He thought for a while, then said, “I won’t interfere with the matter of leaving school, but I really don’t trust you to take care of your wife. In the future, bring your wife back to the old residence!”

Qi Zhenbai said calmly, “Grandpa, the old residence is a little far from my wife’s school. She’s still living in the dormitory!”

It would have been fine if Qi Zhenbai hadn’t said anything. When Grandpa Qi heard the words “living in the dormitory,” the anger in his heart flared again. “Your wife is pregnant now, and you still dare let her stay in the dormitory? What are the conditions like?”

Grandpa Qi remembered that school had just reopened recently, and students had to go through military training as soon as school reopened. His face changed drastically, and the walking stick in his hand almost hit the floor in shock. He hurriedly asked, “Did you apply leave for your wife? Kid, if you dare say that your wife was still attending military training yesterday, do you believe that I won’t hit you with my walking stick?”
