “Wife, how are you going to deal with the person?”

Chi Shuyan whispered in the man’s ear, “Release ghosts!”
