Chapter 1118

“Rewind to thirty seconds before,” Anthony ordered while staring at the scene.

The receptionist did not know what was happening, so she hurriedly took the remote control to

rewind for 30 seconds.

After three seconds, Anthony said coldly, “Pause and zoom in on the side.”

The receptionist did as he ordered.

After zooming in, Oliver noticed that Anthony's aura had turned hostile. Then, he looked at the

screen on the wall again and found out where the problem was.

The reporter's camera showed an interview with the doctor.

Not far from the doctor, Lucas appeared. Anne even ran toward Lucas and then was hugged by

him...

According to Oliver's analysis, Anne should either be in the Royal Mansion or the company. Hence,

the reason she was at the hospital was because of Lucas.

Not only that, but she was even caught on camera hugging Lucas.

It was quite a distance away from the camera, and no one would know who they were unless they

zoomed in. Yet, Anthony could notice it at a glance.

Oliver secretly felt that the matter was serious and someone would suffer.

The next shot was switched, and the two were out of sight.

Anthony was angry and entered his office, slamming the door shut with a loud bang.

The whole floor was trembling with fright.

Oliver stood there. Before he could even move, the closed office door opened three seconds later,

and a black figure came out, heading for the elevator swiftly.

Oliver could feel the tension, and he was worried for Anne.

Anne was a little uncomfortable, so she got out of Lucas’s arms, took a step back, and asked, “You're

fine? That's not what I mean... just now, the nurse said the one brought in last night didn't survive,

and I thought it was you..."

Lucas stared at Anne, noticing Anne's nervousness and sadness just now.

Her concern made him feel much better.

“My driver died,” Lucas said in a heavy tone.

Anne knew the driver, and she could not help feeling sorry. “My condolences.”

Anne nodded.

“I was dealing with his affairs just now. He has parents and a younger sister at home. I'll try my best

to compensate.”

Anne nodded. “You're a good boss. But why didn't you answer the phone?”

“The phone was in the car, and it broke.”

“That makes sense.”

"Did you come here because you were worried about me?” Lucas asked, looking intently at her.

"Of course I'd be worried after reading that news! Thankfully, you're fine...” Anne said, “Since you're

alright, I'll return to my office.”

"Anne."

Anne looked at Lucas, puzzled.

"Spend some time with me?”

Anne hesitated, and she immediately thought about Anthony.

She just came to confirm Lucas's situation. Since he was fine, she should not stay here anymore.

"I..." Just as Anne was about to reject him, a cold voice sounded from behind-

"Are you two giving me a surprise?”

Anne was so frightened that her mind was buzzing. Before she could turn around, someone

grabbed her arm tightly, pulling her over violently-

aura.

Anthony narrowed his eyes, exuding a dangerous vibe. “Have I been too nice to you? Hmm?”

“There's a way to appease me.” Anthony looked up. “Break his other hand so that he'll learn a lesson

of what will happen if he touches my woman!”

“No...” Anne grabbed his arm anxiously. “You can't do this!"
